  1. Chas and Gordon are cute together. Glad to see Chas be happy again; however, I am trying to figure out how Aaron figured out where they were. I thought he was following Paddy? Paddy is becoming grosser as the days pass. I don't like how he's allowing Pearl to take flack when she's innocent and Paddy is the actual culprit as to why he and Rhona cannot adopt. He's such a weasel. I get why Aaron is mad at him, but Aaron cannot talk. He was humping Robert, who was married to Chrissie at the time, not too long ago.... Watching Adam deal with the loss of losing Johnny is painful. I am impressed that his feelings for the baby isn't dropped (like US soaps would do). He's still set in father mode and it's cute to see Victoria stick by him through it. I understand Kirin's apprehension and insecurity with losing his spot as Johnny's dad, but I felt he was such a d-ck by cutting Adam off. I don't see this going over well in the long haul.
  2. @DRW50 I guess we were on the ball. By that gleam in Louise's eye when she saw Jay, we can assume that she is Jay's new storyline.
  3. OMG. Please take that back. Knowing those fools, they'd do it.
  4. I didn't mind them focusing on Emma, Paige, & Manny b/c they were originals, but I didn't appreciate how newer characters came on (e.g. Mia) and dominating the show while she got left with scraps. That pissed me off.
  5. I hope she is utilized better than Hazel and Liberty too. This show has not always treated black female characters the best. Typically, they are written as the best friend and I hate that. I loved Liberty, still can't believe it's been 9 years since JT died I loved Liberty too but they never gave her any good material until she got knocked up by JT and JT got killed. She was criminally underutilized.

  7. You're probably absolutely right, I just noticed that was slightly different. The only thing I found a little odd was the mom's quote about open communication vs. Kenya saying the mom would never speak to her. Either way, I do feel sorry for Kenya having to feel that pain. I may not like her, but I wouldn't wish that kind of hurt on anyone. Whether she's fudging the details or not, the bottom line is that she has no relationship with her mother and that's obviously a source of pain on some level for her, and that sucks. I sincerely hope she finds peace in that regard and can learn to simply value the love she DID have and move on from the loss. I know that's way easier said than done, but I hope she can achieve that. At the end of the day, that's a lot to carry around. She did acknowledge on Twitter awhile ago that her mother did reach out to her after she won Miss. USA but claims she felt it was disingenuous and she didn't reply out of bitterness on her part, and rightfully so. Why would Kenya reach out to her when her mom is only doing it (at that time) b/c she was at an all time high and getting a lot of exposure? It is gonna be hard for her to find peace but it has to be done. I think I am sympathetic with her b/c her story is somewhat similar to mine. Instead, mine is neglect from my father, who'd pop in and out and constantly play the victim when I'd call him out on him being absentee. It's taken me a long time to let it go but I feel like I am almost there. It does also make me hesitant to start new relationships with people b/c I will always question if I can trust and depend on them. Childhood neglect is a bitch....
  8. @Mr. Vixen But is there much of a difference in what she said (i.e. her parents giving her up)? She simply could've meant that her father wanted to give her up for the time being and got his mother to do so. Kenya's father has somewhat alluded that he didn't want to collect her until financially stable, which was when he moved the family to Texas.
  9. @All My Shadows Goldi is the Muslim girl, who is hardcore feminist. She's one character I cannot wait to see what they do with her. Her being Muslim and a feminist, two totally differently ideologies that clash, is gonna be interesting if done right. Lola is the one who was masturbating under the sheets and I cringed when that happened b/c it was like watching jailbait. Thank God, I felt relieved to know the actress is of age in real life but it still felt icky. That entire episode made me wanna gouge my eyes out. And I personally love Shay! She gives me Degrassi traditional lead ingenue vibes (i.e. Emma/Clare). She's smart, dorky but not too dorky, with a hinge of neurotic. I wanted to sock Lola for ruining the potential pairing that was Shay and Tiny; however, I think Shay has a potential suitor in her future, which I am all for (don't wanna spoil it if you haven't seen episode 10 yet).
  10. What?! Please don't tell me you like Karen and Charisse?
  11. I understood that but it was jarring as f-ck. I need Carlos and his team to exit after this season. The editing for this show has been pure sh-t since s5.
  12. 1. I've always felt Cynthia was flip-flopping as f-ck, but I did feel last season she FINALLY grew a backbone. Boy did she lose that b-tch real quick once Nene walked back in the door. 2. Kim should've let her oldest son hear the truth that the Congresswoman was spilling. Better for him to be exposed to the truth ahead of time rather than stumble upon it when it is too late. Kids are more resilient than folks give them credit for. 3. I don't ever recollect Kim declaring Glen was threatening. I just remember her blaming Kenya, who was not at fault. That man was a nut from the start. The fact that people still blame Kenya even after Kandi said she handled the situation correctly, boggles my mind. Are y'all drinking from the same well as the other women? 4. Not shocked that this was filmed post Jamaica. That's the main issue I have with RHOA is that they always place sh-t out of order like we don't catch it. This scene wasn't even necessary. They should've just had Nene debut in Jamaica and go from there.
  13. I think M2M: Houston probably won't air until around the time M2M returns. Bravo will probably want to pair the two together like they've done RHOP and RHOA.
