April 23, 200817 yr Member What was the reported "special twist" at the end of the episode? I assume it was Robin & Barney
July 1, 200817 yr Member Interesting, funny and enjoyable series. I look forward to the upcoming season. The show is a bit different than a typical comedy series, which is why I like it.

It's so not needed for a show that switches back and forth in time. I hope Britney makes more guest spots next season. I thought she did very well in the 2 eps she was on.

I hope Britney makes more guest spots next season. I thought she did very well in the 2 eps she was on. She did do well. And ratings could stay high if they had her on more. I absolutely love the show. Robin's obsession with guns... "Robin Sparkles"... Ted's insane search for the perfect one... Barney is good in everything... Marshall/Lily are also funny... there's nothing bad about it. I hope it stays on for a long time.
July 9, 200817 yr Author Administrator Robin Sparkles I can watch "Sandcastles in the Sand" and "Let's Go to the Mall" over and over and over.
July 29, 200916 yr Member Just started watching the fourth season and after the first three episodes the only thing I can say is... what happened? This isn't the show I remember. Has it burned out already?

Has it burned out already? I still loved it in season 4. They aren't always funny, but they are still the gang I love. Dmarex, you have to watch The Big Bang Theory. Hilarious show.

Has it burned out already? It started off weak, but it got past it in a pretty short amount of time. by the end it was as good as it always was.

I like it too, but I can definitely spot jokes that aren't working. I like them as a group so I hope they can go on without losing their touch. Eventually they'll have to meet the mother (damn, I'm still hoping "aunt Robin" turns out to be the mother). I've watched the first season of TBBT and I agree, they're great!

Believe me, season 1 of TBBT is NOTHING compared to season 2. They gave more space to Sheldon. You'll love it. As for HIMYM, the only one that is so not funny is Marshall IMO. Jason Segal is just a bad actor.
July 29, 200916 yr Author Administrator I love all of them. I can't dislike anyone. Marshall had the funniest scene from this past season - his burger speech: Just a Burger? Just a burger. Robin, it’s so much more than "just a burger." I mean…that first bite—oh, what heaven that first bite is. The bun, like a sesame freckled breast of an angel, resting gently on the ketchup and mustard below, flavors mingling in a seductive pas de deux. And then…a pickle! The most playful little pickle! Then a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and a…a patty of ground beef so exquisite, swirling in your mouth, breaking apart, and combining again in a fugue of sweets and savor so delightful. This is no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread, Robin. This is God, speaking to us in food.
