Further detail about how Luann's night in Palm Beach went to hell: https://pagesix.com/2017/12/26/luann-had-previously-dated-the-guy-found-in-bed-with-her/

Ultimately, it comes down to Luann being in bed in the wrong hotel room with an ex she picked up in the bar, which she got into because it was unlocked as a hotel maid was doing turndown service. Luann locked herself in the bathroom and the cops were called.

The whole thing could have never happened if she hadn't been wasted.

An ex...? Praying it isn't him.

Luann seems like she's in a bad place at the moment. She is absolutely entitled to sleep with whomever she wants, whenever she wants, but breaking into another hotel room when she has her own is an unnecessary mess. Plus her friend Julie Olson appears to have sold her out, and a lot of the reports I am reading are borderline misogynistic, trashing Lu, i.e., she's so old and desperate!

Gutter press and no doubt many HWs are having a field day with this, which hurts my heart as I am a Luann fan. Maybe the embarrassment of this is the wake-up call she needs, though. She may be partying a little too hard, judging by that dead-eyed, smirking mugshot. She should take her time in getting over the second assh*le she married, and find someone better than Bald D'Agostino (a man who makes Dorinda's John look positively princely). Because she CAN do better, if she gets her sh*t together and doesn't settle for the first guy with a condo in West Palm Beach.

Bright side to all this: at least she got arrested in Palm Beach and not WPB, darlings. B)

  2. ETA: I just realised it has been almost a year since Luann's Palm Beach wedding on NYE. Tom is also in PB with his new wealthy GF, some Rothschild chick who used to be Luann's friend. Just speculating but I'm wondering if Luann acting like this is linked to that.

She's getting lots of trolls on Twitter attacking her, sadly. 2017 has been a rough year for her from beginning to end.

  3. Damn, Luann. They are currently filming RHONY at the moment.

Looking at the mugshot: yep. She's wasted. I know we've seen the Countess tumble into a bush in Mexico, but I never thought i would ever, EVER see her mugshot in a situation like this. Luann always seemed a calm, fun drinker, not an angry, violent one.

Exactly! The interesting part of all of it for me is that Siggy tries to argue that Bravo didn’t show her side of the conflict for context about her reactions.

What she fails to realize is that acting like a lunatic is never justified. There are reasons, but there are not excuses. She thinks she can be excused when she cannot. What she did to Melissa was really awful, for example, and there’s no context that can justify it.

This reminds me of the moment Heather sealed her fate on the OC. It was the Blair Witch bus ride to the airport in Ireland, when she orchestrated a hate campaign on Kelly and totally trashed and belittled her, trying to get her to react angrily so that she and the other two witches could look justified in their actions. Heather kept saying in her blogs that in the episodes that followed, we the dumb audience would understand what provoked her to act this way. We never did, and there was never any explanation to justify that behaviour. She was just a mean bully who targeted her prey.

As for Siggy, thank you for reminding me about the rolling around (Melissa, to her credit, took it like a champ) or the threat to pull out Marge's pigtails, or when she did that ridiculous dancing around and sticking her tongue out behind Marge's back at the pizzeria. As you say, there is really nothing Margaret, who seems pretty calm and sane, could have said to justify Siggy acting like this. Unlike Heather on the OC, though, who had a master plan regarding bringing Kelly down, Siggy seems literally unbalanced.

I like Dolores on the whole, but she is Siggy's enabler in her crazy hate fantasies. She knows better, because when it was just her, Margaret and Teresa in Milan, everyone got along well and treated each other respectfully. How can she justify telling Siggy it is ok to act the way she has?

  5. 3 hours ago, alwaysAMC said:

Eww, I just caught up on NJ and I can’t stand Siggy. To think I actually liked her last year, and then just thought she was being annoying earlier this season. No. She’s literally the worst and most idiotic bitch out there. I can’t believe this Hitler/anti-Semitic crap she’s pulling with Margaret. Totally uncool. I’m glad she’s quitting, hopefully she realizes this is her OWN career killer. Karma bitch.

