  1. The episode after the infamous Brock/Emily tango: OK. I am trying to figure out what is going on with Cal. He is all over the place. One episode, he's hugged up with Lisa. Next he's flirting with Susan and Ellen. Then he's kissing Emma. He is a real tumbleweed. Was Cal supposed to be an older playboy/lothario or did Marland not know where to go with him? But I do enjoy watching Emma do something more than standing in that kitchen fixing meals. I love seeing her have a life (and love interest) outside of the farm and her kids. Also, was Jared starting to form feelings for Emma too? Jesus, I need to dig deep online to find episodes to fill in the gaps. It's killing me!!!! Brock and Emily were HOT. Like smoking. P&G should've given Greg Beecroft and Melanie Smith the world remain in this role and in this pairing. Don't know if Marland intentionally meant to kill Brock but if so, he shouldn't've. Greg and Melanie had that draw that could've worked wonders. While on the subject of Greg Beecroft, why didn't another soap snag him after GH. I feel like he has a presence that is missing in daytime. Whether as Tony or Brock, he just exuded masculinity in his roles. But there was some underlying softness to his characters when they were paired with the right people. Gosh! This man is so sexy! Someone needs to woo him back on TV. I bet he is still a sexpot despite him being a little more seasoned now. (SN: I didn't know he had an equally hot brother, David, who acted in soaps throughout the 80s too. I need to look him up on his time on OLTL too.) And Brock bidding on the line that Emily wanted and pissing her off was hilarious. But I bet he gives her the wardrobe as a gift to woo her. Loved the exchange between Lisa and Ellen. At any time, Lisa could make a situation about her, and make a dig at Ellen. But deep down, Lisa was telling Ellen some truth.... Poor Caleb. I felt so bad for him. That hunk of a man is one who should not be denied what he wants. Lily is a moron for not hooking up with Caleb. I don't know how many times I can say that. Ain't no way I would've settled for Derek over Caleb. But Lily's always been a dumb a** to me so.... (SN: I guess it's getting near the end of MB's time on the show. Hope I get to see HR's debut as Lily on the show) So I guess we also saw in this episode the beginning of Lien/Duke impending romance and the early stages of Andy/Julie friendship. We are also seeing the early stages of the demise of Lucinda/John's marriage. Was their demise over Julie? Over Duke? Or over Lucinda blackmailing Babs previous weeks over Adam? Or was it a melange of things?
  2. Only thing I can take out of Ash's exit is that Laurel/Charlotte Bellamy will be able to shine once again. Poor Laurel is going to probably tilt the bottle back even more now.
  3. Ryan Hawley is infectious and a godsend to Emmerdale. I just hate, who they chose to be his shooter. But he truly is one of the bright spots of Emmerdale. I know. Just sad....
  4. Shocking casting news:
  5. Sad but true. And I don't see him investing in Denise at all in the near future. If he had his choice, I think that DTC would wipe the entire Truman/Fox clan off the entire Square.
  6. *sighs* Why make Denise scold Kathy when she already has Jane and Sharon on her ass? I agree that DTC hates Denise. I won't be surprised when we hear that Diane Parrish has been let go....
  7. RHONY's Kristen told Brandi [Glanville of RHOBH], who announced this on her recent podcast, that Kristen claims one of her co-stars had visible coke residue on her during film.... http://www.realitytea.com/2015/10/20/brandi-glanville-says-kristen-taekman-revealed-one-real-housewives-new-york-co-stars-visual-cocaine-residue-filming/ Regardless if true or not, Kristen's dumb ass is about to become a liability and untrustworthy with her co-stars thanks to loudmouth, unemployed Brandi. Minus Carole, the other five (Bethenny, Dorinda, Ramona, Sonja, Luann) are going to have a field day pouncing all over her trampoline ass come next season if she is on. Do you all believe it? If so, who do you all think the culprit Kristen was talking about?
  8. But she is a lapdog despite her constantly denying. She displayed it twice last night. She didn't wait five seconds after getting that invite from Magali until she went back & told Tanya, who told everyone about it. She didn't wait five seconds until after Ampika told her, her feelings towards Dawn, Nick, and Royston before Leanne swore in her confessional that she needed to tell Dawn (her master) what was said. She can shout at the top of the rooftops that she ain't a lapdog, but she is. I truly hope that a reunion occurs this season and Leanne is put in the hot seat. I also hope that Magali reneges and disinvites Leanne and gives her invite to Dawn. Betcha Dawn will go in a hot second. And I hate how these women are putting a stipulation on Magali's wedding that they all must go or no one will go. I loved that Ampika told them all to STFU and it's Magali's wedding and she'll do what she wants. I love that I have you two to talk about Cheshire with! This season, this show is so good. It just gives me old school housewives teas.
