Interesting...

So now that DAYS is not going to air the full week, I wonder what Soapnet will run in its place. Dare I hope for a classic episode or two, or am I giving Soapnet too much credit?

During the weekly marathon, usually they will re-show the Thursday and Friday episodes from the week before so they can just carry through with the last 5 consecutive episodes.

As for the daily airings, usually they just show something Soapnet related. There definitely won't be any classic episodes though. I would love for some but they never did it before and we would've heard something by now.

Belle and Philip were very good, but I do wish that Days would just move on from this triangle. It's been going in some form or another with various actors for too many years. I've generally preferred Phelle to Shelle, but have always expected Shelle to win. So if Shelle MUST be the rooting couple, please just stick them together and give Philip someone else... preferably Abby Deveraux.

Anna's mere existence continues to make Chris more interesting than he has been since he decided to pretend that he is Roman.

It was nice to see Lumi free of interruption. While making one or both babies EJ's might make for a more complicated story, that's not the way Days usually goes. It could have had a more complicated story by making Claire Philip's, Ciara Patrick's, the Willow baby Shawn's, Zack John's, Theo Brandon's, etc., but it likes to have the baby biologically fathered by the man the woman considers her true love. And that's fine with me-- I'm good with happy endings on a soap. Even if Sami does end up having a baby not biologically fathered by Lucas, I can't fathom her picking names that Lucas hates, like Santos/Colleen. She doesn't want a family with EJ; she wants a family with Lucas. She expects to raise her children with Lucas even if EJ gets every other weekend and two weeks in the summer. Actually, I took Tom as a sign that that baby will belong to Lucas, since I don't see Days giving Tom Horton's name to a baby born from a rape by a man who has attacked so many people Tom loved.
