No [!@#$%^&*] BSG!!! So sounds like we at least get a schmoopy hit the road scene. It is going to be a long, lonely summer with no Lunacy or Tracy for a while.

True, true, true. It's not that I want the lack of LuNacy or Tracy on my screen. But how many times last summer did we say we were sick of Luke's freaking disappearing act and why the heck couldn't he take Tracy with him? TG's vacay schedule is a given. It sucks that we can't see the Luke and Tracy adventure on screen, but Luke taking Tracy on one of his adventures is a huge step for them as a couple. So I'm happier with them hitting the road for a while rather than having Tracy unceremoniously left behind again.

Besides we have Luke and Tracy's Excellent Summer Adventure to look forward to.

Tracy leaves with Luke after he convinces her with his words of love and devotion. Unbeknowst to him, he had her at ILY.

I can't believe it!!! I ran all the way home like a mad woman from a doc appt I had today to try and watch their scenes before work, and they rob us like that!! I am soooo MFn p'o'd I can't tell you! I must have called that comment line like 10 times and had someone from work call and my kid too! I'm sure the FBI will be knocking on my door any minute.

The unexpected answer is so for next week when she says she will leave with him. I have no faith that they will be on tomorrow or TH or F this week. Although someone did say on SD that they think the Lusam scenes were added in today with GV cause he was not supposed to be back til the 16th on screen. Someone said they think they shot those and edited them in cause he is on tomorrow too.

Maybe that is why some might be bumped.

But dont' listen to me. I am totally negative and in a really bummed out mood right now. I really hate when they do stupid stuff...how the hell is she supposed to go from where she is today to leaving town with him and giving up her home, job, etc to go on the run by next wed. if they are not on again. The storm starts on Friday the 16th, ends the 21st supposedly.

I am taking me and my negativity out of here for a while. I KNOW for a FACT the kissing, ring slipping on was in the breakdowns for today and Tracy caving in to him. So it was either cut or moved.

Ok. I'm going to think positively and hope for the best that the kissing and ring slippage is on tomorrow. I know some people are bummed and feel like today wasn't enough, but I'm looking forward to seeing the clips when they are up. Ok, we're all bummed because we've been let down in the past, we know TG (and maybe JE's) time is short on the show for the summer, and if it all doesn't happen at once it feels like it won't happen, but I'm going to keep the faith that we'll have some good LuNacy stuff coming our way.

Yes, our couple deserves way more than they are getting. They are the best freakin' part of the show. They deserve more airtime. More of an actual storyline (especially since their drama is um, actually compelling). BUT! They are taking steps towards being together again. No soap relationship is without drama. If she goes on the road with him (yeah sucks for us viewers) but OMG, that would be huge for their relationship. Huge for Luke to want a woman with him (no wandering). And HUGE for TQ to leave ELQ and her nutso fam for her hubba. The writers on GH seem to equate going on the run with "true love". And we know that's what LuNacy have goin' on.

That's my positivity for today. If anyone has clips to share, I'd love to see them!

As for Tracy running the HS - my guess (and sincere hope) is that technically she's 'in charge,' but she let's Sam run the day to day things. It makes sense because A.) Sam needs a job. B.) Would allow TIIC to keep the HS running with a "favorite character" and allows for all sorts of Sammie interactions.

I really, really hope she's doing some hands on running of the HS. I'd love to see that (and it would mean that we might get to see her a little this summer).

Now that your children on the show are adults and a lot of the old guard are gone, especially with the recent demise of Stuart Damon [Alan Quartermaine], what's it been like to see this whole changeover?

Well, I've been very, very lucky in the last five years or so to be able to work with Jane Elliot [Tracy Quartermaine], because I've been a huge fan of her for my entire career in soaps. She and I are both the same age, and I think she was on the show a year before I was. She also came and went and did other shows. But because I have this compadre, this colleague who shares my history and my history with the show, I haven't felt as isolated.... So I've been really fortunate to be able to grow and mature without resentment because it is difficult when you were the focus of the show and having great story all the time to be back-burnered and sort of moved over into the more supporting category, unless you have someone as spectacular as Jane to work with. And that has been really a saving grace for me in the last few years. Plus, you know I've been on the show long enough to demand a lot of time off, so that also helps. [Laughs]

I had to think about this for a minute, but the Markam Island part is correct. Luke went there twice. The first time was Jan. 2006 after Tracy's car went into the lake. He returned to PC later that month with the chimp and the virus. The second time was April after he got the call from Holly. (Robert had returned just before, wanting to extradite him, and LuNacy were going to renew their vows to delay the extradition).

Oh, you're totally right! I was thinking Markham take 2.

Also, in defense of SOD, the show has re-worked it, so that Luke did put Coleman in Tracy's bed the night of the honeymoon. It's stupid, since that's not what we saw, but on their one year anniversary, after Tracy realized Robert was in bed with her, Luke had a line about going through all this trouble to recreate their honeymoon. And then Tracy said something like, "Oh yes, when you drugged me and you set me up with that dirt bag Coleman!"

Did she say honeymoon or wedding night? B/c technically I suppose Luke put Coleman in her bed during their "honeymoon period" since it was shortly after they got married...

But getting the year wrong of their marriage irritates me so much... It's wrong on SOC too, even though when I submitted an update to the biography (once upon a time, SOC was looking for people to update the bio's; in fact, they probably still are), I noted that the year was 2005. But I guess they accidentally skipped over that part.

I'm also a little iffy on the whole Alcazar/hospital board thing... I might be slipping!!! But from what I remember, the month before (June) that Tracy said if Luke acted like a devoted husband and helped her solidify her position as CEO of ELQ (this would take 3 months), she would grant him the divorce. In late July, there was a board meeting, and Skye had the deciding vote for the new CEO but chose Alcazar. Tracy had previously locked her in a broom closet offscreen, but Luke freed her. When Tracy found out about this, she basically noted that their 3 month deal was off and that she wouldn't be granting him a divorce.

All right. I just did some research via transcripts, 'cause this was bugging me. LOL. Tracy did offer Luke the money and divorce in exchange for saving the hospital, but there was never a mention of the divorce after it all backfired --> Carly got Tracy's job (something that SOD didn't even mention, which I think played more of an important role than Alcazar on the board of directors) and Alcazar got a place on the board. The next mention of the divorce was about the CEO of ELQ thing (see above). So, I guess, in the end, SOD got it half right.

Maybe if we all email about the wedding date they will fix it...

That's what I was thinking about the hospital thing. Carly got her place on the board. I knew I could count on you, Ms. Q!

I was going to mention that the wedding date is wrong, and the escape to Maarkam thing is wrong. In addition, the wording of question six was sort of wrong ("sort of"). Luke slipped Coleman into Tracy's bed after the honeymoon night -- several days later when they were back in Port Chuck.

I'm with you on that one. I love it when she starts to whisper then her voice cracks. She doesn't need the waterworks - her voice conveys her emotions. And you know when she whispers it's as raw and honest as she gets.
