EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I enjoyed Sharon and Kat. I thought their scene were cute together. I enjoyed Carmel and Denise bonding too. Tonight was a good night for female friendships. I skipped over Alfie/Phil. Both of them annoy me to no end. I was moved to tears when Charlie died and Kat told Stacey. Lacey and Jessie brought the house down. I actually enjoyed Stacey descent into madness. It was actually good. Martin got on my damn nerves tonight being rude to Kyle. I'm kind of ready for the rug to pulled from underneath his ass.

Two part episode. I'll comment once I watch them.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I really dislike the filming in front of the green screens. I think it started when some of the wives were living in less than glamorous circumstances on Atlanta and NYC. BH seems to still use their own homes. Vancouver and Melbourne always did (you can see the natural light change). OC appears to have switched to a green screen. It's obviously cheaper and it looks it. I think they do it b/c it costs money on the electric bill of the housewives to plug all the wattage (cameras, lights, etc.) into their house. I remember ATL housewives revolted over this around s2/3. I think it's cheaper just to use a green-screen and do it in a studio or rented space. You just know it was this one complaining: I do remember the article or blog declaring that it was Sheree and the so-called "rich b*tch" leading the charge. I think the only one that they said wasn't really complaining was Kandi and that was b/c she was new to the show.

I think the Masoods and the Foxes were the last great families to come onto the Square; however, DTC doesn't do them much justice. Especially, the Foxes. When it comes to the Slaters, I loved them too but this regime is starting to make me not care for them at all.

Charlie being weak is the main reason why I can't stand him. The only time I ever seen him possess some strength was when Kat revealed to him that his brother raped her, thus resulting in Zoe. I'm just over retcon history and deep, dark secrets with the Slater family. I'd prefer them to have a bright and happy year this year. Give them the comedic stuff. I'd rather divulge more into Denise and Kim's past. Masood's past. Kush and Carmel's past. Had they not f-cked up Sharon's return, I would've loved to have seen a backstory on her time abroad with Michelle. I would enjoy Vincent's backstory if it wasn't absurd and retconning the history of EE. I'm just over the Beales, Carters, Mitchells, and Slaters being in peril.

I thought the same thing too. We've only seen that child working in the pub since her arrival. Do they have child labor laws in the UK? I would imagine they would. It needs to be brought up. I thought Martin/Kathy's scene was stupid. Nothing about Bobby is similar to Ian and Pete. Neither of them were homicidal maniacs. I think that this was DTC's (and his writing staff) attempt to try and get the audience to accept and forget about what Bobby has done. I didn't do sh-t for me. I still want the evil little turd GONE. I only wish he'd take Jane and now Ian with him. I said it in an earlier post but I am growing to like Martin. I don't think it's James Bye anymore. It's the writing. Martin needs a spicy girl, hot girl to take him out his shell. He's been wasted on the dowdy Sonia and nutty Stacey. They need to bring on someone like Chelsea for him. With Lucas coming back into the fold somewhat, now is the time to bring her back. Jessie's face was looking rough but she still did OK in my book. It would've been OK if she could've moved her face but w/e.

It was rushed and I don't think that the setting would've changed anything. It was still rushed. I don't think he likes many of the characters on the canvas. If it ain't Ronnie, Phil, and the Carters, he doesn't care for them. Everyone else has been demolished under his reign, doing things they'd never do under a sane EP.

I am on the fence with Pete/Moira. I don't want any more affairs in the foreseeable future. If this is gonna happen, I'd prefer it be slow-burning for years. Gravitate them in each other's orbits from time to time to remind the audience of their chemistry and build them up as friends but nothing more. In about a year or two then pull the trigger. Now? Not so much. It's too much going on at the moment. I am glad that Anthony Quinlan is fleshing out more and more during his time on this show. This role has been a blessing b/c I didn't care for him on HO for the few times I've watched it.

I am over Stacey and her hysterics. Shoot a tranquilizer dart in her ass and move on. It's tiresome. Shabnam and Kush are the only saving graces in this affair/paternity secret. I hate how DTC has made Shabnam unable to have kids, but her reaction afterwards was well acted and crushing. You did really feel for her. I am glad that Kat's story got fleshed out more b/c it was clunky as hell the other day with the explanation of the other child being given up; however, I can do w/o Mo after this story. I never cared for her before but now that she's played a part in this, they can write this character off for good once Kat is reunited with her son. I thought the ending with Charlie folding over in pain was cheesy as hell but w/e. I've never cared for Charlie either but the sooner he's gone, the better.

