Today was pretty boring except for Jash/Jamie/Carlotta. I could care less about Tate/Ade, Crave or the musical right now. My ff button got QUITE the workout.

I actually am starting to really enjoy Marcie with the teen set. Her manipulating Cole, and interactions with Starr and Langston are what make most of the teen scenes barable. I hope they actually bulid a storyline around her as a teacher, and not a supporting role to the teens. Too bad the play didn't have a contraverserial theme, and have her job threatened or something. Loved her calling out Michael, and for once... I enjoyed a Marcie/John conversation, and that because it was all about Marcie and Michael. I like how she can see through Michael, I thought she would guess what's going on... but I guess with the play occupying her time; the secret will hit her like a tornado and tear her world apart.

As for Todd/Blair... would have been more enjoyable if I haven't seen this before or didn't know the somewhat predictable outcome. Still not interesting to me.

Nash/Jessica/Antonio, am I the only one thing too much of the blame is placed on Jessica? And that she's giving Antonio too much right, to be angry with her? In no way, do I believe that Antonio didn't see and feel some of Jessica's hestiation and pushed her into it (both the marriage and adopting Jamie.) She married him, because he stuck by her with the whole Tess thing, which I could tell a mile away. That right there spells trouble with him. I have to commend her for not wanting to adopt Jamie before telling him that she loves Nash, I'll give her credit for her reasoning... not her excusion. And I do like how she wants to be Jamie's mother, but not Antonio's wife anymore. Now, with Jamie seeing and her accident, it's just another thing that they will put on Jessica and make the cause of it be because she loves Nash.

I agree that the Saint Antonio thing has gone to far. Jessica is not innocent in this mess, but neither is Antonio. That has always been my biggest complaint about the character of Antonio. He is never held accountable for anything. When he was not held accountable for crapping all over Jessica, for dumping his kid on RJ and for demeaning his mother during the Santi mess, that was kind of the last straw for me. During the custody hearing he was made a hero by lying, and then he further got to be the hero by stealing RJ's club. The Antonio love is Frank Valentini's and it does make me dislike the character even more. So, I really have no patience for the character of Antonio and it really annoys me that his constant bad behavior is gloried. That being said. Jessica is not innocent in this. But neither is Antonio. Both of them are using Jamie and that is deplorable.

I like Todd and Blair, but I don't trust Higley with that one. I think there are similarities in this triangle -- whatever it may be at the moment with TnB -- and the previously metnioned triangle. They never end.

Marcie is becoming one of my favorite characters. She has really matured. I liked Marcie and Al so much, but I'm beginning to think that Michael and Marcie are a really good couple. I'm really wanting them to have a story other than just subdiaries of whatever is going on with John, or in this case, Todd.

Here's my two cents...

I was proud of Antonio the other day when he was telling Jessica off. He had every right to. And Nash is just getting on my last nerve.

I love seeing Jamie and Carlotta.

The weak link in the teen storyline is of course Cole. The kid couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. But Marcie makes the storyline more bearable. And Starr and Langston are great too. Britney is ok is small doses.

The Viki/Clint/Dorian stuff was funny too.

The rest is so-so.

Was finally able to watch the stuff with Viki, Clint and Dorian, and I found it quite funny. Can't wait for Clint to realize he's made the wrong choice.

I think it is all so-so, LOL. even the parts we are discussing. Back on Antonio. First, I think Nash is the only one being honest in any of this. He is telling the truth. Jessica was wrong to marry Antonio and he told her that, she should not have planned on adopting Jamie and he told her that, and Jessica is living a lie. If Nash disappeared, all of that would still be true.

I don't share your opinion that Antonio is a victim in all of this. He admitted that she has been ambivalent about this adoption all aong. He knew that. He also told his mother that his marriage was rocky, and he told Carlotta that he was still getting to know this version of Jess and missed the old Jessica. Now why was it healthy for him to push this woman to adopt a child when he is no more certain of this marriage than she is. Jessica does love Jamie, and she loves Antonio. But she doesn't love him in the way a wife loves a husband.

Had she said no to the adoption, he would have screamed yelled and bellowed too. He would have stormed out. Of course, I would have preferred that storyline. It would have been less offensive.

Yeah, he should be mad. But no, he's not innocent in all of this. He pushed her into adopting Jamie to save his marriage. She agreed to adopt Jamie to save her marriage. There isn't a good guy in that pair.

