Yeah. They'd rather see Brad take off his shirt for the thousandth time than anyone over 40 having a storyline whatsoever.

Yeah, I love that scene too. TPTB on ATWT should watch the Golden Girls more often and see that people actually enjoy watching characters over 50 have love lives.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tom/Margo/Barbara revisited for the rivalries, but I wouldn't want it to turn into another 'love triangle.' That would be an overdone been there, done that for me.

One possible storyline could be: Barbara mistakens Tom's kindness for affection, causing some old feelings to resurface. With Hal gone, she decides that she wants to reclaim the man who once offered her stability but she turned away for James. However, when Tom rejects her advances, she schemes to break up his marriage by claiming he had come onto her. A man claiming sexual harassment is entering into taboo territory. Bob and Lisa naturally side with their son, while Kim is torn between her stepson and niece. As rumors start to circulate, Margo could also find herself torn between believing Tom or once again believing Barbara's lie. A confrontation with Barbara could feed Margo's doubts, especially when Babs throws history in her face, but she ultimately chooses to side with Tom after really listening to his version of events. Teaming up, they begin a secret investigation to slowly debunk the holes in Barbara's version, eventually clearing Tom's name.

I finally saw the Barbara/Margo scenes and they were great! This is what ATWT should be about. It brought in the history between the two characters. Why cant they produce more shows like this one? Monday's show rocked!

    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