  14. Exactly. All of what you said along with the impending arc of her husband being gay ... allegedly.
  15. RHOA: Aunt Lori.... I just don't find it cute for a family member to straddle the fence instead of helping solve the issue. By ignoring Kenya's feelings and yearning for wanting answers, she is making the situation worse. I hate when people just declare she should 'let it go.' Her wanting answers will constantly hang over her head till the day she dies. It makes total sense why she does not mesh with other women b/c the one woman she's supposed to trust betrayed her. I hope Kenya finds some peace. Porsha lusting after Sheree's son was gross. Doesn't matter that he's legal. That's your damn costar. Have some decorum, trash box. Phaedra was OK tonight but I still can't believe anything that she's does as genuine given all that we know and have seen. Her being at the Million Man March seems like a ploy to me. Again, why is Kim on this show? I swear she walks out every scene they have. It's tiring. Nene's return was cringeworthy. IMO, it's obvious she is using Cynthia to dismantle Kenya, and Cynthia is such a moron she does not see it. I thought it was pathetic to see Nene react to Cynthia declaring Kenya as her girl. For someone who claims they left and changed, I didn't see it tonight. Cynthia also pissed me off with her constant backtracking. Kenya's her girl one second until Nene frowns and she declares, "I'm still getting to know her." Whatever, bitch. Her flip-flopping is gonna come back on her ass in tenfold. None of the other women will want anything to do with her. Idiot. RHOP: Gizelle and Robyn are my girls. I can already tell it. Both of them are bubbly and not putting on fronts. What you see is what you get. I am not here for Katie and her 'white boy' obsession. Nothing wrong with dating interracial, (as I've done it) but I don't find it cute when someone fetishes a race while subtly deeming others inferior. She's gonna grate my nerves all season. Charisse is miserable. When she opened her mouth about her marriage and her husband being long distance, I knew she was doomed. Charisse's marriage won't make it and she'll pegged the bitter one of the group. Bravo really knows how to pick them. She continued to irk my nerves when she was spewing venom at Gizelle, who helped cooked her crabs. Gizelle is better than me. I would've dumped all that food out if I cooked it and then you scolded me afterwards for some stupid mess. Karen.... Oh Karen.... Too haughty and elitist for my taste. I found nothing wrong with women wanting to order when she was running 30+ mins late. You have 10 mins to be late with me and I am beginning to eat without you. F-ck waiting. I love food too much. Her fighting with Gizelle over a seat was so stupid. Like Gizelle said, anywhere you sit is the baddest if you got confidence. Sitting in the middle does not make a difference. I also didn't care for her referring to Gizelle's friend as 'the help.' That was not cute at all.
  16. Glad to hear. Grant was my favorite out of the Mitchell brothers. Can't wait to see his scenes opposite Letitia. I pray that don't revisit that mess between him and Jane. Yuck.
  17. Keep dreaming, boo. Keep dreaming....
  18. Emmerdale. It's the best out of the three at the moment.
  19. @cassadine1991, I love Tristan and Miles. I want them to be more than friends. I enjoyed their little romance. Tristan wasn't as uptight as Maya or nutty as Esme. Tristan is Miles best romance. I don't care for Esme. The actress doesn't impress me for one but I can overlook that. The character is just too nutty for me. My faves are: Zoe, Tristan, Miles, Shay, Jonah, Tiny, Grace, Zig, and now Frankie. I see potential in new characters, Goldie, Vijay, Yael, and Baaz. I think I might grow to like them all. Maya I go back and forth with. I like her some days. She days she annoys me. I don't care for (but don't hate) Hunter, Esme, and Winston. Hunter and Esme are too damn nutty. I haven't cared for Winston since he went after Zoe on the last season on Next Generation for Frankie.
  20. @cassadine1991 Yep. I am not surprised. Ever since they killed of Pat, Barbara Windsor has seemed like she was over the show and definitely wouldn't return after that. Plus, I doubt Ben will ever progress as a character. He'll blame the same couple of stories forever--the closet gay story, the murder story, or the angry son story. That is until a capable producer with capable writers are in charge again. Umm yes, Charlie Slater is dead. Have you not been watching?
  21. Peggy Mitchell news: http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/news/a780178/its-the-end-of-an-era-barbara-windsor-to-leave-eastenders-after-peggy-mitchells-heartbreaking-cancer-news/ Let the doom and gloom commence.... Phil is dying. Peggy is now dying. Fatboy & Charlie have died. Denny is laid up in the hospital. Talk about f-cking depressing. I guess DTC is trying to drive the sympathy card home for Phil, but again, I feel nothing. We've seen this many times before. Where's the damn comedy/light moments on this show? Jesus....
  22. Nothing has changed. I hate that they have Ben posing as straight. With all the mouth and grief Ben gives Phil, he should just accept his sexuality. One of the many absurd stories on EE. True but in the end, Zainab did find her spunk once she realized she and Masood wouldn't work. I wish Shabnam would do the same w/o having to leave the Square.
  23. She may take Kenya down a peg or two but she can never count Kenya out. She'll always bounce back, which unnerves all these women. They all can pounce on her but she'll come back grinning and bearing it. I think Cynthia is gonna be in the hot seat come reunion time with her constant flip-flopping. I can see everyone calling her out on it. They'll just call Kenya out on her usual messiness, which is pointless b/c Kenya is gonna do what she wanna do. I do hope that she tones it down in s9 and take a backseat and allow the other women to destroy each other b/c they will. This new alliance with Nene/Sheree/Cynthia will only last so long. Sheree will only play nice with Nene for so long before flipping her. Nene will once again screw over Cynthia (like she does all her other friends), but no one will want to have anything to do with Cynthia. Phaedra/Porsha's newfound alliance will flop too. Watch Phaedra gradually gravitate back towards Kandi. Nene (on WWHL) has already started to gravitate towards Porsha too via her comments about her. The tides always shift on RHOA, hence why unlike other housewife shows, they don't need to recast so much. The women can only stand to be friends for so long before flipping on each other. I still do wish that they'd give Marlo a peach for a season just to make Nene's head spin. Nene knows she can't handle Marlo much like Kenya, Kandi, or even Sheree.
