  1. Okay, I'll do my best....

    Luke's Hell

    Lulu preggers for #4

Logan is the father of everyone (10 year marriage and counting)

Children Laura (10), Scotty (6), Baldwin (weak stomach, 9 mos)

Lulu & Logan off for date night, so Luke has to babysit

Lucky - cop, covering Luke's shift so he can be home with the grandkids

    Mac - Luke's mini-golf buddy

Scotty - Casino owner, flashy playboy, international whatever

Tracy (she did look good) - Luke's ex-wife (said he left her one too many times); married to Scott, calling him lover, etc.

Leslie - dancing around with an old style "boombox" on her shoulder, Disco was back

cigars, but no working lighters; Brandy, that wouldn't pour out of the bottle

Skye finally asks him if he knew this would be the results of his life, would he do it all again - Luke's response was yes, his life was Heaven. Skye looks very disappointed, and walks away, Luke enters the white light again and regains consciousness. He's on the operating table, and Leo's saying "I can't fix this heart, he hasn't got one". Skye again leaves over him to ask if it's worth it, then Luke's in his hospital room opening his eyes, and Skye is the first person he sees. (Ugh)

    Meanwhile, in the waiting room...

Tracy has just about had enough. She yells at Scott, wondering why he was even there. Bobbie yells at Tracy to stop, she called Scott. Bobbie says she realizes Tracy is scared, but she's not the only one. Tracy yells, of course, who am I, only the one who's been with Luke through all of this, saved his life.. She doesn't even know what Skye's doing there.

Monica comes out to Tracy and says she's sorry. Tracy was right (Monica said that to Tracy a few times), she should never have gone in to the surgery. Tracy just stares at her. Leslie tells Monica she did the best she could. Bobbie tells Monica they appreciate everything she did to help Luke. But Monica is only looking at Tracy. Says "you were right" again. Said she believed her professional detachment could get her through the surgery, but everywhere she looked she saw Emily. Monica admits she froze, that Dr. Julian got there to undo her damage, but when she left they were losing Luke. She again apologizes only to Tracy, and Tracy says "Don't ever speak to me", then walks away. Lucky grabs her and says, "Dad is not dead, yet." Tracy just shakes off his arm and continues to walk away.

In the end, when Luke wakes up in his hospital bed, Skye says something like, "he's awake", and Tracy says "thank God" (I think).

    My comments...

Tracy finally got to yell at Bobbie. Long time coming, and not enough. Liked that Monica focused only on Tracy and not the others (proper thing).

Luke's Hell really was over the top, which is probably what they were going for. Not enough Tracy, and what Skye was doing there when Luke woke up, rather than Tracy, bothered me. I realize it was continuity, from "hell" to the operating room to his hospital room, but there was just way too much Skye. Tracy didn't really get to spend any time with Luke, just touch his forehead.

I don't know.... I'll have to see it again to see if my initial feelings were acurate, but I wasn't really liking today. I had hoped that yesterday was preparing today for a huge JE payoff, and we just didn't get it. Seemed way too choppy. I'm glad they are balancing the show... a little Maxie, a little Skate, a little Zaccharas, but the editing wasn't smooth. The end was just too fast.

So, you all get to wait for the wonderful Nex to get the clips, and then you can make your own judgement calls.

  2. Remos, I think the eye-opening was just he was resting and Skye popped up. I don't think he opened his eyes to her. I am telling myself this.

Eye opening????? Not sure what you're talking about. Did I say that?

Skye came in as Bobbie left, so Luke was already 'entertaining' is public, as it were.

  3. Wow Remos! Damn you're good! That was great!!! If only...if only...we could get something a tiny bit as good as that on the real show!

Love it. So glad you are a writing machine these days!

Now you gotta write the missing scene of Tracy talking to Luke right before the surgery!!!

Seems like they really won't be on Thursday and Friday this week...or Monday and Tuesday next week. Boo hoo!

