  1. It was so many varieties of cringe I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. It was atrocious.
  2. +1 it seems to me that Denise will have a BRUTAL second season. And the bloom seems off the rose that is Aaron...
  3. Now that is a bop. Porsha looks incredible. Talk about star power. And Dorinda looks fierce. I finally figured out who Sonja reminds me of: she's like Goldie Hawn's character, Elyse, in The First Wives Club - except she's real. They really played up her glamorous daffiness in this video and it totally works.
  4. POTOMAC - Whoa! Bravo broke the fourth wall in a big way and really elevated the franchise in the process. In order to grow the shows need to evolve in their production style. Breaking the fourth wall is a part of that because the show itself is a major part of the women’s lives. The production footage is damning. As an aside, Karen brushing her outfit into a dustpan was hilarious.
  5. 100% correct. Brandi has blown all credibility by blaming LVP for every woe in her life. She overestimates LVP's power and underestimates her own responsibility for her life and all the bad decisions she's made that have made her a pariah and liability. It'd happily welcome back Eileen. She'd be a breath of fresh air but I feel like BH is dead and they should either recast and start over with Denise and all new cast or just end BH and do Santa Barbara, Silicon Valley, or San Francisco.
  6. Happy for Cynthia. He seems like a good guy and she deserves one of those. The RHONY reunion was fantastic and I can't often say that about reunion episodes in the RH world. Each and every one of the wives contributed in a major way to the show this season and overall, while it wasn't as good as last season, this season of RHONY was awesome and I really hope they don't mess with the cast. BTW, the producers of Chicago said that Lu is not joining the cast at this time...
  7. Ashley looked so awful. And yes, just like her mother in that awful wig. I suspect that VT was filmed while she was pregnant as she looks visibly fuller in the face...but while Monique glows while pregnant, Ashley looks horrible. Karen looks AMAZING with her wig like that. Edgy and modern and razor sharp. Loved it. This week's Potomac was another great episode.
  8. Glad I'm done with BH. There's really nothing left of that show which appeals to me.
  9. Karen slaying Ashley was the highlight I'd been waiting for. This season of Potomac has been amazing and it's second only to RHONY for excitement and organic dynamism. What I really want, no, NEED, to see is for Gizelle to go down for all the nasty crap she does and says about every single woman in the cast. She is the worst of the bunch, even worse than Ashley, yet she gets away with it, again and again, like Vyle Richards.
  10. Inexplicably I don’t know if Bravo quite realizes how dire things are. BH is a dreadful show that isn’t enjoyable at all anymore. Unless they cast Dame Joan Collins next season, that’s the end of the road for me and this franchise.
  11. Potomac was iconic this week. 10/10. Five Stars. A tour de force. The first 20 minutes will go down in Housewives lore. It was everything I could have wanted in a dinner party scene. Karen's reactions were essential viewing. And then she was the only one to go to Candiace and try and calm her down. I also enjoyed Robyn, for like the first time ever. And then when Chris co-signed for Candiace and Robyn's version of events I was gleeful. Ashley isn't much of an actress. Her denials were as thin as her weave tracks. And then we had the later gripping scenes between Candiace and her awful mother. Dorothy must have a very poor grasp of how she's coming across, because the woman appears to be straight up evil.
  12. Yeah. I won't be watching. This whole season sucked aside from the LVP/Kyle confrontation. Here are my thoughts: Kyle: WTF did she do to her face? She looks hard and awful. Glad it finally seems that Mauricio's lawsuit is being addressed since she dodged that all season long. Rinna: Why is her upper lip looking like that? It looks swollen. The wig is terrible. Erika: Looks great. Also looks totally over the show and seems aware she's done nothing all season. Teddi and Denise: Irrelevant. Dorit: It's amazing to me that she's coming out of this virtually unscathed when it's all her fault. Camille: Warrior. Looks great. Carried the season on her back. Shouldn't return and should let this show die a certain death. Andy: He's lost it. Not impartial. Totally biased.
  13. Another great season of RHONY - a really fun finale. The reunion looks good, but not hateful or spiteful. Really look forward to it. This cast doesn't need tampering with. Sure, bring on a Friend of the Housewives or two, but the main ladies need to stick around. The chemistry with this show is unlike any other.
