Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Sarah was Robert's mother who died in the barn fire Andy started? Love Diane ! Diane VS the Whites is great. I agree, I want a full rage war between them.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
We all saw this coming but I'll miss Emily. The show lost so many icons in ten years: Mike, Vera, Jack, Blanche, Betty, Deirdre, now Emily. Only Ken and Rita left. Sad. So I guess either Ken's illegitimate son or his grandson is visiting him at the hospital. I'm not common with them very much. Like Gary/Sarah/Bethany, it is classic good soap. Wish Phelan would already be out the show. He was there for too long. Do you think Yasmin will be given something to do now that Sharif left? Don't see much purpose left for her in the street. It's a shame so many characters are not given much. Would love Erica to have something meaty to do other than cuddle with Dev.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Oh he is really pathetic, isn't he? So the old man Kathy attacked is an old friend of Pauline's? Wonder why they brought him back. Really like Jay but the storyline is not good for him. Would like Lee not to be painted as so weak ...

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I agree with you about Paddy/Zak but when Ashley is gone, the show will definitely have not many vets left especially as Eric is so isolated. I know this is not common opinion but I don't mind the Whites. I enjoy hating them in a way. Rebecca is a great addition to the family. Kerry is so pathetic... I really don't want to see Jimmy turn to Bernice ...

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I love Diane VS the Whites. Diane is in deep need for good material. I hate how some characters can wait for months to have things to do.

Loved the entrance of Rebecca with the helicopter. It was a very nice touch. She seems to be fun. Nice to balance Chrissie.

Neighbours: Discussion Thread
Is Angus really viewing for Elly's affection? Not sure about it. Ned keeps leaving and coming back. Enjoy the Therese/Paul/Gary triangle and love Xanthe. She is a good young character but Ben is a bit dull.

Home and Away: Discussion Thread
Not much love for the Aussie soap here. I mostly enjoy it. Now that Nate knows Billie's baby is not V.J.'s, wonder how the show is gonna deal with it. After all, the baby is Irene's grandchild. I wish they would give Marilyn more depth. The character is too over the top.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Hope she will be okay. Moira really gets me on the show. It is now quite sure that Ross will be somehow responsible for James' death, probably an accident while fighting over Emma and Moira. I find Priya to be really annoying. Kerry and Dan are a good pairing. Enjoy them.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
Eva is not interesting at all. And I really don't care if she manipulates Liam. Glad to see Jude. Marnie / Cindy are a great duo. Ste can die for all I care. Harry could find so much better than this pathetic loser.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I can totally understand Pam's reaction. The whole kidnapping/home invasion for Grant was [!@#$%^&*] but the way Pam dealt with her grandson's death got to me. Her relationship with Honey too and yes, the scene when Johnny left for the hen party was really emotional.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I thought the Paul's murder storyline was well-handed. Really felt for Pam and Les even if Roger Sloman was not always good. Sense of community was a nice touch lately on the show. Same with Dot and the launderette.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
David and Nick's talk in Friday 2nd episode was touching. Like their brother interaction. Same with Bethany and Sarah. The Platts are great lately. Can't wait for Phelan's downfall. Hope Eileen will get the upper hand. Wondering about Audrey and Freddie. Wasn't she kind of dating Ken?

Shortland Street
Lots of departures lately: Leanne, Rachel, soon Bella. I also love Harper. Shortland Street has strong women and it has become so rare in US soaps. It's refreshing. I like the Cam / Kylie / Jack dynamic. Wish they would be featured a bit more lately. Ali / Lucy are cute but a bit boring.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
If I got it right, Debbie is Cain's daughter from a first marriage, isn't she? Ross was her boyfriend? Why did she run away and why is Cain so adamant at keeping Ross away from her?

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Yes, I tried the three of them. I think Emmerdale is great and I like Corrie. I find EastEnders very dark and not compelling at all. I can't say I like a single character after a week of watching.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I'm recently discovering the British soaps (I always knew them but never really tried to watch). What do you advise me to watch first? Coronation Street, Emmerdale or Eastenders. I find Eastenders to be very different in tone than the two others.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I'm pretty new to Corrie (since around Christmas) but why are Fiz, Michelle and Sean disliked that much? I don't really mind Fiz and Ty in the storyline with Hope, same for Michelle as a friend of Carla's and Sean had barely been seen.

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
Yes. Scott died in Catalina. I remember watching this a child. In France, B&B and Y&R aired on different networks and B&B was way in advance and as it was before the Internet, viewers were very confused to see Scott and Lauren coming to B&B, Scott died but we still see him on Y&R for a year or so before the same storyline happened.
