Ok, today is their special Prom Night musical. The previews kind of looked good, so I'm watching.....

And after that first musical number - I've about had ENOUGH. Haha - Why is Marcie gettin' jiggy wit' it all over her students like that?

Cole - he might be a cute young guy - but he is STIFF and just laughable watching him dance around all the professional kids.

I did like the song though....

Are they SERIOUS? I can't decide if this is the stupidest thing the show's ever done or if it's one of the cutest things they've ever done. What the show SHOULD have done was to put all this stuff into a standalone or two, not intermingle it with the rest of the show. And since when do faculty perform with the kids in high school plays?

In other news, is this blonde chick Sarah Roberts?

Anybody else watching?

I absolutely LOVED the song Blair sang to Starr. That was a nice scene.....except who has so many framed pictures of their daughter in one spot like that? All the pics looked the same anyway - haha. Still, great scene.

Okay, I've thought about it and I've decided I like it. It's clearly aimed at the tween audience who just finished school. In that respect, it's really nice.

Well I hate it. I had a good 50% of the episode muted. I'll be so glad when all of this is over. All I know is that the musical itself better be good, because the preperation has been horrid to watch.

Ok - after seeing the "To Be Continued" at the end - I feel better. I thought we were going to get jipped there for awhile.

Alderson's talents are seriously being wasted with Brandon Buddy as her love interest. Buddy is HORRIBLE and in that last scene where he was 'singing' - he barely could open his mouth. I know he's always been horrible, but you'd think he could step it up for this highly advertised musical special - and he didn't. He was laughable and took me out of the moment.

Overall, it was ok. The songs were great and original. The direction needed a little help, and I didn't like seeing John and all the other horrible characters in the show....haha.

I'll tune in on Monday to see the conclusion of "Prom Night" though.

Oh - well is the musical part of it going through Wed. or just Monday? The promo said 10 original songs, and I think we had about 5 today.

Yes, it ends on Wednesday...it's four days long. But it won't be the only thing on each of those days, however.

Thank God  . I think its pretty good, but a whole show for 4 days with nothing but that crap, would kill me.
