Members Matt
Just into the beginning of "The Nine" (which I think I'm going to like, btw) and the thought struck me that there are a gazzilion series on now (it seems like) where the entire premise is that viewers have no clue what's going on. Lost, The Nine, Six Degrees, Jerico, Heroes, etc. are all about stories where viewers have not one freakin' clue what the devil is going on. For the most part, it seems to work. Any thoughts? Administrator Toups Posted October 5, 2006 Administrator Share Posted October 5, 2006 I like the trend. The more serialized dramas, the better. I'm tired of episodic crime shows.
Members Matt
Well, I like serialized drama, too (DUH!), but it seems that there are so many series know where you watch only to go "what the hell is going on?!" We're not jumping into the storylines mid-way, we're jumping in at season 3 and then finding out what happened in seasons one and two. Sometimes it feels like I turned on a movie 1 hour in and I'm waiting for a commercial break to find out what the hell it is.

Members DaysnPassionsFan
I don't mind shows where you don't know what the hell happened. Its just that sometimes, I don't really care what the hell happened in the first place (hello The Nine!)
Members Matt
Perhaps we need a soap where we have no clue what's going on. Perhaps I'm working on that already.

Members WTGH
As long as some questions are answered before new ones are given, it works. I hate twist after twist after twist...