Oh, hadn't thought about that one. Let me think on it.

*taking a bow* Thank you for your compliment. I have just got to channel my Tracy muse into something publishable, so I can get paid for these outbursts of passion :D

  4. remos!!! If you can't spin it, it was bad! I didn't like today either, other than that one scene. What a rip off. Oh, and if THAT was the vow renewal thing we're supposed to get? Gah, gah, gah...

Wow... well.... glad you think so highly of me. If every there was a cry for an "additonal scene" today was it.

Give me 20 minutes, and there will be some ideas in your email, Ms. Q.

(Did you know, I used to write sermons on my way to preach some Sundays. Guess that was a skill I needed back then, than helps me process this type of crap right now. My kids can wait for supper..... this is important!)

  5. They recalled the Dr. VonSkeemerman days; remos, you out there? You want to spin all this into something good?

Spin what into something good? I was gagging through the Skye, Bobbie, Lulu and Lucky stuff. They missed a huge opportunity for Tracy to speak to him before going into surgery. I really hope tomorrow is good, because today fell flat.

Oh, one 'laugh out loud' moment: When Luke was going under, and they anethesiologist was giving him more medication, Luke was flirting with Epiphany, calling her georgeous and telling her they could go back to his place and spin 33's.

Poll: How many are old enough to know what a 33 is? (Hint: they pre-date 45's)

  6. You know, something told me Hooked and I spoke too soon re: ewcbo. She was mentioned 3 times today, blah.

    Okay Recap by Remos

Started today with a continuation of Tracy asking Monica to wait until Dr. Julian arrived, again, no dice. Monica still offended that Tracy didn't trust her. Monica told Luke exactly what the operation would entail, and what would happen if he didn't do it. Tracy sarcastically thanked Monica for the scare tactics, and asked Monica if she had performed any by-pass operations since Emily's death. Luke just wanted to get on with it, so they went ahead. Luke looks at Tracy and starts "I promise". Tracy yells "Stop, don't make any promises. You break more promises than anyone else I know." Tracy was barely able to control her emotions, so Luke pulled her towards him and suggested after this was all over they would go to Vegas for a second honeymoon, or Monti Carlo, or some place else. "See", he told her, "I'm making plans. I'll be back".

We have a whole series of Bobbie calling people to join her. Bobbie goes in to talk to Luke, they talk about ewcbo. Skye comes in an he flirts with her (so glad Tracy wasn't around for this). Lulu finds Lucky, and they go into see Luke. Luke all but says goodbye to all of them, talking to the kids about Laura.

Next Scott and Logan are at Kelly's when Bobbie calls Scott to come be with her. Logan comes too. Lulu has run into Luke's room and is sniffing his pillow, then prays to Laura to be there with Luke to help him get through this. Logan goes into the room with Lulu, she crys on his shoulder saying she doesn't want to lose her Dad.

Out in the Lobby, Bobbie, Scott, Lucky, Skyle and Lesley are drinking coffee, slightly bickering with everyone. Leslie dryly tells Scott he and Luke have hated each other for so many years, he feels like family. Tracy turns from the window - where she's standing alone with no coffee - and looks at them (It was gutwrenching watching how Luke's family didn't even acknowledge her).

In the operating room, Monica sees Emily's face on every nurse around her, and freezes. Epiph. asks what they should do and Monica says she doesn't know. Then Epiph. says they are losing him. Luke wakes up with a gasp on the operating table, but there isn't any equipment around. Skye welcomes him. He says something to the fact that there is a Heaven afterall. She says yes, but he isn't there. Then we see him holding his head in pain, and he's then in the Spencer home, dressing like an old fart with a very big hearing aid.

Previews for tomorrow: Monica telling Tracy she's sorry. Lulu gasping. Luke trying to escape the Spencer home and Skye telling him he won't like what's outside the doors.