I get more and more depressed as the clock ticks for Ashley to leave the village. It's gonna be so odd w/o him being there. Vanessa is such a tramp, but I am glad that this paternity crap is getting cleaned up. At least on Adam's behalf. I like him and Victoria together and this would provide them with a fresh start. It's time for Victoria to start popping out a new generation of Sugdens b/c I am over Andy breeding with that slag, Debbie, and Robert is too much of a free-spirit to be strapped with kids yet.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
EastEnders 5th January 2016 by onneega OK. Someone is seriously sniffing around the US soaps and starting to copy tired storylines they'd tell. Kat having twins and one being given away is so Vicky/Marley on AW. Kat's mom giving away her child didn't even make any sense when the nun tried explaining it. It makes no logical sense to keep Zoe but give Luke away because he was a boy. Either keep both or give both away. Or at least give one child to another family member. This story is not going to endear me to Kat. It's gonna make me wish they'd write her off as this is all they have to offer the character. On top of that, it does not help that in the same family, Stacey is learning she has a long lost brother via her dad. Straight overkill. Too much peril for one family. I would've preferred we explored Sharon's background with her brothers instead. Stacey didn't need another retcon to her backstory or another sibling. Her running around looking like an escapee from the nuthouse does not help either. The Slaters can officially join the Beales in the ruined family club thanks to DTC.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Hanna is damn annoying. Her self-righteous ass annoys me to no end.

What I am trying to figure out is why is Candace's dumb ass telling Jeffrey to sit and drink? Does this bitch not know blood traces will get all over the furniture?! She should be tossing his ass in the shower or hosing him down in the backyard. Oh Lord. Where the f*ck is Annalise when you need her?

Ben Hardy left on his own accord. He's about to be in one of the biggest movies of the Summer--X:Men Apocalypse. Hetti was fired and it was done for shock value. Killing off Lucy has been the start of the downfall of this show. IMO, they killed off the wrong twin. Lucy had so much story potential left. Peter did too but Lucy was more valuable than him. Yeah the whole storyline of killing Lucy has ruined so many characters, I don't even know if there will be recovery. I'm excited to see Ben as Angel, I do wonder if they'll recast Peter again o have Lauren and the baby return for good and have her and Peter separate? I'd prefer if Lauren, Peter, and the baby just stay off the canvas for years to come. Especially, Peter. I don't want him sucked back into the vortex of suck known as the Beales to become an apologist for Bobby alongside Ian and Jane.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread

She kills me when she refers to Phae's momma as the "Mucinex lady." I can't even look at Pastor Regina w/o thinking of Mucinex.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
It's OK for the heterosexuals to share significant others but we gays would never. I'm already subscribed to your channel and have been watching clips. IDK why they take down these channels when they help new fans fill in the past when it comes to the show.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@Cheap21, Lady Nyca has finally post a new recap for RHOA:- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I keep thinking the new producer will write out Finn. I hope not. He's the one who keeps me caring about the Bartons these days...and his relationship with Ross. They had the potential for a soapy, lively story with the Aaron and Robert affair. It's like they can't resist the misery even when it's detrimental. And with the new producer being from HO I'm worried they will go full Ste. Now you know the new producer from HO is gonna go full campy with this show. Given Robert/Aaron's past and the popularity of Brendon/Ste in the past, he might try and emulate the same story on here. I hope Finn isn't written out. He's one of the few characters I love on the show. I like him being the voice of reason; however, he needs a story out of his family. I loved his friendship with Val and wish they'd gravitate him towards either Diane or Eric to fill that void but whatever. Plus, he needs a lover. Finn is another one that needs to be penetrating (or getting penetrated) in the village.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
It was tedious for me to even get through this episode. About five minutes in, I wanted to turn it off and move on. EE has seriously become a vortex of suck. The weathered faced twins, Shirley and Buster, annoy me to no end. Why is Dean even entertaining them? Especially, when neither of them played a pivotal role in raising him. I wanted Dean to reach across the table and strangle Buster's funky, old ass when he tried to threaten him. Just a week ago, they were his biggest cheerleaders, knowing what he was capable of, but now they wanna punish him? Whatever. Stacey wh*ring around again is so tired and old, and for Kat to tell her come clean only makes it worse. Much like the Carters, I am over the Slater/Moon clan. I don't know what writer thought it was sensible to pen the same story Stacey had her last run. It's dumb. They only thing I find remotely good about Stacey as of late is this half brother, Kyle. He actually seems like he has potential. I don't mind the actor that portrays Martin and I don't think he's bad. I think it is material that is given to him. Much like all the characters on the canvas, he only gives one mood--angry/dissatisfied. Poor Martin needs a vibrant woman that isn't a constant screwup and mental case like Stacey and a nag like Sonia. I'd prefer they'd bring back Chelsea for him. I think they'd be a hot pairing. Why is Tamwar trying to get Nancy to convert? Are they even engaged? If not, Tamwar trying to pressure Nancy into converting is stupid. I just find the whole story stupid b/c I know tons of people that practice Islam and don't demand their spouses to convert. I feel like this story is something of the past. Vincent/Claudette v. The Mitchells is stupid. Doesn't this story mess up the show's canon as Eric and Den never knew each other? This story is reminding of me Guiding Light's Maryanne Caruthers story when they rewrote Josh, Alan, Buzz, and Ross' history for some stupid story. Or even before with Annabelle's backstory with her dad, Bill Bauer, HB Lewis, and Henry Chamberlain. Do people no longer use logic when they write? Are they that desperate to ensure their characters become part of the fabric of the show that they have to undo the canon of the show to do so? Ugh. Alfie and Ian.... I just FF'd through their scenes. I couldn't bear to watch these two together about to jump headfirst into another scheme/lie. Carmel was the highlight of the night for me. She is one of the very few characters that lights up the screen and brings light to the show. Thank God for her. - EastEnders: Discussion Thread
