  1. Gee, I guess that's Mischa Barton. I don't remember her at all. i mean, judging by the timeline and the fondness for berets, I guess that's her.
  2. She reminds me of Maya in that clip. Esta, one of the most beautiful, truly unique faces of daytime.
  3. The FRFP opening credits were indeed on WoST, and on YouTube though I can't find them now. It was like a drive down a road with stylized pictures of homes on either side while the silhouette of the couple multiplied itself like the rings ("worlds") of the old AW credits, but in more of a '70s Electric Company sorta way (the O's in "Poorer" are yet Another homage to the rings). Bill Wolf announced the title.

  9. Oops! Easy mistake, sorry. Yeah, Christopher.
  10. It's kind of amazing how Kate and Robin were very much the same "type" in '88 and how that's really changed.
  11. Linda looked really great around that time. What I wouldn't give for a nice cheesy after-school special. Hearing that snippet of OLTL closing theme put me in the best mood for all of 30 seconds. TGIF
  12. I had one of those Kringle Christmas bears as a kid. Remind me to never pose with it as an adult.
  13. Gotta love that John "Money is for Spending" Conboy. The '80s were made for a guy like him. I seem to remember reading in that TWOP soap gossip thread that Billy and Kin shared a passion for something else.
  14. ^^How dare folks get indignant when we talk about crazy soap fans? Thanks for sharing that Carl, she was so beautiful. And incredibly lucky! When she turned down mystery role/Felicia(?), that could have easily been the end of it. Interesting to see that there really was a Tina connection, as I've said, her Ava felt like a bit of an Erica/Tina hybrid. They probably would have made her dye her hair. I always thought it was pronounced "Mehn-yo".

  17. That's interesting, I have a friend who thought Constance Towers and Susan Flannery were the same person, i.e., that Susan played Clarissa on Capitol.

  22. You can say that again. Shane is Yvette Mimieux. I hope more of this shows up on YouTube. Jonelle Allen was in it as well.