I thought Bobbie's attitude towards Tracy today was needlessly callous. Yes, the two have a history of not liking each other, but Bobbie was almost cruel. Luke asked Bobbie not to "Shove Tracy out a window" and all Bobbie could say was "I won't make any promises". Then towards the end when Tracy was alone, but someone brought coffee for everyone else and they were sitting in the lounge, that wasn't necessary. I really hope Tracy gives them hell tomorrow. First time Bobbie has ever really pissed me off - in 30 years!

  7. My kids are wondering why I'm laughing, Hooked. I'm loving the lack of EWCBO as well. And when he says 'my wife', no one is confused. Love it!!!

It's also bringing out the vets in droves.

As for TG and exit storyline, I think that's a lot of idle speculation. You're right, when he goes, it won't be quickly. We will have a long, long time to prepare for it. It just will be too deep a cut into the canvas and history to have him gone. I think the chatter will just get louder and more plaintive until he signs his next big contract, with the usual calls for you-know-who to return.

  8. 12 hours.... I got 12 hours in bed, and 10 1/2 of them were actually sleeping. My body doesn't know what to do with itself.

Also saw on SD that the Insider confirmed LuNacy for NYE. So that's 3 out of 3.

One of the annon. posters mentioned (or perhaps it was here, I'm still fuzzy this morning) that the Christmas Eve and NYE episodes usually indicate the storylines that are going forward. Here's hoping!

  9. Okay, 'cause I'm bored and don't want to deal with the mountain of laundry that awaits me, I've been looking at the appearance list for the next two days. I think Luke's Heaven/Hell dream is only Wednesday. Perhaps he sees the first light tomorrow and technically 'dies', but the names suggest everything is Wednesday.

    Tuesday

    Luke & Monica

    Luke & Monica

    Luke & Monica

Monica, Epiphany, Nadine & Regina (taking Luke to surgery)

    Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley & Skye

Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley, Scott, Logan & Skye

    Wednesday

Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley, Scott, Monica & Skye (Monica tells Tracy et al about her screw-up on the table)

Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley, Scott, Monica, Lulu, Logan & Skye (dream)

    Luke, Skye & Scott

Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley, Scott, Monica, Lulu, Logan & Skye (dream)

    Luke, Skye & Scott

Lucky, Bobbie, Lesley, Scott, Monica, Lulu, Logan & Skye (dream)

Luke, Skye, Leo, Epiphany, Nadine, Andy & Regina (find out he's alive, that Leo was able to save him)

This would make sense, given that we aren't supposed to see LuNacy on our screens again until next Wednesday. They have to have their happy conclusion end of show this Wednesday.

I just hope they let JE loose to run the emotional gauntlet.

  10. Nex, amazing, as always.

    Thanks muchly

    EDIT

Normal I find SZ incredibly foul and distasteful, but every now and again, a poster puts up something enlightened:

I loved Luke and __________ - Fill in the blank.

Luke and Lucky were great! I’m really not a Lucky fan and GV isn’t my type so I don’t normally get the, “Man, he’s hot response.” But today, being his father’s son, with the little bit of scruff and the dimples, Lucky was seriously hot!

Luke and Tracy – OMG Jane Elliot is gorgeous and the subtly she brings gets me every time. There are no over the top dramatic scenes just consistent amazing emotions every time.

Luke and Sonny – Once again, not really a Sonny fan but great scene and the way Sonny shook his hand at the end, loved it!

  11. I think there was something keeping us from watching GH today. My kids just wouldn't leave me alone. My recap is about as sketchy as Ms. Q's - and it's over an hour later so my memory is going to be a challenge.

    Okay:

First scene, Tracy is standing over Luke, hands on hips. Same routine he want life on his terms, she wants him to fight. She says he's the strongest person she knows, but he's just quiting. Who are you? she yells at one point. Also tells him she wants him to fight for her, to be with her. Luke looks close to tears most of this time, and so does Tracy. Tracy: I get that you're the last of the free living 60's radicals, but if you look around, all the others are dead. Looking into her eyes, he assures her he wants to live and be with her. But he wants to do it on his terms. Tracy blows up, saying that's the fastest turn around time every. We're right back where we started. Why do I bother? And storms out of the room.

