I agree with Meredith. Especially since Babs has clearly gone senile. Either that or, as smart as she is, is (for whatever reason) DELIBERATELY making racist, elitist, off-color remarks just to garner the buzz those stupid remarks gain from TMZ.com and other celebirty gossip outlets. (Word spreads, of course). So yeah, the View has become a joke. Starting first with SUCH a respected news personality sinking to the bottom of hte gutter for buzz, as Babs has. (Again, if she hasn't gone nuts).

JSF, with all due respect to your Broadway loving behind, people don't watch THE VIEW for Koosh Balls, Fun, and Broadway stuff. It will fail miserably if there aren't newsworthy topics and celebrity gossip to balance that stuff out.

And I could always say THE VIEW was a joke WHILE Meredith was on, but she's my homegirl. Gotta stand by her.

I'm sorry, but I've been seeing the promos for Rosie's "View" (one of my ABCs is the only channel I culd catch - the rest just came back a few hours ago HOORAY!) and I dread it already. That is not "The View." That is happy-go-lucky bullshit that I refuse to watch.
