Members bellcurve
Well, that's not surprising...BET(which is Black Entertainment Television) is currently owned by Viacom, a company owned by whites. That channel targets African-Americans and a lot of them eat it up, not even realizing that the network is now a living, breathing parody. At least they get cool points for the IN LIVING COLOR acquisitiion. Something to break up the constant rap and crap hours on the network. There are lots of non-black owned companies that are targeting African-American consumers. I do think its interesting Koreans are doing it to shut out African-American companies, but what surprises you about that?
Members JER Soaps Fan
Something just seems sinister about the whole thing. I hate to say it, but it's almost like, "find another niche! Blacks should sell black hair care products since they know black hair best!" I don't know. That's how I feel. I feel like Koreans are overstepping their bounds. Find another trade. It's almost a mockery to sell something THIS specific to one race.
Members Danni
The problem is that one of the black-owned hair care product line is a walking ad for self-hatred.

Members EricaKane70
I don't even bother to watch BET anymore they cater too much to the younger crowd and I find majority of there shows immature. I miss the days of Donny simpson and quality music being played and this is coming from a 25 year old.
