January 9, 200718 yr Member LoL! Two deer or something got into a fight earlier and one had the other's eyeball dangling from its horn!! SHUT UP. You did NOT see a deer with an eyeball dangling from it's horn. LMAO!!! Well, that trumps my herd of water buffalo and momma/baby gibbons I saw last night. Damn.
January 9, 200718 yr Member This seems pretty cool Kenny! Not much going on right now but I will check it out again later.
January 14, 200718 yr Member I avoided this thread for so long just because I thought it was a lame Yahoo! game. (Don't ask, ) I anticipate this possibly being cool. But I wouldn't know yet. I'm watching now and NOTHING.
January 14, 200718 yr Member -- dammit, nothing is happening!!! I wanna see some animal-on-animal VIOLENCE!!!:(
January 14, 200718 yr Member So the birds are chirping. They're chirping and chirping away and not shutting up. I want VIOLENCE!!! A FIGHT!!! ACTION!!!!
January 14, 200718 yr Member Sorry, Kenny, but I don't think this is going to catch on. In today's fast-paced world, no one has the TIME to wait for action. For four unbearable minutes, I've been watching a camera pan across land while birds that I can't even are chirping their heads off. In today's TiVo world where we commercial skip and believe in "now, now, now," this just won't fly. I'm turning it off. Let me know if the webmaster puts up archives of the "best of," where something actually happens. I'd totally watch that.
January 14, 200718 yr Member Okay, Kenny, I totally lied and didn't close the window. I thought about it, but instead, I splitscreened my monitor to show SON in a bigger window and Africam in a smaller window ...oh my, a deer!!! Anyway, yes, I agree that it's strangely addictive.
January 14, 200718 yr Member After watching this for about 10 minutes, I've decided that Africam, unlike other things that claim to be, really is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ooh, a whole pack of deer!!!! #$@#$@#
January 14, 200718 yr Author Member LMAO! Jesus Christ, JSF, you're certifiably insane... and I love it. I agree, though. Waiting around for animals is idiotic. But that's why it's addictive! You just keep watching... and watching... you can't click it off, because as soon as you close it, a whole herd of elephants might come walking by... or lions... the SUSPENSE!
January 14, 200718 yr Member I finally see an animal! There are 5 lions laying around being lazy...but it must be really hot there or something - they are panting/breathing really loud. Edited January 14, 200718 yr by alwaysAMC