Nice to see Sonny come in. He listens to Luke, as Luke says he wants to LIVE, and not be a drain on Tracy. This is the part Tracy overhears. She looks so sad through it all.

Final is them talking. She's sitting on his bed, rubbing his hand. Luke is obviously having a harder time talking and breathing. Lucky's advice was interupted by Rusty, but Luke recounted it to Tracy: basically that Luke is angry at his body for betraying him, and doesn't trust it to get him back on his feet. Something like that.

My comments: Scenes today seemed to stop rather than end. When Tracy came in after eavesdropping, I had hoped they would continue, but they just ended. It felt like something was dropped off. I'm glad they are moving to the surgery stage, because the maypole of Luke wanting life on his terms, is really getting tired.

Perhaps the biggest thing out of the day is that Luke want to be with Tracy, and wants to be whole for Tracy. He doesn't want to be a burden to her. He told Sonny that Tracy "hadn't signed on for that". He may be a schmuck that needs a boot to the head, but he's finally expressing how much he loves her, in a multitude of ways, and wants her to have everything she deserves.

    EDIT

Ms. Q, hope TOMORROW goes well (obviously my reading skills are on par with my spelling ^_^ )

  12. I posted on Marlena De Lacroix's blog in response to her post about Luke and Tracy at the Black and White Ball. And she responded! :D

Marlena says: What a great letter with good points. I had never heard that acronym before-LuNacy. Oh ha ha! I have to admit I like the complex, mature, redeeming union of Luke and Tracy because I am a married person. How rare it is to see characters you can really relate to on a soap opera any more!

    Well said, Marlena! ICAM.

Oh, gotta go read that one... good job, BSG. You are so on the money with your assessment!

  13. I'm in my jammies too, Hooked. Have been since I returned from Church after lunch.

It be cold up here. Anyone wanting a white Christmas, come visit! TO hasn't seen one of these in years.

I'm disappointed that Luke/Tracy are not in the NYE thing, but we've had US Thanksgiving and will have Christmas. I guess 3 out of 3 would been greedy (I've already seen one poster on SD joke about LuNacy being airhogs).

Luke is supposed to be on one extra day than Tracy this month, so I guess next Thursday is it. It's just speculation, mind you, since Tracy's days are one of the few for the week of the 17th that wasn't posted.

Really looking forward to this week and the Heaven/Hell scenes. Between that and Tracy's reaction to Monica's botch job, this should be a really good week for JE.

  14. As for SOC, I'll show the LuNacy love in the "I Heart LuNacy" thread, but I've debated sooo much over there in the past, and while I was quite proud of myself, LOL, it's not something I want to get into this weekend. So, I think I'm gonna stay out of the LnL vs. LuNacy topic...

EDIT: Totally OT, but yesterday I got my haircut, and my mother is totally in love with it, and she's like, "This is the smartest thing you've ever done." And I was like, "Wow...Says a lot about what you think of my life, doesn't it?" We both laughed, but I was thinking, "Hmm..."

Mother's say stupid things - it's part of our charm :P

Go bump the Lunacy love, Stace, the 'debate' is just going around in circles.

  15. Well, Lainey, you and I kept the SOC people hopping through the night. Every get that sweater?

About Tracy and the mob connection, I really hope they return to this. How they would do the connection to S. BR (condisering she's older that Dillon) I'd like to know.

And I echo Lainey, come over to SOC and show the faith. There are some seriously "ewcbo at any cost" people over there. I spent 4 hours in a crowded shopping mall yesterday, with all 4 of my kids, so I was ready to rumble!

    EDIT:

New poll up on SOC, "Which couple would you like to see to last".

