Has anyone read the Guiding Light comic? I got the "Civil War: Choosing Sides" issue, and in the back the Guiding Light comic involves Spider-Man and Capt. America et al descending upon Springfield. Is this the only part of the comic or are there more?

I read it too. I bought an issue of "Spider-Man Meets Mary Jane" (or something like that) just for the GL comic. It was an okay story, I thought. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger with Alan, but as far as I'm aware, that's it, there's no additional part to it.

when did this comic series for GL come out? I remember they had GL romance books in the 80s, but I thought the comic thing was a one time thing with Harley?

Yes, it was only a onetime thing last year, not a series -- several pages printed as a backup story in various comic books at about the same time as the ITL was shown on TV (but not the same story as the ITL).

It does end on a cliffhanger though, thus why the original poster asked if there were more comics to get.
