I watched the backstage access video and they all sound great. I'm looking forward to seeing the show. Hope there are others here to discuss it with.

I watched the show tonight and rather enjoyed it. It is being handled differently this year and tonight the judges voted off one girl contestant and one boy contestant and the viewing audience will cast votes on the remaining eight whereby the one with the fewest votes will be cast off at the beginning of the show next Thursday. I agreed completely with the two eliminated tonight. The man is an excellent guitarist and I'm hoping his performance will gain him auditions in bigger bands if he wants that. The young girl is only 18 and has a lot of growth professionally etc. so she will have got excellent background from this show.

I voted for Angela Hacker. She has soul and I just loved how she sang. I think a girl will win this year, but it's really hard to tell after seeing only one performance from some of them as they may have a great variety in range.