Aside from the atrocious grammar, Tracy/Luke are receiving almost half of the votes.

  16. EDIT:

There is no traditional GH celebration this year with the reading of the story.

    :(

Really??? Geez, even in the years when I wasn't watching GH regularly, I would tune in for the Xmas Eve show. Wonder what Alan doing in that chair with the Santa Hat means, hmmm...

  17. I wondered if Cassius was the new orderly.

As for the funeral, she wasn't that close to Georgie and perhaps she feels it more important to be with a recovering Luke.

    EDIT

    from SD...

He is at the hospital. Tracy is there with Luke on Xmas eve because they're operating on Luke on Xmas day.

ME: ??? He's having surgery this coming week. Does this means he has to go under the knife again? (I'll forgive TG his vacation after this one. I can imagine this is actually quite difficult to play.)

Insider: Can you say who is in the Christmas Montage? Thanks

    Maxie/Felicia/Mac/Robin, Tracy/Luke/Lulu, Alexis/Ric/girls, Kate, Sonny, Jax/Carly/boys, Sam/Lucky/boys and Jason/Liz.

ME: Wow, they really are quite the little family, aren't they. Nice to see.

  18. Whoever said it seemed more balanced, I agree.

All right, TQ fans, what am I missing?

That would be me, my dear...

    Okay...

    1. Alan's funeral when Scott showed up and Tracy put her arm through Luke's

    2. Bitchslap one (my favourite, 'cause I live across said border)

    3. Durant/lawsuit

    4. Scott in PCPD

    5. LnL debacle, in the foyer when Bobbie told Tracy to "leave my brother alone"

    6. Hospital today

    7. Lulu's birthday party?

That's all I can come up with.

  19. Colette, did you type and watch at the same time?

    Alan, Bobbie and Diane

Actually, she was in all 7 scenes of the day.

Started the programme with Luke and Tracy. She asks him how he's feeling, and he says he's been in the hospital for a week, and already hates that question. Tracy says she's asking about the hangover, not his heart. Does the "my life" crap again, and is taken away for tests. Tracy looks like she is ready to cry as she adjusts the wires over his bed. That's when Skye comes in.

Colette has everything, so I won't repeat, but it was very cool to see that the only nubee they were dealing with was the orderlie. It was Luke, Tracy, Skye, Alan, Bobbie and Monica. Bobbie even touched Tracy a few times in almost a caring gesture. JE is really playing Tracy scared and not liking the lack of control. Loved it!

The last scene was the best. Luke was asking who the younger women was who was wanting him. Was it the tall Blonde with the tatoo, or the short brunette with the upturned (something, kids screamed at the moment). Tracy said it was Skye, alright. As

Colette said, Luke calls Tracy on her need for control, and Luke says he knows she wants him to live, and he loves her for it, but she can't control what happens on the operating table. If it's going to happen, it will happen. Tracy comments that's pretty Zen of him. Well, you know... and they spend some time laughing together. They were like a real couple, awaiting life/death surgery, and trying to get as much time in as possible. They were so great. I hope no one says TG phoned it in today, because with both Bobbie and Tracy, you could see the love, respect and understanding in his words and face.

Nothing in the prevues, but we already knew that.

    EDIT

Is it just me, or are they really balancing the show these days. There was a brief encounter between Lucky and Jason, but nothing over the top. Ric overheard, which will get his weasel brain going. Alexis, Diane and Kate were absolutely hilarious today with Sonny's crossing of Kate's boundries and their mutual love for fashion. Suspence regarding the killer of Emily and Maxie being attacked. Trevor walking around town trying to be the big man, while subtly threatening Ric and Skye. Subtle being the operative word. So we had comedy, real life drama, family struggles, suspence, and all of it stayed within the context of the various ongoing s/l. Is someone actually paying attention to the deficites this show has had of late? Neither Sonny nor Jason were screne hogs, Sam and Carly are no where to be seen, and Jake wasn't the raison d'etre.
