  1. Yes, I can blame people for not believing Janice. I don't really know what lies she's apparently told, and I have followed her career and life for a long time. If it's the "I'm the world's first supermodel" thing, that's her opinion, that's not a lie. Janice brought her receipts and has told the truth. She's a ballsy woman, she's been through it all and survived. And now she's having her justice. At last.
  2. There you go Janice, way to go on the pictures. Of all things for a model to have. Hopefully that shuts people up about her. With barely anything on and a wedding rig on his finger, Cosby is a piece of work.
  3. You just can't beat those receipts.
  4. You made a comment in an earlier post about her father being interested in her. You do realize Janice's father was a pedophile who sexually assaulted her two sisters for years and beat Janice when she refused to have sex with him, something her sisters and first husband corroborated?
  5. Anytime you attack someone whose made an allegation of rape about their choice of plastic surgeon, it really undermines whatever credibility you might have been clinging to. You're slut shaming her and that isn't right. And not for nothing, but her plastic surgeon, the late Dr. Frank Ryan, was a wonderful person and someone I really liked and admired. Janice has had a lot of therapy. A lot. And she's been through the mill. After a while, a lot of people don't feel that disturbed about what's happened to them, they've learned to cope. As Julie Chen said on The Talk, when Janice mentioned "a patchwork robe" something about the look on her face and the way she said it and that specific detail, it struck me as authentic. And just because Janice has had a lot of affairs and done a lot of drugs doesn't mean she wasn't sexually assaulted. That attitude is slut shaming.
  6. BH It was a very solid premiere episode...seeing Adrienne, Camille and Taylor was interesting, for the Botox observations alone. Kyle continues the same whiney, victim, woe is me crap she's been pulling for years, as if anyone cares anymore. I just find Kyle so tiresome. Her reunion with Lisa is doomed to fail. She's not over anything and she's jealous as hell. Kim's drunk/pilled out ass really didn't need to surface. I didn't notice she was missing for 3/4 of the episode. Brandi is trash. Messy, stupid, immature trash. She's 42, her kind of crap isn't cute anymore. Brandi has no whit or natural social charm. She's like a canker sore. I'm glad Lisa said Brandi burned that bridge. Good! Lisa Rinna is a delight. I have always liked her. Yolanda, selling the same faux bliss as usual. Yawn. Lisa continues to be my absolute favourite. She just makes so much sense to me. If someone wrongs you, decide if you want them in your life, and if you don't, cut them out. Make your own deals. Old school English common sense. She puts these women off kilter, in the English sensibility Lisa puts to them the premise: you say you're over it: prove it, be over it, stop talking about it and beating a dead horse. And they just can't help themselves, they can't stop doing it because they're not over her at all. They just can't quit Lisa.
  7. I love Janice, despite all her flaws and delusions of grandeur. And I believe her too.
  8. Absolutely. It's a fabulous picture and the writer is a major hater. It must be hard to be a nobody, so thirsty to be a somebody, that you'd have to stoop to writing a nasty article about someone whose made it?
  9. Exactly. Kyle hasn't been relevant since her season 1 fight with Camille and her "You're a liar and sick and an alcoholic!" to Kim. She's certainly not the main draw for this show: she isn't the star and she never has been. Her tagline infers that she has a private plane and yacht, and we know that isn't true. She lives in that mediocre house in that part of Bel Air that's a heck of a lot closer to Sherman Oaks than it is to Beverly Hills, a stone's throw from Robin Strasser's house, and has some McMansion in La Quinta on a golf course in the middle of nowhere. Kyle and Kim are the kind of housewives that could be dropped and you'd never notice they weren't there.
  10. Very good point. That updo is very 90s Kristen and not in the best way.
  11. Lisa V's is epic. Yolanda's is generic. Lisa R's displays a winning sly humour. Eileen's is funny. Kim's is stupid. Brandi's is untrue. Kyle's tries to make her more than she is, as usual.
  12. The Season 5 Beverly Hills taglines for Kim, Empress Lisa, Eileen and Brandi, the others haven't been released yet it seems... Kim: I’ve been rich and I’ve been famous, but happiness beats them both. Empress Lisa: Throw me to the wolves and I shall return, leading the pack. Eileen: I’m not a bitch, but I’ve played one on TV. Brandi: I’d rather spend my life kicking ass than kissing it.