  9. RHOC: The reunion was boring. I didn't feel bad when Tamra did her normal crying number. I thought most of the stuff was filler sh-t. I was proud that Vicki kept her composure throughout the reunion. It was obvious that these ladies were ready to pounce of Vicki b/c they were getting pissed over simple comments she made in the past like her saying housewives and money (which Tamra agreed with). I thought it was obvious how Gretchen and Alexis stayed the topic of discussion. Bravo just needs to bring both ladies back. The highlight of the night was Alexis' email though. She knocked the wind out of Tamra and it was delicious! And I tweeted Gretchen on Twitter and got her started on Tamra, so that's plus too! RHOCheshire: Tonight was hilarious. I loved Ampika digging into Dawn's ass. No one can get to Dawn like Ampika. Ampika killed me when she got Royston and Nick together too. It was so obvious that Dawn brought them there to rile up Ampika (and get camera time) and sit back and watch. Magali and her family are gorgeous. I loved watching her help pick her sons and hubby's suits for the vow renewal. I did think when Magali was with Ampika and Lauren shopping for her dress that Lauren was a bit savage! But I do like that Lauren stays honest despite her being uncouth and harsh at times. I'm conflicted when it comes to Magali given Lapdog a wedding invite. Was b/c of her hubby Wes and Dean possibly being friends? Was it because Magali genuinely wants to be friends with Leanne? Or was it a simple mindf-ck from Magali? I think Magali might be trying to mindf-ck Dawn....
  10. I was confused about Cal too. B/c the previous episode we watched, he was snuggled up with Emma. So what happened within a week's time? Oh well. I guess Cal thought it was enough of him to spread his love around for everyone. And SOC states on Margo's profile that HBS left in November or December or '89, so we supposedly have more time with her. But a part of me is becoming upset over her nearing the end of her time on ATWT. Yes, I loved ED as Margo, but again, she became hardened and a harridan by the end of the show's run. And Oakdale was popping in that episode. I loved how everyone was out on the town and it wasn't for the big, cliche sweeps story. It was the total opposite. It was a bump in the road for the real reveal--Adam's paternity. I can't wait to see the fallout. I'm glad to hear that Susan took something serious and was honorable in some aspect of her life b/c she was all over the place when it came to love life. She really had no shame. No wonder why Allison and Emily were screw ups later on in life. re: Sal Stowers--she's already debuted on DAYS. We haven't seen much of her character except that she is a cop for Salem PD. That's it. I'm guessing we'll get more from her in due time.
  11. @DramatistDreamer, so true. B&B is the only one that somewhat holds my interest even though it annoys me too. I'm slowly weening myself back into DAYS But I know once the 50th anniversary wears off, the show will revert back to nothingness. I can already tell that thanks to the casting choices they are making. But I'll remain optimistic for now. And I enjoyed reading your assessment on everything as it is so true for many of the points you made. Especially the one you made about Tonio! We'd never have a smart, sexy, suave villain nowadays that possessed humanity. Instead, we get stuck with sociopaths and megalomaniacs, who lose their shine after so long. Oh and I think you'll enjoy more of Marie Masters/Melanie Smith in the episode I just recently watched. They are the perfect mother/daughter pairing. I'm sure poor Susan felt it was karma from all her past sins and hell she raised early on by having to deal with Emily on regular. On to the newest episode.... Gosh I am falling more in love with HBS' version of Margo. There's something so broken about her that you just cannot help but wanna fix. Her having that slight breakdown broke my heart. Just makes me hate how much hardened they'd make Margo in the long haul. One thing I appreciate about this episode is how it exemplified how smart all the women are: Kim and Emily for instance. Like Barbara, those two figured out that Adam was Hal's, which was so refreshing. I feel like female characters have become so dumbed down in soaps over the last decade. It was also hard watching Hal genuinely worry about Margo and Babs and Tom squirm because they knew the truth. This story is the perfect umbrella story. How a simple trope like an extramarital affair and love child slowly unreels into something that could be catastrophic and affect 90% of Oakdale. That's good storytelling. So weird seeing Charles Keating play a role other than Carl on Another World but he did have great chemistry with Liz Hubbard. But what was going on with John/Lucinda at this time? I need to go and find the previous week episode b/c I feel like a lot happened within that time. Ugh! These classic episodes are making me miss my Oakdale citizens all over again. I seriously feel like crying b/c it's so good....
  12. The Montega arc is something I think would be so HOT right now. With freelance journalists and Americans being abducted and held as political prisoners or assassinated would so strike a nerve with today's audience. It definitely is with me. Kim and John's exchange was EVERYTHING. I do think that it was rude of Kim to be so dry towards Duke. But I do agree with Duke that John still had feelings for Kim, one of the original women to get away from him. Seeing the closeness with Margo and Craig in this episode saddened me as we all know how it'd go. Margo would go from being his biggest supporter to biggest basher, and Craig would go from being lovable to a megalomaniac. I thought it was hilarious how Lyla, Emily, and Margo charged in Craig's office after Emily stirred the pot implying that Ellie would encourage Craig to search for Sierra. Despite all the heinous things that Tonio has done, it was refreshing to see him say nice things about Sierra. I love how Marland truly gives even the most vile characters an Achilles heel. And Peter Boynton/Tonio does have a natural sexiness about him. When he forced a kiss on Emily and had that smirk on his face afterwards, that was hot. No wonder the women stayed jumping his bones. Speaking of hot men, I don't get how Lily didn't choose Caleb over Holden. Yeah, Holden is super sexy but it is something just rugged and down to Earth about Caleb that drives me wild. If I was Lily, I'd pack up and go to Waco in a hurry. at Duke/Caleb over Lily. She always had all the hot men fighting over her.... Uh oh at Emily figuring out that Adam is Hal's. This can only spell trouble....
