  1. Which is why I don't take these contract/non-contract things on soaps so seriously anymore. I mean, sometimes it feels like a supervisor at a tire shop (who is short-staffed) go: Supervisor: "Hey, Johnny! Can you come into work dis Tuesday?" Johnny (spits a loogie on the pavement): "Can't boss. I got prior commitments."
  2. Hey, at least DAYS still gets a studio at those ratings. All Guiding Light got was a gazebo and a port-o-potty. Give thanks, lol!
  3. Yeah, even on Peacock, I just got "McKinnon-ed"-out. She's extremely talented, yes. But, too much overexposure on a performer or a series tends to make me not want to take interest. For example, American Horror Story. When everyone and their great-grandmother started jumping on the bandwagon with that show, I just couldn't watch it, lol! I really couldn't.
  4. Gillian Anderson is absolutely killing it too! Oh my goodness. Eleanor Roosevelt is definitely someone I respect and admire. Great feminist. Powerful woman who used her power for good. In Soap Land, I'm the exact opposite, lol!
  5. That's it. I'm done and it's on. Gwyneth went out of her way to make that mug for her father the same way a fourth grader would make a cigarette ashtray for their mom on Mother's Day and she doesn't even smoke. Game on. #TeamGwyneth
  6. God, I hated that wedding dress and still do, lol! It reminds me of the time when I was always in charge of pep rallies, and for my class, I would make banners and paper chains, lol! 🤣 We got the spirit, yes we do! We got the spirit, how about you?
  7. I don't watch ABC shows, but now, you are guilty of me downloading the series. VPN, check. Hahaha!
  8. I thought Will/Noah had some potential and I'm glad that there wasn't this "insta-pairing" like Days of Our Lives like Decaf Taster's Choice. But, god damn. They were always getting interrupted, lol! Yeah, I really like Conrad Ricamora. OMG. He so reminds me of my friend Mike except Mike was straight, but we didn't look at sexuality and how sexuality should define who we are as human beings. In fact, one's sexual orientation, creed, gender, ethnicity, class, etc. is only a small part of who we are as we're all made up into many things collectively as we're all a part of the human race. I miss my Mikey! I want to see more of Conrad Ricamora so bad! 😀

I heart Julia Garner and loved her as Ruth on Ozark. Now, that I just watched the video clip, she does resemble Madonna in ways. I also watched her interview with Jimmy Fallon, so it seems she'll be writing and directing the autobiography movie herself? And from just watching the Andy Cohen interview again, Madonna follows Julia Garner on Instagram which was "hard to come by", according to Cohen. Yeah, I would love to see Julia Garner again. The scene when she discovers what she discovers in Season 4 and confronts Marty and Wendy. Oooooooh! Child! That girl blew me away in that scene.
  10. You call spinach and feta cheese served in a McFlurry cup a fine dining experience? 😆 No, I'm just kidding. Okay, so now I get why Leo was at the Dimera mansion. On Monday's episode (6/6), it felt like he was about to leave the front door, but it seems like he spent the night in the wine cellar instead. Although I know that the wine cellar set is not the same set when Queen Kristen stashed MarDevil in the secret room, it sure did give me a lot of fond memories. Speaking of cheeseburgers, I remembered the time when Queen Kristen was kind enough to give MarDevil a cheeseburger and fries in a paper bag like the dog that she is. Of course, MarDevil was unappreciative and bitched about it to which Queen Kristen replied, "I gotta keep you all fat-n-sassy! Stefano's got big plans for you!" God, I miss my Queen. Sigh. Such good memories. Going back to Leo and the wine cellar, this remark was priceless considering Abigail and Chad are trying to have another baby: Leo (to Thomas) : "I could lock you up down here and your parents probably wouldn't even notice for months, or years for all the attention they pay." But, Leo's "Enemies List" in that notebook is a little over-the-top. Please. You can easily memorize these 6 people in the back of your head. I mean, it's not like he's going to the Geneva Conference or anything: Chad Abigail Brady Chloe Sonny Will Whoa! That's a lot of people. I really hope that Leo Stark is able to remember them. The rest of the episode I guess was tolerable and fun for other viewers. I'm not a couple fanatic and never have been. I'm a bad girl fanatic. As far as Belle and E.J., why can't two people just be friends and just leave it that way? I swear to God the cast of characters is kinda like Grindr. A big incestuous cesspool of people having other people's sloppy seconds. But, that's just me.
