I agree. I am trying to prep for Ashley's demise as it is nearing, but I don't think I can. It's gonna be such a huge gap when he's gone.

I don't think that I can even accept the save money excuse as it wasn't like GL was suffering that much budget wise. Yeah, JFP was making room for Justin Deas, but she could've at least used that money (before debuting him) to woo back some of the Reardons for a week or 2 stint. I agree that by the time Nola came back in '95, it was moot to play the beat. I got that she was still mad at Ed (and should've been), but they should've played it from the start. All I needed was a few scenes of Tony, Chelsea, Nola, and Jim chewing into Ed, Bea bonding with Michelle, and the Reardons saying goodbye to Maureen (and the audience) as they'd become quite scarce (minus Bridget) until Matt and Nola would return. Killing off Maureen, a tentpole character, and at least not giving her a proper sendoff is sh-tty. But that's Jill. She gave Alan a crappy sendoff. I wasn't impressed with Katherine's sendoff (though it was b/c JC had passed for real) either.

True. I hope it doesn't ruin ways for us to get episodes here in the US.

Yes. Roxie not being there during Sarah's passing was jarring. If Kristi did retire, they still could've recast with a strong actress. Hell, they recast 90% of all the other roles on the show. Might as well had recast that one too. It would've been interesting to see how Roxie was doing and if she and Johnny were still going strong. But thinking of Sarah's funeral, I've always felt the same way about the Reardons not being shown during Maureen's funeral. It was so odd for them to mention that the Reardons decided to go to the boarding house instead of showing them. I would've loved to have seen some powerhouse scenes with them being divided on the issue of Ed causing Maureen's death. While GL was firing on all cylinders with that story, it could've been so much better to have Jim, Tony, Chelsea, and Nola chewing Ed out while Bea tries to calm matters.

@DRW50, most articles and synopsis I've seen have it spelled as Roxie. Speaking of Roxie, that's one of the many characters I never got why they didn't bring back. Especially, around the time Cassie came on the scene. It would've been interesting to see Roxie, Reva, Rusty, and Cassie all together for once. But then again, let me stop. The Reva/Cassie overkill was a lot from 95 to the end of the show.

I think I follow all of them. I better start saving the episodes. I wonder how much Britbox is gonna cost a month b/c if it is ridiculous, it will be overlooked by me.

Oops! Sorry about that. I hope they don't bar episodes on Youtube or DailyMotion either b/c I love watching classic episodes, which I am sure they won't post.

RHOBH: All I have to say is that the shade LVP tossed at Eileen tonight was lethal! That husband comment was low of Lisa but hilarious. Eileen brought it on herself though by trying to make something from last season into something major. Some that did bother me was Kyle. That bitch is sneaky and plays all sides of the fence. I hope her ass gets called out eventually. She's long overdue another dragging.

I'd be happy with a teen being addicted to drugs story over having a baby. Mind you, I don't mind teen pregnancy as it is an epidemic, but I hate it has been made a staple and some twisted right of passage of young girls on soaps. I didn't mind Gemma's pregnancy back in '13 b/c it ended fast. I'm not worried about the teens on here getting pregnant anytime soon. *knocks on wood* EastEnders, on the the other hand, I am.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I agree. That's one thing that I love is that teens are teens on this show. Speaking of teens, oh Gabby! She is a hot mess but she is a character that every person knows growing up or can relate to. One thing that I am loving too is that there are no teen pregnancy stories! Praise God! at you always saying Louise looks 30.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Trump nuts are idiots. How do we have any respect when a political party of ours whored itself out to a foreign power (and enemy) to secure an election? This has basically left us all vulnerable to Russia, who will hack again as the GOP gave them the OK to do so.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@Cat I am loving Mama Joyce this season too. Like I said earlier, she is the one person I can truly see going toe to toe with Phaedra and not give any f-cks about audience reaction. Nene, Sheree, and Kenya could all get in the alley too with Phaedra, but they have their limits as they know Andy adores her and will move Heaven and Earth to ensure her image is protect. Mama Joyce doesn't give a damn; she's unfiltered and raw. You just know that all the sketchy info Phaedra divulged to Kandi was reported back to Joyce. While Kandi has said in the past she won't spill secrets of an ex-friend, Mama Joyce will. Phaedra treaded lightly on WWHL but still threw ample shade at Kandi. She better believe that Joyce was watching and is ready to pounce with Nora and Bertha too.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She always has to find a way to spin everything into some current event. You think she would've learned after Glen Rice Jr. from last season not to do that. While we have issues in our community when it comes to police and the justice system, we (too) have our share of crazies and corrupt characters that need to be taken off the streets. I feel like Glen and this Drama dude most likely fit the latter. Phaedra pisses me off when she brings BLM into it b/c I feel like she bastardizes and dilutes our mission of getting people to realize that our Black lives matter too.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Phaedra was lying like a rug. Dude most likely didn't have a bomb, but his ass probably went in there acting unruly and saying crazy sh-t. If I am not mistaken, I think dude is still locked up. Another thing to highlight is, if dude is so innocent, why was it necessary for Phaedra to get protection for her own team? Phaedra is full of sh-t like she usually is.- Married to Medicine
Praise God for Mariah! If she weren't on this show, it'd be dry as f-ck. She's the only one bringing it this season. Lisa Nicole v. Heavenly is dry as f-ck. It is obvious that Heavenly is flipping on Lisa Nicole b/c she's a sinking a ship--a leper (with Mariah) amongst the women. I thought it was crass for Heavenly to take shots at Lisa Nicole's marriage when her marriage comes off no better on TV. Like Mariah said, what husband refers to his wife as 'buddy?' Speaking of Lisa, she seriously needs to drop this bandaid baby story. She looks f-cking crazy. Seriously. She does. Simone shading Mariah and not greeting her was foul. That's why I was ALL for Mariah tagging that ass in confessional when she referred to her as the Easter Bunny. Apparently, Mariah spoke truth as Simone has been a tirade on Twitter all night. Hit dogs will holler... Lastly, why is Mariah catching heat for not getting nude? Have these women taken into account that Mariah's husband is Muslim and they don't play that? Plus, she has a young daughter. While the intent of the shoot was good, it isn't for everyone to do. Mariah came and supported. That was enough.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA: Momma Joyce had me rolling the entire episode. I thought she was hilarious, and I understand why she is coming after Phaedra. Phaedra is a dirty fighter, who is subtly making plans to come after Kandi. We've seen Phaedra go dirty time and time again. She did it wth Nene, Cynthia, and Kenya. She's sharpening her fangs for Kandi next. I am glad that Momma Joyce is nipping it in the bud. Phaedra as finally met her match as Momma Joyce is gladly willing to go toe to toe with her. I'll place my bet behind Momma Joyce. Sheree was so messy bringing up Block/Porsha. What I don't get is why Porsha was mad that Kandi mentioned to the other women. Porsha, we know you get around the block (pun intended). This ain't nothing new. Kenya/Matt was hard to watch. I don't get how people can say that this is scripted given their reactions. If so, Kenya & Matt need to on primetime b/c they sold it well. That aside, it was jarring to see how Matt did Kenya's garage windows. Kenya needs to let him go as these are signs of what's to come. If he's beating walls and breaking glass, that'll be you soon enough. Kenya needs to be single and continue on her journey of finding herself. Some people have longer journeys than others.- The Politics Thread
