Elizabeth Harrower took over as Days headwriter in Feb 79 from Ann Marcus. Marcus had been headwriter just short of 2 years. Harrower lasted about a year. Ratings continued to drop during those years and Days ranked 10th each season.

Ellen left town in August 1960 to recover from Tim's death.(Wendy Drew left the show) In 1960 Tim and Louise divorced and thenhe married Ellen, so I think they would have only been married a few months at most.

Just came across an August 1960 ep of Love of Life I hadn't seen before. John Buckwater played Fowler.
