Oh Lord. Seems like they cast the Slater family perfectly. They are messes offscreen and on. Guess it wasn't a stretch for them.

What were there biggest mistakes? Bell's said his biggest mistake was killing off Phillip III and well we saw how rectifying that turned out. Alden's was making Katherine and Jill mother and daughter(or was that Smith?) and while the twist was undone it eventually lead to bringing on Tucker McCall and shoving him down our throats for over three years. I didn't mind Tucker. They just didn't have a vision for him or they did but it quickly got tossed aside. It was obvious that he was coming on this show to be the newest corporate tycoon to go toe to toe with Jack & Victor and it was quickly tossed aside.

Oh wow. I didn't know that there was bad blood between Jessie and Elaine. Jessie must've been a hot mess her first run on EE b/c she stayed clashing with her costars. There are rumors she didn't or doesn't get along with Steve McFadden and that they rarely interact onscreen as a result. That he tried to campaign to not bring her back. And that at the end of her first stint she was only close to two people - Charlie Brooks and Shane Richie. Then there were claims that she slapped Hannah Waterman (Laura Beale) in the face at a Christmas party. Supposedly she's not so bad now though. I heard the Steve McFadden story but I did not hear about her slapping Hannah Waterman. Jesus, Jessie was all over the place.

I cannot with all the f-ckery that occurred tonight on RHOA. I can say that it was great to see Kenya be vindicated tonight. Everyone always want to call her messy but it was her instinct that got rid of a deranged nut. I am glad that Kandi has been profusely defending Kenya on Twitter tonight, divulging that Glen's reaction was way worse than what was shown onscreen. Also, there are people commenting that he was shooting gang signs when trying to attack the women. He's a thug. Not surprising seeing as he'd later get shot in TI's restaurant following that event. He has a history. He needs to be put down. As of tonight, I am DONE with Phaedra Parks. I will NEVER like that b-tch. Quote me on that. I could stand her before but I loathe her ass now. How she twisted her mouth and compared Glen/Kenya's situation to the countless people that lost their lives to corrupt police officers boggles my mind. That woman is TRASH. What happened tonight has nothing to do with race and has nothing to do with #BlackLivesMatter. I am at my wits end with Kim too. Had she not rushed out the house so quickly, she would've collected the full story too. But what p*sses me off with her is that she sat her ass right there and saw Glen get offensive with Kandi. She sat right there when Kandi nervously said that Glen was making her feel uncomfortable. She sat her ass right there when Glen started shouted at Kenya again near the jacuzzi. For her to just sweep all this under the rug made my blood boil. Kim can go after this season. Then we have Sheree, Shamea, and Porsha--all who tried to blame Kenya too. These tricks are on my sh-t list too. Yeah, they eased up once Kandi backed Kenya but they were all quick to blame Kenya w/o collecting the whole story. Cynthia.... I didn't appreciate her snapping on Kenya. It was not cute or necessary. Tammy is a grown ass woman and was clearly high as a kite. Glen ain't her damn nephew; he's clearly her pusher. Why wouldn't Elaine Lordan commit? Has she retired from acting? Plus, they need to just recast Zoe. No need and waiting for Michelle Ryan to come back. It's obvious she isn't.

Nikki and Victor fans would revolt. I'd die of laughter at first b/c it'd mean Victor being brokenhearted, but I'd later cry b/c the writers would have a field day with this and turn Nikki back onto the bottle for the 1000th time, which is so used to death. Plus, EB would probably have a heart attack over this story and wanna fight it tooth and nail.

Speaking of Brock, I wish the show would address the issue at hand and announce Brock passed like the portrayer. It could actually give Jill something to do, bring back some familiar faces (Mac, Lorie, Casey, Julia, etc.), and give the actor a proper sendoff even though it is about a year too late.

Well DTC is totally wrong. As I've said before, I'll take a nice, comfy P&G-esqe Christmas episode over everything. I don't need doom and gloom for a X-Mas episode. It's getting to the point on UK soaps where it is predictable that a stunt will occur on all four soaps during the Christmas specials. It takes away from the shows. TV (as a entire medium) has become too reliant on stunts. I'd so settle for seeing Ian and Kathy having a nice, pleasant reunion at the table over a car flipping in Square, a murder, a fire, a tram accident, a bus accident, a siege, etc. Same with the other soaps too. Just over the plot-driven Christmases.

I'm gonna die of laughter if they put Jay with Louise for the simple fact I said the pairing in jest. I hope the story is otherwise b/c poor Jay needs a good story. I damn sure don't care about Linda's rape. I'm ready for it to wrap up and for them to deliver their comeuppance to Dean already. Matt DiAngelo isn't a great actor but I like him and once enjoyed Dean (his first stint). I still get pissed over how they made him a rapist. They should've just brought back Chelsea for him and went from there.

Is he still at EE or is he back at Corrie? Last I heard, he was EP of Real Housewives of Cheshire. If so, that'll explain some things.

I think that already happened a few years ago... The "Americanized" element is why I didn't like Santer/DTC either - it felt too much like someone who watched the bad later seasons of Dallas too many times. And it's even worse now. I agree. EE started to emulate American soaps back around '06. I think the baby switch with Ronnie/Kat solidified it. I wouldn't even say they were copying Dallas. I'd say they were probably copying the ABC soaps all throughout the '00s. Someone over there has been studying AMC and OLTL (the horrible years) b/c it wreaks over there.

Eww. I didn't know they were that bad at DS. I don't find rape stories cute at all. That aside, I hope someone else isn't revived. They just revived Kathy. It needs to be another 5-10 years before they consider bringing someone back from the dead. I just crazy how Americanized EE is becoming as a soap. It used to be my escape soap from US soaps but not anymore. I find myself throwing it to the wayside along with the US soaps. I'm just waiting for the day that DS drops a scoop of DTC penning a story that'll have Shirley possessed by Satan and I will be too done.

You mean Danny Mitchell? Wasn't that Santer who created him? Do you think that the secret might be about him?

I'm praying this secret does not consist of an affair or secret child. I can't take it. I never understood how she wasted herself on Ian and Phil too but look at Melanie. She did the same damn thing back in the early 00s that boggled my mind too.