  13. Meh. I'd hate that seeing as Kim and Denise already did this song and dance already. Such a shame that they can't find one thing for Diane to do.
  14. Ugh! Why?! I like Ricky Norwood/Fatboy! I feel like Dot is gonna be so isolated now. Yeah, she has Abi but she really don't need her since Cora is around. Fatboy was her surrogate son in a sense--the one she could actually be proud of unlike Nick. I pray that they don't kill him off. I think that Dot has suffered enough grief in the past 2 years. But again, I hate they never did anything with him. I wish that they would've brought back the Olubumni clan (Mercy/Faith/Grace) and reunited Fatboy and Mercy. I actually thought they were cute together. Or even put him back with Denise. Yeah, the pairing wasn't my favorite but it at least gave both of them something to do. With all these people leaving EE within the past year and half, I am scared that the next one to get the boot is Denise. If that occurs, I am going to be SUPER pissed.
  15. I am so glad that I have someone to watch and comment on these great episodes with. As I've said before, these episodes have been filling the void that the current 4 soaps have left. It is refreshing to watch a soap again where you care and like all of the characters. Even heinous characters like Tonio and James. And now I am excited to see Duke integrate into the canvas even more thanks to you! I just find him to be refreshing and hilarious.
  16. I am cracking up over that exchange. How the hell did Raven not see that read coming? I thought her ass was psychic? Now you know something is wrong when I am applauding Ann Coulter.
  17. So funny that Emily is trying to get Tonio to get info on Brock seeing as she'd eventually fall for him. But the unspoken tension between Ellie and Emily was funny. You can feel how both of them wanted to flog one another. Did Ellie's dislike for Emily derive over Emily messing with Tonio while married to Meg? Lucinda is such an elitist twat in this episode despite my love for her. Glad to see that Lily had some compassion and John saw potential in him. But Lucinda's one redeeming quality was her undying love for her daughters, which was demonstrated in this episode. at Duke trying to come onto Lily and her reaction. Duke is such a sleaze, which solidifies that he is totally John's son. And Duke calling Lucinda, "Lucy." Duke is a hoot. I wish they could've brought him back. Uh oh at Bob sending Andy to John, not knowing that Duke is his son. I love Margo too and understand her being jarred by Duke's new son, but she should get over it. And I don't get why Andy reacted so harshly too. Especially over John having an affair. Does he not know his father's history? Affairs were in John's wheelhouse. John spreading his seed about should be expected. Susan definitely has a type. Kim's exes or her co-workers. Dan. Bob. John. Larry. Rick. I can't wait to see the next episode. I am assuming that John is gonna get chewed out by Kim. She was a way of making an entrance even though it was extremely dry. Was '89 the introduction of Mabel's White Hots? I always wondered if it and Al's Diners were the same place.... Poor Ellie. I just feel bad for her as the carpet is about to be pulled from underneath her. Once she breaks up with Craig, is that when she starts fooling with Kirk?
  18. B/c she probably did it all while the cameras were down. You know after last season, Tamra didn't want any heat on her this season.
  19. She might not've been in the forefront but I don't believe for one second she wasn't involved. I get this inkling feeling that Tamra was in the background pulling the strings and Meghan and Shannon, both being so stupid and emotional, fell for it and did Tamra's bidding.
  20. But y'all already know that Andy isn't gonna wanna get rid of Meghan. She provides drama. And I too think that this season of the OC was reminiscent of s4 of Beverly Hills when it was everyone against Vanderpump. I hope s11 of the OC results in the downfall of Tamra, Shannon, and Meghan much like s5 of BH was the downfall for Brandi and Kim. But I feel like the only way to do so is to either bring back Gretchen and Alexis as allies for Vicki and bump Lizzie up to full-time too as she still gets along with Vicki OR cast three new bad bitches that'll go after Tamra's clique. Regardless, we cannot have another season of Vicki being pounced on. That's if Vicki even bothers coming back because Tamra has officially let it be known today that she doesn't consider Vicki her friend either.
  21. Eww at Faye getting married. Ain't this like her fourth time? And I find it suspect that she got married short of a few weeks of the anniversary of OJ Simpson/Nicole Brown 20th anniversary special that was on A&E. My eyebrow will remain raised when it comes to anything involving Faye.
  22. That sh-t annoyed me. That's why I don't believe this newfound Tamra. She did that sh-t for show. If you're saved, there's no need in advertising it every second. That'd be like me wearing a shirt advertising that I'm black. It's obvious that I am.
  23. RHOC reunion: - I am not shocked that Meghan made Leanne's cancer about her. - Poor Vicki just seemed over it. - These women obsession with Vicki and her relationship with Brooks is sickening. - I cannot wait for the downfall of Shannon. It's coming....
  24. Now that you say it, I could see it with Julia and Mason. Both of them working for the law. Both of them having a dry sense of humor.
