Not sure about Amy. Stephanie Williams booked the role of Simone on GH this year. According to an article, she first taped on February 1st. She might have been brought back earlier by WJB before that and it was cut short because she had a better offer on GH and then he created Drucilla. Don’t know really.

Exactly ! I was surprised that LeBlanc was recurring during his first months back. I don’t know when he was finally put on contract. Maybe it wasn’t sure his return would be long term.

Very interesting ! I thought the show was shown in colour beginning in late 1967.

Was watching classics on the Dutch website. Noticed Clayton Norcross departed on episode 618 and Jeff Trachta began in 619. Does anyone have the airdate ? I think it was during the week of September 4th-8th. Funny that Thorne and Macy’s first encounter was with Norcross still in the role in episode 616.

I agree with you. But my mother watched both and she didn’t understand why Sheila was on B&B talking about Scott being dead while she was still featured in Y&R married to him. My mother didn’t watch Loving. I am sad I didn’t see much of it then.

What I get from the recaps is that after leaving in June 1981, Roberta Leighton came back as a guest for the wedding in April 1984 then was brought back for a recurring gig in October 1985. Casey was then much involved in Nikki’s illness storyline. She was last mentioned in the recaps in November 1988 When Nikki was pregnant with Nicholas. There is a long time when she is not mentioned between August 1987 and May 1988 so I don’t know if she was still recurring or if she was out and brought back. No mention of her during the summer 1989 but I believe your memories !

Not surprising. In France, Y&R aired on TF1 and B&B on France 2 and B&B episodes were 3 years ahead of Y&R. imagine the mess of the Sheila/Lauren crossover. As a kid, I remember my mother who could not make any sense of this, and actors were of course not dubbed by the same voices.
