JEN CAVES TO JACK:

Jack and Jennifer's nose for news gets them kidnapped this week on DAYS.

"Jack gets a call from this Deep Throat character," sets up Matthew Ashford (Jack). "Jennifer goes with Jack to track down the story and keep an eye on him. She's worried about his health."

SHe should have worried about his safety. The two are attacked by thugs and dragged off. "Jack and Jennifer are tied up in an old woodshed," previews Ashford. "They end up freeing themselves, escaping before the thugs come back, and finding their way to this cabin. There's this backwoods lady in it with a shotgun."

The paranoid woman locks Jennifer out of the cabin and takes Jack hostage. "Jack tries to make a phone call," continues Ashford. "he wants to contact Bo to let him know that he and Jennifer are alive and have a clue as to th owner of the gun that killed Eve."

The duo reconnects and gets away. "Jack and Jennifer take shelter in a cave. They've lived half their lives in a cave." cracks Ashford. Including the time they made love for the first time. "They share a memory of that," smiles Ashford.

And then one thing leads to another.....

Seriously WHY IS IT that after being back for ALL OF THESE YEARS that DAYS gets J&J perfectly right TO THE TEE the month before they leave the show.

Oh well, better to go out on a great note like this, than slowly backburned off with no explanation.

But seriously J&J in a cave, SUCH a nod to their history and Jen finally giving Frankie the boot is just the [!@#$%^&*] icing on the cake for this J&J fan!! WHOO HOO!