Quitting? You mean fired, don't you? ;)

Trying to make out that another cast member made an anti-Semitic comment (when plainly she didnt) so you can play the victim was the lowest. When Andy said this week his rabbi said it wasn't an A-S comment, I figured Siggy's days were numbered.

Siggy on Twitter is now suddenly saying that Margaret said something even worse in Milan but Bravo edited it out to make M look good and S look bad.  Ok. Why on earth would Bravo leave out anything shocking or drama-worthy from a show that desperately needs it -- just to save a newbie like Marge's a$$??

  6. 4 hours ago, Antoyne said:

Siggy has announced that she’s not returning!!

Given that up until 3 hours ago she was still ranting and raving about all things RHONJ and siccing her followers on Margaret, sounds to me like she got fired by Bravo. She was waaaay too invested in keeping this fight going on social media to have suddenly stepped down from the show. No doubt she will pretend it was her decision to go, though.

  7. Just now, Antoyne said:

And she actually wanted a child and couldn’t have one. Quad has no excuse outside of not wanting one which she should’ve told her husband from the start, but she didn’t want to lose that meal ticket. I’m sure they aren’t making Housewives money but I assume she’s bringing in a decent amount from M2M and whatever else she has going on now, hence her offering to pay the mortgage now.

For sure. TV money is pretty good compared with our normal civilian jobs, lol. That's why so many HWs are so upset when they get fired! That's a nice paycheck to get, especially if you have a mortgage on some McMansion monstrosity. Or owe $$$ to the IRS. Naming no names, of course.

Yeah, the fact that Dr. Jackie helped so many women have a baby and has been unable to conceive is heartbreaking. You can tell she loves babies.

  8. 1 hour ago, Antoyne said:

I truly feel she mislead her husband with promises of a child and I think he’s seen the writing on the wall that she was full of [!@#$%^&*]. The only way she has a baby, is if her job is ever on the line.

Truth. Seems like a contrast with somebody like Doctor Jackie, for example, who seems like she prioritises her vocation as an OB-GYN over and above the TV show.

  9. BH:

Just rewinding the opening episode and I had to stop and listen again to Erika begging DWTS to call her for their 'Champion of Champions' show.

Since when was Erika a 'champion' on DWTS? What is this revisionist history?? Wasn't she booted off in, like, Week 4? After time spent in a couple of dance-offs?

She also said that she'd be perfect for the show because she "can play the game now." You mean, not come across as an icy, disdainful beyotch who doesn't talk to the other peasants? Because I guarantee that was the reason why America did not warm to her. Congrats on coming to that conclusion one year later tho! -_-

In other BH news, looks like Brandi Glanville has finally cottoned onto the fact that Yolanda was using her for the cameras:

    http://www.realitytea.com/2017/12/20/brandi-glanville-upset-yolanda-hadid-reading-book/

  10. We knew this was on the cards, right? re: Quad's separation.

Obvs it takes two to tango, and I'm sure her husband has contributed to their marriage problems. However, I Quad coming on this show and taking herself for the star of this show may have helped precipitate the demise of that marriage. Having a baby and being a doctor's wife ceased being a priority -- M2M and Quad's position on it became the only priority. And neither partner seemed ready to compromise on their priorities.

Aww I’ve actually really enjoyed this season. Jersey at one point was completely unwatchable, I thought this was a nice return to form. And it helps that there was a clear cut nutjob villain this season with a loyal henchman.

I was over Siggy after episode one, and she somehow solidifies to more and more each episode. The non acknowledgement of Marge’s apology to her non apology to Marge. This bitch is delusional. Hoping this is her final season.