  11. For the movie, I didn't mind it. There were parts that were cute, but I also kind of feel like there were too many characters all scrammed into one. It was difficult for me to follow on who was who. However, I did like how the movie kept up with current issues in the LGBTQ community (e.g., Only Fans, racial stigma, drug/substance use). There were a couple of scenes that kind of fell flat, but I enjoyed the diversity of the cast. As far as the characters: Noah: I completely understood his character and where he was coming from. Howie: I think I understood his insecurities, but the movie was so focused on Noah that made Howie step into the shadow. Will: OMG. He reminds me of a friend of mine Mike. His physique, bone structure, and voice were spot on like Mike's. Does Will go to raves? Hahaha! Mike and I did that all the time. I liked the dynamic between Noah and Will and it left you feeling like something could develop between the two? I liked Will. His layers peeled off throughout the movie and I enjoyed witnessing that. Charlie: Poorly executed. His character could have been written better. I mean, a LOT better. The only thing I remember about him is Lyme Disease. Cooper: Regina George from Mean Girls. I didn't understand his character until the bathroom scene with Noah. But, I couldn't figure out as to why he kept interrupting Noah/Will but didn't he interrupt Howie and Charlie too? I thought his reasonings were mainly because he thought Noah and his friends were nothing but trash. Erin: She was cute and I know she wasn't written to be a degenerative type or anything, but you're as young as you feel. I get that she's older and has more life experiences, but I wish she was around more instead of hosting a party, cooking food, or passing a note from Will to Noah. Luke, Keegan, and Max: Want to talk about a waste of time? These three. Enough said. All in all, it wasn't bad. Too much scramming to fit into one movie in my opinion. But, I did like how they kept up with current issues and there were some really funny moments. On the other hand, if they trimmed the cast, I probably would have liked it a lot better. Conrad Ricamora? I like this guy. I want to see more of his talent for sure. 😀
  12. Yep. These midterms are going to be very interesting to see how voters across the country are going to vote and the issue(s) that mean the most to them and why they want their vote to matter. From a macro-perspective, is it: Gun Reform Inflation/Economy Abortion Since we do live in an individualistic culture, we have this "me! me! me!" mentality. Therefore, I see a lot of voters turning up because of the inflation issues and how the state of the economy is effecting their financial pockets. Then again, I feel like the other two issues will release the hornets nest. Or will it? Are people so stuck on themselves that inflation will be the major issue that surpasses their thoughts on gun reform and reproductive rights? These midterms are going to be very interesting in my opinion.
  13. Here's a "Gimmie The Buzz" Promo for GL. For some reason, it strangely reminds me of Pee-Wee's Playhouse and Saved by the Bell at the same time. Who's the guy who always did those promos? Was his name Clarence? I remember my hometown's radio station used to play his short Y&R recaps.
  14. Faves: DAYS: Shawn, Belle, Mimi, Jan, Chloe, Philip GL: Dinah, Harley, Dylan, Samantha, Alan-Michael GL: Michelle, Danny, Jesse, Drew SuBeach: Tiffany Thorne, Sean Richards, Mark Wolper Worst: GL: Daisy, Caitlin, Rafe, Zach, Grady
  15. The only CBS daytime promo that sticks to mind was the "Gimme The Buzz" promos where the models were in neon clothes, wigs, and lipstick. Which CBS daytime promo was it where all the CBS daytime soaps kept using that one phrase over and over? It wasn't: "Over my dead body!" God, what was it?????? OH! I remember! "Try Me!"