Yep, but I'm more disgusted at Antonio pushing Jamie out there than anything. Jessica is wrong, yes she is... and really she has no one to blame but herself for it all. She didn't have to marry Antonio. And it seems like the only one not hiding their feelings and being somewhat real is Nash, which isn't that weird, as he's been upfront from the beginning.

It seemed like also Jessica was trying to tell Antonio that she was not comfortable with adopting Jamie yet (the bracelet with Antonio and Keri's name,) and yet he kept pushing it to save his marriage. And she let him to do the same. That's more pitiful than the couples that have children to save them.

I think yesterday, and spoilers for next week (or the week after that,) is making it clear that it's all about Todd and Blair... I'm not seeing a true the triangle in the sense of Nash/Jessica/Antonio. Maybe in the beginning, it was a triangle... but now, I'm find it hard to believe. Maybe if Evangeline would have gone with Todd and the spoilers about him being rescued was Blair... but seeing it's all about Blair, a triangle... nope (but that can change.) I think they are just pulling the mess out to ruffle the unneed feathers; because when ever it was about Evangeline and Todd, Blair is always lerking acround the corner. Now it's all Todd and Blair, and Evangeline is no where to be seen... Todd didn't/hasn't even called her... so, again, that triangle that they were trying to play (yet again) isn't there.

Todd and Blair are like the Rocky movies to me, the more they sequels and continuation that have... the boring and predictable they become.

Ok I cant stomach to watch another round of Todd/Blair, been there to many times to count. They so remind me of other dysfunctional couple that wont end Sonny/Carly. Its getting to a point where I cant watch the show because I want so much more for Todd. I want a single sexy FREE Todd.

Viki/Clint/Dorian-I dont know about this triangle why to me does it seems everyone is trying to hard to work it or maybe this Clint is just not doing it for me. I also want a FREE Viki and possably why I am hearing Tate's day played by Mandooth may be a love interest for Viki. I hope so and I hope its about her and nothing else.

I am so happy about Antonio but I need more. I want the skank to fry and I need Jash to burn to a point of no return but that is going to be hard to sell with them replacing Antonio so what they going to do continue with this triangle UGH.

I do see your point. Blair and Todd have been off and on so much, I can't even remember when they last were on. OLTL truly is weak with couples right now. I don't like all the triangles because they are basically the same story. Right now, I'd really like to see Blair with someone different. I don't know why they never tried an Antonio/Blair hook-up, or for that matter a John McBain/Blair hook-up (repeating my argument, if he has to be on every day . . . . ). I have to wonder what happens when REG re-signs, and I still believe she will. My bet is within the next two weeks, anybody else in the pool? LOL.

Anyway, as a retired TnB fan, I see your point.

I honestly believe REG will re-sign too. Not sure how long it will take, but I would say before summer starts.

I would love to see Cris and Blair become a couple. I hope John and Marty hook up for awhile. I find him most tolerable with her. Those are two characters I like way more together than I like either of them on their own. Not sure why. Right now Jash is the only couple that I really love together. I don't even mind the triangle that much. Mostly because the ABC soaps have a habit of breaking people up the second they get together.

Regarding the hostage story in May, I think it should maybe be dropped, but not because it's too sensitive of a topic, rather it would be extremely difficult to pull of tastefully. Based on what the growing teen scene has shown in their acting ability, I don't think they could handle something so serious. And doesn't Starr have enough trauma as is? I just don't think I could trust OLTL to handle such a big storyline perfectly, or any other soap.

Degrassi and One Tree Hill have done great school shooting stories, and the cast did an excellent job. But Brandon Buddy often stumbles through lines and Portia Reiners is often stiff, so I just don't think they could pull it off well. Given they've planned this story supposedly well and had lots of time to put finishing touches on it, they could pull it off, but it's just such a huge risk. I wouldn't want to attempt it right now with the given cast.

Someone pointed out to me that it's been 3 years since Todd and Blair were on. I couldn't believe it. I thought it had been 2 at the most. For them to be OLTL's only viable super couple they have been more off than on and they don't treat each other very well, but that is part of the Todd and Blair way.

As far as REG re-signing I don't think she will, but I will say you were right about when TSJ would re-sign so maybe you are on to something. LOL
