For the most part Burton, Shriner & Hennessey are smart about what they say, how they relate to the press & to the fans & also what they don't say. Although I did read that recently Shriner said, "Liesl who?" so perhaps he is situationally smart, sometimes is, sometimes isn't. Ingo & ASJr are seemingly never smart about what they say.

Yes, saying something like that Frank guy should be fired. That's #1 at GH. That is not an enhancement to employment by any means at all! And, the thing about Burton is, yes, he disagreed with the vaccine mandate & refused, so he had to be let go, but he never mouthed off, at all. Instead saying maybe he would be lucky & in the future that he & GH would be on the journey together again, etc. Unlike Ingo he was very smart in how he handled himself & the press. And, no, I don't care for Burton, but this is an aspect where he is due consideration.

I knew that this was an actual event. Uh, is this a slam at me? If so, I dispute that I deserve this. And, I certainly do not appreciate it. Incredibly unnecessary. If the pointless overindulgence is also to me, well, you're entitled to your opinion but I find this query & discussion neither pointless nor at all indulgent. Makes me think of drama queens who use up more than their fair share of the oxygen in any room. I got a snail mail letter from the county sheriff wishing me a Happy Birthday & quoting Jeremiah (29:11). (My birthday is Thursday). I think this is a horrible waste of taxpayer money & I believe in the separation of church & state.

Their taping schedule works to his advantage. This past week they were on hiatus so he had uninterrupted time to write. Then they tape for 2 weeks. Then they're on hiatus again for 2 weeks, again affording him uninterrupted time to write. It's a start & a leg up.

I've been wait & see also but then I read that Burton thought he'd be staying on at DAYS & then found out that was not happening, that no new contract, nor a renewal contract, was being offered! Well, that means Janet fired him. So, first act I know about & I'm applauding! Of course, now it's back to more wait & see but I am a bit more optimistic.

I'm not saying he looks bad ... exactly. I guess I think he looks like a type, and that type is surfer dude. He'd fit right in for a reboot of POINT BREAK.

But it is true that the writing for the parents was EXTREME!

It feels a little redundant for Carly to hook up with another one of Brenda's exes. Even if it was a million years ago and neither care. Brenda dated about 4 people ever on the show and Carly's married 2 of them already. No, Jordan is Deputy Mayor. She used to be Commish. Jordan is no longer officially law enforcement. We had a scene between Laura & Jordan not long after she returned from Europe where Laura let her know she could go back to being Commish or stay as Deputy Mayor, her choice. And, she chose Deputy Mayor.