I would agree that NJ is watchable again -- in a downsized, light way which it has never been before. Siggy aside, the toxicity has been reined in, and it feels more digestible in this 13-episode package. Let's be real, this is make or break for NJ after the past 3 or 4 seasons. And yes, Siggy seems to have embraced her role as the villain with no ambiguity.

She's still cuckoo, though. Seriously off. And I too thought her non-acknowledgement of Margaret's apology was spoiled, ill-mannered and rude. She'd be dead to me if she'd pulled that ish with me.

  12. @Cheap21 Not just a total b*tch, but I am convinced that Siggy is certifiable. All the HWs are probably nuts in one form or another, but Siggy is approaching Kelly-Bensimon-on-Scary-Island levels of unhinged. Kelly had the excuse of a possible chemical imbalance/mental break -- with Siggy it seems like the very act of joining RHoNJ has made her crazy. She is obsessed with her position on the show and making Margaret the enemy. She is still screaming all over Twitter about Soggy and Hitler and apparently has now sicced PETA on Margaret because M's hubby has some kind of stuffed animal in the family home? Sounds like outright harassment at this point; I'm not even that much of a Margaret fan, but I don't understand what she has done to receive this abuse.

It's not even for the show as Reunion and filming have both wrapped. Siggy seems like she is off her meds, big-time.

  13. What's interesting to me is how intimidated and competitive these BH housewives feel with each other. LVP is acutely aware that Bravo is pushing Erika as the 'queen' of BH. Dorit wants to be Erika with the glam squad and crazy VT looks. Rinna wants to be pimp momma Yolanda with her kids' modelling careers.

Actually it's funny to me how people say LVP holds a grudge; Rinna cannot let go of LVP/Munchausengate, or the Kim stuff, or even how Yolanda treated her. With Yolanda especially, I feel Rinna is dying to outdo her in the pimpmommy stakes. (And speaking of the OG pimpmommy, I hope the new modeling show/escort service Yolanda is peddling exposes her true unsavoury self).

Kyle has all this money now but still cannot dress for her height or shape. And weren't Birkin bags a thing 5 years ago?

Erika is so thirsty to be seen and be the hottest thing on Bravo. She and her YASS KWEEN glam squad are a bit exhausting. Whoever does her makeup is a genius, but her pigtailed VT look is an epic fail.

  14. You'd think she was, @DaytimeFan and @Nothin'ButAttitude  judging by the way WWHL and its guests build Erika up. They make it sound like she's the breakout star or BH (as opposed to a DWTS fourth-week vote-off). She is always on the show, too. BTW, is it just me, but was Kim Zolciak on like every WWHL in the last two weeks? Did she moves her 17 kids to NYC? Andy's bias is showing. She was all over Erika saying she was 'star-struck.' To Erika's credit, her makeup looked great and she also told Kim to her face that she really liked Kenya. I kind of loved her for that! Lol.

Anyway, going to watch BH in a few. I'm embarrassed for Harry Hamlin having to say a few words to Kyle about the effing bunny. It's beneath him.

Speaking of Rinna, her daughters have never wanted to be models. Those dead-eyed, barely-communicative kids just want to be famous. They've taken the worn-out Jenner/Hadid How To Be An InstaModel playbook in the hopes that lightening will strike thrice. To be a model, though, you do have to stand out and have expressiveness and I'm not sure these two have either. But Rinna is very competitive towards (and intimidated by) Yolanda, so this is highly personal. And she doesn't have the imagination to suggest other routes or career goals for her daughters. It's the fame game or nothing.

  15. 2 minutes ago, Cheap21 said:

I like Rinna's hair like that. LVP is a no for me. She looks too matronly. She's the oldest and that only exaggerates it

I like that it is off her forehead and opens up her face. I also like that she took a chance on her usual signature look. IMO it does look slightly electrocuted.

I'm just relieved LVP did something different with her hair. As for matronly, well, she is the oldest. This is especially noticeable with the cast which is skewing younger this season.