  14. Definitely agree - there is a certain level of affection and love between the NYC cast that you see little of in other cities (aside from Potomac and between Vicki/Tamra/Shannon on OC) . NYC absolutely deserves an Emmy nomination. For my money it's the funniest, best edited show on TV.
  15. It takes a certain level of intelligence and maturity that you don't see so generally in any other cast. On the whole, the NYC cast, which is perfection and shouldn't be changed if anyone at Bravo cares about my opinion, is very smart and have a level of sophistication that you don't see elsewhere so consistently.
  16. So sorry for LVP's second loss in a year. First her brother, now her mother...leaving only an elderly father behind. I'm really glad LVP quit BH. Firstly, it means I don't have to spend an hour of my week watching the show, but secondly, now she might have a bit more time to devote to being in England with her father, taking care of herself and focusing on good people in her life rather than those awful women who have naked hatred for her. NYC was another great episode. The speed at which the women get past their conflicts is incredible. Nothing gets bigger than it should and they move on.
  17. Finally caught up on NYC and Potomac. Wow, Bethenny, wow. Both of these shows are on fire.
  18. Good. The show sucks. And knowing that LVP is truly out takes the wind out of the show because we know it's all for naught.
  19. Absolutely. She can throw him all the baby showers she wants...but Kyle knows that she'll always be the realtor's wife who lives in Encino.
  20. In case this hasn't been posted, Andy on LVP's exit: https://deadline.com/2019/06/andy-cohen-lisa-vanderpumps-exit-from-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-1202630547/
  21. Re Ramona and Lu potentially getting the axe: if that happens, I can confidently say that RHONY has jumped the shark. Ramona and Lu give endless entertainment while Kyle Richards does the splits. And they’re the ones who face being fired? Bravo is the new ABC Daytime under Brian Frons as the vets get canned. Re LVP and the reunion: good for her. If she’s ballsy enough to be truly done then why endure the other women’s crap?
  22. @Taoboi I think she'll show, but only for a set period. I can't imagine she'd want to sit through the entire day with the rest of them, trying to trash her some more. I don't think she'll have a mic drop because I think she's going to be like Eileen and stay calm. That said, LVP might surprise us. But I do not think she won't show.
  23. You bet they do...and not one word about them on the show. So the whole show rings false. On NYC, Lu went to jail, on ATL, Nene got hit with that IRS Debt, on OC, half the cast lost their houses to foreclosure, we've seen divorces galore across the franchises - yet on RHOBH it's about a f--king dog.
  24. NYC What an episode. That was epic. We covered a lot of ground: from rehearsals with LuAnn to Christmas tree lighting with Dorinda, to bathing suit shopping with Bethenny and Sonja, to pill accusations, to flashbacks of pottery that no one attended on time, to a Jill Zarin cameo...and that was all before a baller mansion vacation in Miami. I think LuAnn's accusation that Sonja is on something is an ugly one to make. Especially for someone who claims to be an alcoholic in recovery (and as we know she fell off the wagon and violated the terms of her probation so she’s one to talk...and I love Lu but she’s a hypocrite). While Sonja was obviously ripped out of her tree the first night in Miami, she didn't seem high to me. And she's also harmless: Sonja hurts no one but herself. Even wasted, she's nice to the staff, hugs everyone, and then gets laser focused enough to hit LuAnn where she lives. Note that Dorinda defended Sonja and said Sonja's been a better friend to Lu than even Dorinda has (which is true, and was big of Dorinda to admit), and it's not always been smooth sailing between Dorinda and Sonja as we know so this is honest progress. They've had a nice little friendship this season. And then Tinsley said to Bethenny that Sonja was clear and articulate with her points against LuAnn. And then Bethenny went right over to LuAnn and says that Sonja is right and Lu is wrong. In vino veritas. A drunk Sonja brings THE TRUTH. Ramona is a total nightmare, as usual, unpacking her suitcase and treating the staff like crap. But the trip wouldn't be the same without her. Barbara was such an afterthought this episode but when Ramona basically shrugged off her existence and coming clubbing with her I felt sorry for Barbara. That was just mean. Next week looks incredible. I'd wager we've got another 2 - 3 episodes to go before the reunion?
