About Adam

Matthew J. Morrison, who just debuted as ATWT's new Adam on October 24, is leaving due to a scheduling conflict, according to the show. "He's perfectly natural and gorgeous and a great guy and a wonderful actor. Catch him quick, because he's auditioning for everything in the world. When I see him in the hall I say, 'Isn't this regular paycheck good?' It could go on forever, you know. But he could take off at any time," lamented prescient on-screen mom Ellen Dolan (Margo) just a few days before he started airing. There is no last air date yet, but the role will apparently be recast.

That really sucks. I don't remember the last time I was happy to see a fresh face / re-introduced character. I hope they find a suitable recast.

I'm still bummed out about this. He's been really good in the role, and he fit right in as a Hughes-Munson. I hope the next one they get for Adam is just as good!
