  1. Part X (the finale): http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-10.html
  2. They're giving Michelle more family? TPTB are determined to make this character stick when the general consensus on her has been the same since her inception--no one cares for her at all.

  5. I was just wondering b/c my mom's friend was a long-time AW friend and I used to pick her brain of what little she can remember of the show from the 70s. I remember her being huge on Clarice/Robert and Robert/Lenore pairing too. When I asked her about Larry, she expressed that she couldn't stand the character or the Ewings at all. She didn't like any of them. She felt too many decent characters (like her fave, Cecile) was sacrificed for them. But from my own observation, Larry just gives me vibes of today's sanctimonious leading men like: B&B's Liam, Y&R's Nick, GH's Dante, or DOOL's Daniel--the macho man that is supposed to be righteous and moral but really a chauvinistic dick.
  6. I've been watching 1980 episodes of AW. One of the episodes was about the return of Robert (Delaney) and Clarice and Larry having issues over it because of Cory being Robert's. I didn't know that Robert was married to Olivia's mother, Olivia. Did this lead to her introduction on the canvas? What was everyone's thoughts on Larry Ewing? For some reason, he gave me Joe Carlino teas. Just bossy and righteous one second and insecure and whining the next. Was he well-received by the audience?

  8. Part VI: http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-6.html
  9. I'd only want Mariah and maybe Simone from M2M. Those are the only two I could see assimilating into the cast well. Especially Mariah seeing as they have mutual friends (Nene) but don't like each other. While Quad and Heavenly seem like they'd mesh well in this environment on paper, I think they'd flop quickly.
  10. I think that with this supposed altercation that occurred at the reunion between Luann and Carole, that'll give her some purpose next season. Plus, I see her becoming Bethenny's pet if she stays. With Claudia, I am glad that she is dating, thus giving her purpose next season. It would be nice though to see Kenya and Porsha (who is rumored to be back full-time next season too) do the same. Or at least be doing something business-wise. The pot-stirring crap that has occurred the past three seasons is not going work next season. I think that the audience is over the petty drama between these women.
  11. Yay at Claudia being brought back! I feel like most new housewives (minus Meghan on RHOC b/c that bitch needs to go after this season) should be given at least a second season seeing as Porsha's floppy ass got two seasons. And I am fine with Heather going. I hope she takes Kristen with her too. Carole can stay for now because I wanna see how she'll do without Heather being there to be her meat shield. But with Heather going, it is time to bring out the big guns and bring Jill Zarin's messy ass back.
  12. Part V: http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-5.html
  13. Nola and Vanessa's tiff these past few episodes have been hilarious. I loved how Quint and Nola had their little spat and make up in the kitchen too. Seeing how sexy Quint is, I would melt like butter too if I was Nola. I don't even think I'd put up a fight. What are some of you long-term fans thoughts on Warren? From reading his backstory, he seemed interesting up until the Paul Valere murder mystery. He seemed like a lite version of Roger. But after Lesley-Anne's overdose did everyone find out that she and Warren were having an affair, hence the breakup of she and Floyd? And boy did Bradley slap the taste out of Beth's mouth. I knew Lillian was a sap but I didn't know she was that spineless. Sad because I love Tina Sloan as an actress but Lillian never really grew a backbone. From the time I watched, she still was a meek, mousy sap with no luck. Somewhat makes me understand why Beth later on in life started going for what she wanted.

  15. You're welcome! I'm glad I've somewhat stumbled upon it. Unlike anything on I've come across on The Secret Storm in the past, this is more in-depth on the show's history. Part IV is going to post on Wed. I hope that WLS does this with other soaps from the past too.
  16. WeLoveSoaps have been doing an in-depth breakdown on The Secret Storm the past few days: http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-1.html http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-2.html http://www.welovesoaps.net/2015/07/remembering-woodbridge-the-secret-storm-3.html
