  1. Curlee did outline what I think was a brilliant idea on how to save Mo. She described it like this: We see the car & the camera pans up & up & up some more till we are looking at two people at the top of the cliff. They are Mo & Roger. Mo is shaking & saying, "We've got to get out of here." Roger puts her in his car, drives to a motel, stashes her in a room & says he'll be back soon. Then he goes to try to figure something out. Anyway, she's alive.
  2. Ed slid by, never paid. Lillian, OY, Mo's "friend", she paid. She felt guilty, ED NO!!!
  3. Things Patrick Mulcahey said to me about GL Spent a lot of apprentice time with Douglas at GL. (He always said Douglas, never Doug.) Allen Potter fired Jane Elliot & he & Douglas had this huge falling out over it. In this one scene Mike Bauer was chasing Alan Spaulding on horseback & a helicopter dipped down & saved Alan. P&G pitched this lame idea that instead it was a blue Mercedes not a helicopter. Nola - Kelly - Floyd - Morgan, these were his Emmy material people. Patrick was Douglas's protege & Douglas was his mentor. Douglas was a terrible liar but he morphed into this great storyteller. Douglas asked his niece Tracy, what would be the most romantic thing to happen? She said, "The cutest boy would notice me & only me." John Wesley Shipp was very tight with Douglas. GL: I understand staying away & I understand coming back but I don't understand getting from one to the other. Nancy Curlee & Douglas - not much in common. Ross's election night dream. Ed & Ross conversation, that was mine. Rachel Miner & Bryan Buffington & Ben Reade: that they actually did the scene that I wrote especially for them! Lisa Brown & Maeve Kincaid. Voices in your head? YES Melissa Hayden! He said he is not optimistic about broadcast soaps when they are off of network goodies. Streaming! The future. You do what you think is right.
  4. That's it!!! You've hit on it. Counterfeit, brilliant. Ted is on the ball! Cheat DanaLeslieAnnaSheilaSherry why not? With that many aliases who would believe her if she turned him in? How would she even register at the sergeant's desk? Too many names!
  5. There's an emoji 🫰 See. Nothing decent for sarcasm or irony but there is definitely a finger snap! This brief moment about emojis has been brought to you by Brooke Logan + all 15 names since she is the most married person on earth.
  6. Don't ever imagine that soap fans don't hold grudges, because we do!
  7. That would be more wigs than even Dana/Leslie/Sheila/Sherry/Anna could possibly need, ever. Folks, that would be a helluva lot of wigs!
  8. I'm not even what you'd call a fan but Krista Allen as Taylor was as they say the BOMB!
  9. Is that what Mulcahey is proud of?
  10. That's Krystal with a K Lake & to my way of thinking this is the best ever!
  11. What I want to know is how did Ted come up with 50 thou cash without tripping any alarms or notice of his doing so. Plastic surgery wouldn't seem like a cash crop type business. That roll, when he pulled it out I was instantly dubious. Can someone explain it to me like I'm 6, maybe?
  12. Come on folks, Adamson was lucky to get a days work now & then. He needs to sit down & STFU. It's like in The women's baseball movie, There's no hurt feelings in soap casting.
  13. As long as it's not a Taylor clone! 🤔🙄🤣😉
  14. Yabbut then there's this: GL HW Nancy Curlee when asked if she had any story regrets, "Although Maureen's death was a lynchpin in a carefully conceived, well-executed story, Ellen Parker was so fine & so well loved, that her absence left a hole in the show that was later hard to fill." More like impossible to fill! And I am reminded that Jill didn't even have the guts to fire Ellen in person. That day they were both at the studio, working. Jill waited till that afternoon, called Ellen at home, told her on the phone. Did you know that? I have a list, a Jill list. It includes so many things I hold against her. It includes 3 things she can take credit for. Just 3. Balanced against possibly hundreds. YES!!!! Exactly so.
  15. 🤔😟🙄🤷‍♀️🤣🤪😜
  16. I'm not at all sure we can go by Adamson's tweet. But if true, Dark Michael, it's more than time! And, further, let's get him in place in time for May Sweeps. IOW, Mark T, get a move on, please!
  17. Yes, you of course! As much as I understand what you hate about it I also know that on some level it is your show & as such you love it, too.
  18. But in my personal reboot Michelle is with Bill. They are the fulfillment of Rachel Minor & Bryan Buffington, their youthful promise.
  19. Are there ever any episodes of soaps where this applies? TV-MA I don't think there are. Just clarifying? Soaps are always TV-14 and then added letters, right?
  20. Thanks for reiterating this one. Philece was amazing on DAYS but she was no Donna Love. Logan made me mad with this. I mean someone from the show called Anna once a week the whole time asking "are you ready to come home yet?" That's a rising inflection because they were hopeful. This reminds me of people who point out that Ellen Parker was on several times as a ghost & also that she won an Emmy. Good grief! Do those people miss the point entirely? Mo was dead. Not even that fabulous line about making them a suburban joke can make up for that. What do they not understand about dead?
  21. This is exactly my thought about BTG. But before it gets lost, I want to congratulate any & all fans of BOLD. I personally find it both remarkable & good that CBS is as committed to its soaps as it seems to be.
  22. Yes, a bonus if you ask me! The actor who plays Tomas "acted"!!!! And, finally getting to check off the box of Martin in same scene with his Dad Ted. (If in fact Ted is his father.)
  23. Thank god they weren't there long enough to call it an era. Maybe black spot on the record? Have you ever read what they said about writing for a soap? The poor things had to work so hard! Not that you could tell any hard work had gone on from the results.
  24. Yabbut today Martin was good, for the first time I might add. But the very best thing was the ganging up on Tomas. Did you see the look on his face? Second best thing was Chelsea singing Dani's prasies. I was so surprised. It was very nice. And showing the purse worked.