  16. RHOBH Premiere Party. I love that LVP tweaked her look!

Newly plumped cheeks. That Kyle By Ailene Too outfit makes her look stumpy.

This is not Dorit's best look. I actually do think Dorit's fashion credentials are legit, and I usually like her style, but here it all looks a bit messy. And wow she got some new ginormous boobs.

    Camille. Eh.

I forgot Teddi Mellencamp! Anyhoo, her look was pretty basic. I'm not sure Teddi is that into fashion like some of the others claim to be are.

Nah, I would say ATL has been uneven, but last night's episode was boring except for Kandi and the tea.

    @Cat and @DaytimeFan, I know you have thoughts. ;)

    As for mine...

Love Kyle's dress if not her tagline.

Erika with that hair touch was EVERYTHING and love her tagline.

Digging Dorit's new haircut, but that tagline is hm.

New girl looks like she has a gay BFF so could be interesting. Too early to tell on tagline.

    Ooooh, Lips...NEVER change. lol.

    LVP is LOVE.

I do. I cannot wait for the show to start! It's tonight, right? (P.S.: I also agree about Atlanta :( )

Kyle's tagline is basically a reconfiguration of her usual "I'm the luckiest and realest girl  in My Town with all my many friends, and my husband is rich now so I can always spot a fake" shtick.

Erika's languid hair touch really is pretty fab, and she looks good here.

Lipsa and LVP have the best taglines. Lipsa's is very ironic but that's Lipsa. LVP gets another Queen reference in her tag. Maybe it's contractual.

Like somebody else mentioned here, the ending with them all spaced out looks messy and isolating (and most of their gowns do them no favors with the exception of LVP's and Lipsa's). I preferred when they were all together in V formation, and we could all speculate about why so-and-so got centre spot that season.

  18. Oh, please stop talking, Matt Damon. Bending over backwards to cover his ass in case we might associate him too closely with Weinstein, and Ben and Casey Assfleck.

All this mansplaining. Nobody doubts there aren't plenty of men who do not sexual harass or assault. People are just trying to figure out the ones who DO so that they can be held accountable. I don't understand why this is such a source of anxiety and concern for Damon. <_< He sounds afraid we might hang, draw and quarter all men. When, let's be real, NONE of the accused have even been arrested or prosecuted yet!

This complicity in Hollywood is so ugh. Thinking about HW and how he destroyed people's careers who did not acquiesce to him -- he could not have done that alone. He called up his buddies at other studios and production companies and got them to blackball his targets, too. Everybody is involved right up to their necks.

On the upside, this story kind of made my day. http://dlisted.com/2017/12/17/west-beverlys-finest-says-he-punched-harvey-weinstein/

    Dun-dun dun-dun. Dun-dun dun-dun. Boosh boosh!

That's something I totally missed actually! :o Thank you for pointing that out. It either never occurred to him to apologize to the victims, or maybe he figured if he didn't acknowledge them directly, this whole might go away faster from a legal standpoint. It's clear from this missive he sees his chef's career continuing in the near future. Either way, he is scum.

The more I read it, the more it seems like some awful parody of a Mario Batali apology tweet -- but no, it's for real.

  20. All I see in that brutally short 'apology' is a PR exercise designed to protect Brand Batoli. The apology barely resonates, so buried is it beneath the multiple references to 'my fans' and 'I will work everyday to regain your respect and trust.' As if the brand isn't dead (which it probably isn't). It's like he's apologising for a piece of shell left in somebody's shrimp cocktail.

And then there's that Get The Recipe button. For cinnamon rolls. Because a hard day's predation makes Alpha Dawg HONGRAY.

Do people really think that Baldwin and Apatow are liberal heroes?  This is the first time I've heard of this!

I know that Baldwin has a history of being verbally abusive toward the women in his life (and possibly physically abusive) and Apatow's portrayal of women in films has been described as leaving a lot to be desired (I admit to seeing very little of Apatow's work).