  16. Oh, really? I was just going by the options given and went with the flow. I don't know why I'm leaning more towards the DAYS speculation, but even I read that Twitter outburst and just found the whole thing stupid and completely unnecessary. Yeah, I get that ONE BOSS signs his checks. Duh. That's a no-brainer. But, viewers always have their say in the end. They always do. My advice to Ron is to write it, roll it, and stick it in his ear. I don't mean that in a bad way either. But, if Dena Higley came back? Oh my God. Since Ken Corday seems to act like Victor Kiriakis these days by throwing Titan to anyone who has a pulse, maybe Ken's throwing the headwriter bone to David Kreizman instead. 😆 No, the GL/ATWT streaming one would rock my world for sure. No, my family knows I love my Guiding Light. It broke my heart when I heard about it on March 31, 2009. But, when I saw the character of Daisy talking to someone next to a port-o-potty, I knew it was time to pull the plug.
  17. Hmmm. The Bold and Beautiful one still reads like the event is most likely to occur at some given point, so viewers should just hold on to their patient panties. If DAYS decides to bring back Dena Higley, I'll be shocked and say peace out. Why I watch DAYS now is worth getting a psychiatric evaluation, but secretly, I get so geeked out watching a train wreck. But Dena? No. Hell no. I'm not going through that mess a third time. They always say that three times a charm, but don't give into it. I don't watch GH so I wouldn't care about any of that. Y&R? Don't watch. Streaming seems to be how we're evolving instead of watching television shows 'LIVE'. Society likes things at their own leisure and cable companies know that. HBOMax, Hulu, Paramount + have also changed their game recently going against up Goliath Netflix. Hmmm. Hulu/Disney+/ESPN/ABC is an all-in-one streaming haven on Hulu. I can see an AMC/OLTL reboot. I would DIE if the last one were true. OMG. My mom and I were talking on the phone a couple of days ago, and she was telling me how much she loves watching old television shows that she grew up watching like Perry Mason. She laughed when I reminded her how much she loved Michael Zaslow (ex-Roger Thorpe; GL). Seriously. She crushed on him so hard it was pathetic but fun to witness in person. To wrap it up, I think: A new headwriter at DAYS will more than likely happen. I don't know if that Twitter outburst of Ron's did any damage, so I can't say. Would it shock me? No. If they brought back Dena Higley? Yes. An AMC/OLTL reboot could possibly happen. ATWT/GL on third party streaming service would more than likely not happen even though this would shock the hell out of me plus infinity. The B&B, GH, or Y&R ones don't really read as having a profound effect, but that's just me.
  18. They still do that? Fans merge two characters together and start a fictional fan club? Where? Like Facebook groups? Do people win prizes?
  19. Yeah, I just don't pay attention to her for the most part. I mean, why should I invest in such a crappy storyline anyway when she's just going to be around for like what? A month or two? Truthfully, hearing Martha Madison shout, "JAN (pause) SPEARS!" does make me cackle. Such a little drama queen and I live for it. ETA: Wait. You just testified in front of us @AbcNbc247 that some of us are going to enjoy today's show. You just testified and I have you in a quote box! Johnny and Allie haven't had their extra crispy French fries yet. Is the word mayonnaise brought up into conversation?
  20. I wonder if that's the director's cut version I have. Ew. No, this file is 720p resolution. Oh! Sherry Stringfield is in this movie too! Yeah, I'm on the hunt for the director's cut version! Thanks for that info!
  21. Oh, for sure. Not that I take critic ratings into too much consideration (after all, I LOVED '54' and the critics really hated it), but when I upload these things to my PLEX, PLEX then generates the file information through IMBd, etc. and it looks like this. I am preferential on video resolution and audio and the only thing I do is convert files to HEVC mkv or mp4 for better picture quality. But, Rotten Tomatoes gives this movie 93%.
  22. I downloaded it, but I haven't watched it yet. I did, however, watch this interview with Joel Kim Booster on Stephen Colbert:
