  2. Welcome to the SON board, @SoapAnon and @FancyShoes! I wanted to give a shoutout. 😃
  3. Yeah, Roman needs to focus on employee turnover rate and food/liqour inventory. I wonder if he fired the bartender upon his discovery that a bottle of cheap tequila had wound up missing, and now, he's back to making New England Clam Chowder for his patrons. 😆
  4. Yeah, to me, the character of Jackie was a very relatable character. I still watch 'The Conners', but it's missing something. It's missing a leading actress and Sara Gilbert (as much as I like her) ain't it. Jackie used to be a cool aunt, and in a way, she kind of guided Roseanne's kids to a certain extent. Instead, it's like Roseanne's kids look at her as a dope. That's not who Jackie was, or at least, that's not how I remember her. I think I started "tuning out" of Roseanne when they all went to Disneyworld. I think post-trip Disneyworld, I wasn't as invested in the show. As far as the 'The Conners', I like their take on current social issues, but sometimes, it's too much to cram into a 30-minute comedy. And I don't like how everything is about Darlene. Do I want Roseanne Barr back? No. That woman is absolutely insane in the membrane. Has nothing to do with politics at all. It's all about being a decent human being.
  5. I miss the cool character of Jackie. I forgot which season she started acting all "bafoony". I was hoping we'd get the ol' Jackie back for the reprisal, but nope. Then there was an episode where Jackie was imitating herself to be a bird to get some whipped cream. Oy!

  7. Hahahaha! YAASSSSS! Remember when Bill brought Li to his home after she looked like the woman from Dances with Wolves? I swear, it with alley this and alley that. Alley, alley, alley! Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
  8. Somebody, protect the Children! God, please! Protect the Children!
  9. No, I watched all seasons of GoT, so I wouldn't mind re-watching it. I mean, he was on for 6 seasons. This character, on the other hand, was his first and last appearance. I would say he had a whole 8 to 10 minutes on the show. Yep, he just thought blackmail and threats can get you far in life, and well, he was in for a rude awakening.
  10. I'll have to check in on that character. I cannot seem to picture him although this link somewhat helps me. Sort of, lol! https://gameofthrones.fandom.com/wiki/Loras_Tyrell (in case one gets suspicious that the above link is spam 😄)
  11. Spill it then.
  12. I saw an article on that and it was from Esquire or something. I honestly did not feel that it was anything that had to do with a character's sexual orientation, but it was because that character was too busy flappin' that mouth of his. Yes, it was brutal, and sadly, actions come with consequences - the good and the bad.
  13. I don't get starstruck that much. Outside soaps, I had to deal with two stars from Empire. They shot on location at my former workplace when I was in grad school and the whole thing annoyed me to no end because I needed to study. From 8 to 11 p.m. was my down time and Terrence Howard and Taye Diggs were attention-seeking whores as they kept interrupting me while I was minding my own business. Phylicia Rashad was suprisingly okay. She just kept sleeping on the chair. For a soap star? Probably Eileen Davidson and Cynthia Watros. Cynthia's really sweet. She knows I'm an Annie Dutton lover and a Reva Shayne hater. Although astrology is a pseudo-science, we're both Virgos. That said, we'd be like best friends. 🥰

  16. Oh, goodness. I'm actually starting to watch this show. Should I watch? 😆 Right now, I'm kind of overwhelmed with all the characters and it seems like the last time I had General Hospital on, it was mainly served as background noise while doing computer work. I do recall a murder mystery though as it was revolving around the Quartermaine's or something? And now, there's another slasher giving off these I Know What You Did Last Summer vibes. But, I'm trying to give it a whirl. Which characters would I like?
  17. Elise Jordan: DeSantis' Migrant Flights Are Just 'So Damn Wasteful' Something set Elise Jordan off @6:55. But, I am disappointed that they didn't show Mika looking straight at the camera saying (to DeSantis if he were actually watching) , "You think you're funny? You think you're real cool?" Mika and Elise were both great on Morning Joe today.
  18. LOL! Goodness. 😁 I DO want to clarify that I'm not hot and bothered about Thompson's statement he made for that newspaper, but it does bug me. Although I'm sure it was intended to be humorous, but to me, it comes across as classist. I think that is a very unfair assessment to make, and in a way, it feels intentional and deliberately meant to poke fun of groups of people. It's like someone coming into your home and saying: "Well, surely you live on government assistance. It's just two bucks a month. You can easily afford that, right? Two bucks?" Cause let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to excuse myself for about ten seconds, go to my nearest closet, and I'm gonna grab myself a baseball bat. I'm going to sit down in my seat with full composure and I'm going to apologize as I'm a little hard of hearing. And I'm going to ask this person if they would care to repeat themselves. Comments like the one Thompson made for the L.A. Times is just plain rude, crude, and inconsiderate. And extremely out of touch. Maybe I am hot and bothered.
  19. Whatever. He could be a methhead, lol! Statements like that rub me off wrong. I'm not uber-pissed or anything, but this is not the first time I've read about DAYS viewers. Either they're cigarette smokers or they're Starbucks Caramel latte drinkers. To me, it's extremely unfair to make such generalizations about an audience as a whole. Thompson sounds like a douche.
  20. Who? No, this guy was named Thompson. I don't follow soap stars or celebrities on social media as I don't care what they do. I want to know more about Thompson.
  21. It's just a terrible stereotype and analogy. People should never be in a position to assume other people's finances and what they do with their finances. Or lack, thereof. Lastly, it's none of their business. I don't give a damn if Peacock is $1.99 a month for the first year. Statements like that in L.A. Times comes across as stuck-up, condescending, and completely unnecessary.
  22. LOL! So, I guess people who watch DAYS smoke Marlboro's or Newport 100's? See? This is the sh*t right here about people's assumptions based on nothing to back it up with. I want to see statistics here. Thompson can't back up his sh*t.