Didn't we discuss t he Murray Miller/Lena Dunham matter a few pages back?  There was a black blogger who used to write for Dunham's blog and quit and wrote and open letter that put her on blast for her comments about Perrineau. Perhaps it was discussed elsewhere and I'm thinking it was here.  I would be surprised if anyone was checking for anything Dunham says. Her narcissism is well documented by now.

I've talked to other friends about the very interesting dynamic of how Black women's views have continually been disregarded from the election to the revamped #MeToo movement (see the reaction to Lupita N'yongo compared to everyone else).

Those of us who are Black women are not surprised by the immediate pushback on Perrineau's allegations-- this the history of Black women in America (see Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings, to Anita Hill ) whose stories and feelings are usually discounted.

This is only new and a surprise to others.

Yep you are right, we dragged Lena Dunham a couple of pages back. I had hoped her career as the human foghorn would now be over, but clearly her close personal friend AND exec producing partner Judd Apatow thinks she deserves another chance! Follow the money, folks! That's the only reason Apatow is piping up.

I can only echo what you are saying about black women. It feels like even with some of these stories coming out, some black women are being muffled or shushed for speaking out. Dunham saying Aurora Perrineau going to the LAPD was the 3% of false rape cases reported for libel was so shocking and egregious a statement, I don't think I can ever really forgive it. She should be sued for slander.

I admit to enjoying Anchorman, Bridesmaids and 40-Year Old Virgin, but I don't think Judd Apatow has ever been a friend to the feminist movement. The sad thing is, he and Dunham probably think they have been. Neither realise how coddled and hopelessly out of touch they are.

Mario Batali, huh. It was only a matter of time before this touched the restaurant business.

She was talking sh-t about Kenya just last month! Said she doesnt beleive the marriage is real, thinks she's a liar and said she should be fired. I really wanted to see Kenya call her out but she knows how to play the game and get free publicity for herself and the show. You dont see Nene or Porsha swallowing their pride and using this show to promote Bravo. Its why the producers like her bc she's a team player. Wendy had to backpeddle and didnt dare come for her bc she knows Kenya would have no shame throwing her husband's cheating in her face

Wow, really? Guess I haven't been keeping up on WW in recent weeks (apart from when she collapsed on air in her statue of liberty costume).

Kenya played the game super well yesterday, but an evil part of me wishes Wendy would have gotten messy just so Kenya could snap back about mistresses living in apartments 20 minutes from the family home.

Just the other day Tamara Tattles was saying that Porsha's position on the show was locked-in because of the alleged Bravo exec she is blowing she is big on social media and brings in the highly-desirable youth demographic! I hope this is totally unfounded! :o

Obvs Bethenny is moderately better than she was in S8. But I can't get over how awful she and Carole were to Luann and Jules! She is awful to all these women, threatening them to stay in line and lording her power over them. It makes me seethe how Screech dominates everything. I want to watch Dorinda, not Beth in her cold, soulless show apartment with that SkinnyGirl bar! The only reason I want Jill Zarin back is to see Bethenny lose it, lol.

In NJ news, apparently Soggy was tweeting up a storm about Margaret over the weekend over the Hitler comment. 🙄. Can this be her last season? She’s not even enjoyable to watch at this point. I feel like the Housewives these days have lost the art of making us love to hate them. I find now instead of wanting to watch some ladies, I just want them removed entirely.

That and vow renewals! The Judges are about to do up a home they probably cannot fully afford (it's all for the show, I imagine) and that's when the Bravo axe drops! I also remember Aviva buying a duplex to film in because the housing association at her actual apartment didn't want Bravo filming there. We saw it during S6 of NYC. Then she got canned.

Your last statement about Siggy is how I feel about Bethenny! :D But yeah Siggy is a PITA with her unhinged Tweeting. Her hate for Margaret is reaching ridiculous levels now. She looks like a loon and a bully.
