It's funny, but I had no idea that this Josh guy had any story - other than killing Laura, of course. That scene between Josh & Cecily is hot, I agree. He looks like he has (had) a nice body. I have no idea why the writers botched Cecily up in the '90s. I believe Broderick wrote Cecily in her '80s heyday, as well as her '90s return.