  13. That writer came off as incredibly bitter, nasty and envious of the fact that Morgan, indeed, has it both ways: maintaining a light, glamorous acting career while hobnobbing with Washington thinkers.
  14. A snitch? You cannot be serious. He's the manager of the restaurant. He's management. He's above the staff. He owes Lisa undivided loyalty. That's not being a snitch, that's be a professional and doing your job. And Jax is not a lifelong bachelor. That's an insult to bachelors. He's a lifelong loser.
  15. A very good second episode - fast paced and a firing and Jax got his sorry ass read, it usually doesn't get this good until late in the season! It was so satisfying to see Lisa fire James, what an insipid little worm. Peter is clearly one of Lisa's most trusted employees, displaying consistent loyalty at all times, while hating all the same people the audience hates. Peter for the win. Glad Lisa didn't fire Tom Schwartz before he even got started. Tom Sandoval really needs to clean his apartment. What a dump! Jax is a loser and life is going to be seriously crappy for him in a couple of years when his looks totally go and he has no education, no career and no viable prospects.
  16. The executive summary, if you will... George Hamilton is still tan, still rich and still happy. But he's into simplifying his life and living with less. He downsized from the Beverly Hills mansion and into a Wilshire Boulevard condo. He had a gay brother who told him his only regret in life was that he would have loved more. This taught George a lesson. Life seems very good for him. Morgan Fairchild is still good humored, intelligent and adventurous in her career. Her face is frozen in time and a bit fuller than most would remember, but her figure remains voluptuous and her waistline intact. She goes out for lunch with friends daily and has been in a relationship with a film executive named Marc Seiler for 30 years. She is extremely interested in foreign policy, Twitter and being interested in the world. In sum, both of these very glamorous figures are very real people who have their sh*t together.
  17. I love Eileen, but I think she felt underpaid, rather than overworked, at DAYS...the money was always a real problem for her in interviews. Daytime is on the way out, even the most deluded fans know this, and Eileen is striking while the iron is hot. She's making money, gaining exposure and boosting her career prospects post daytime. And heck, if she's making anywhere near the $750k that was the going rumour she'll laugh to the bank given that's probably more than her Y&R salary these days.
  18. Yes there is a separate topic.
  19. Eileen won't come out unscathed, nobody in reality television does...but in some ways it might make her more interesting. As Angela's rightly pointed out, what kind of respect do soap actors actually get in the profession? The answer is not very much. Eileen is 55, the genre is dwindling, this is a once in a lifetime window of opportunity at a little more fame and money than she'd have otherwise. Hopefully, the RHOBH money goes straight into a 401k or college fund for her son. And then that's time well spent.
  20. What's there to even debate? The dog has attacked 4 times. In many states, after 2 strikes, the dog has to be destroyed. It's attacked this many times, it will do it again, bye Felicia! Kim's nonsense about "My room was off limits," blaming both Ms Rozario and Alexia, is typical of why she's far from harmless. She never takes responsibility for her actions and how those actions hurt other people. She's a narcissistic pig.
  21. Perfect, I hope everyone sues the sh*t out of Kim. She's earned it. She deserves it.
  22. There's no choice in this matter: the dog must be destroyed. Kim was irresponsible to buy him and when the trainer couldn't handle the dog, it was clear it was never suitable for domesticity. But oh, Kim's harmless...except this is a prime example of how dangerous her stupidity and selfishness is. She isn't harmless, she's a menace because she doesn't live in reality, she lives in denial about how her actions have serious consequences.
  23. If only it had eaten Kim. That stupid pit bull should be put down. As if anyone is surprised that Kim's beloved Kingsley did that, look at the owner. Dumb dog, dumb owner.
  24. The money can't hurt, nor can the exposure to a whole new audience, in prime time, in a pop culture vehicle of such relevance like the RH series. It's a great opportunity and another chance at televised immortality. And it's a new adventure. Makes all the sense in the world to me!
  25. Lisa confirmed that she was totally surprised by the slap delivered by Brandi at the end of filming... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYaPkHuPkzk
