No money! Not EVER! Reputable agents work on commission. Your work sells, they get usually 15% (and 15% of royalties going forward etc). There are a lot of scummy "agents" out there. If you google it, there is some list of the must avoid/worst agents.

As for TQ, I suspect we'll see her this week. I think she's simply not around because of TG's surgery. I have the feeling that took everyone by surprise, because the spoilers were mentioning them and then everything stalled. Don't know if we'll ever hear the reason, but he obviously did a number on that knee. And Tracy being homeless and penniless, has no one to play off of but Luke and a little of Monica.

Here's my positive, thread-bumping contribution. We know Tracy and Luke have some H&R story coming up so hopefully she'll be on next week. Viva la Lunacy! Lunacy 4eva!

I can't speak for LA, but having lived in NYC all my life, I have run into many a soap or broadway actress over the years, that pretty much would have been considered by the tabloids, to look like crap, donning regular clothes like sweats and hats without make-up, much like a blank canvas.

I totally agree, TL. I visited the set of OLTL in college and saw actors practicing their scenes. ES was dressed like a midwesterner ready for a day at Disney World. Huge sweatshirt and a (I kid you not) a visor. She totally looked like most of my friends moms ready to volunteer at the booster rally. I've also seen FH and JB (from AMC) look normal and scrubby.

BTW, Stephen Nichols looks like Kid Rock there...

I never thought of it that way before, remos, but you're right. And kudos to you missjane for your TQ fast. That would be a tough one for me! I gave up going out to brunch. Brunch is my fav meal. Especially in the city. Me and the hubba usually go out for brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Here's the thing: I think Luke should be begging and pleading. And I don't think she should take him back so quickly. So today was touching and a bit hot (could have and should have been hotter!). But I don't believe they should be in this place to begin with. I think it was wrong, and completely out of character, for TIIC to have Luke run off as he did after weeks of telling Tracy how much he loves her. So what's happening makes sense, but it shouldn't be happening. They shouldn't be broken up. We shouldn't be arguing about whether or not they will get back together. The whole thing ticks me off big time. grrrrrrr.

Yes, I just checked out the new Tracy/Luke site! I like the colors and it's good to have that info handy so we always know where it is. The site was put together by NancySpencer and the idea for a site did not just come from me, it came from Nancy as well and a need to have a place for the promotion of our fave couple. I'm a fan of the new outfit. In some shots it was a little shiny, but overall I liked the cut and the color looked pretty darn good. Go wardrobe!

Ilovetq and anyone else who is planning on writing...write whatever you want, that is great, but I was told that you should keep your letters focused and not mention other characters, etc in phone calls. For example, if it is a lunacy letter or phone call you are making, don't mention the Quartermaines in general or don't say, Oh I also like Tracy and lulu or whatever cause then they have to tally whoever you mention and they won't bother sometimes if too many are mentioned.

The insider person said to keep it strictly to the character/pairing you are advocating. However, if you want to write a stuart letter, write one, or a Tracy/Monica, by all means write em!

I'm going to try to swing by the BR. I was in the middle of writing a complicated work email. I hit send, but my remote mailbox was too full to send it, so the email just disappeared. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So annoyed. Back to the drawing board.
