Dear TPTB,

I've been a very good fan--ok maybe very good is a little generous-- but I've at least been patient. I miss my favorite daytime family. No, not the Corinthoses. I'm talking about the Quartermaines. I'd like to see more of them on my screen stat. More Edward. More Monica. And especially more Tracy and Mr. Tracy Quartermaine. And couldn't you please, please, pretty please give us a few more Qs on the canvas? Yes, yes, I know that Jacob is someday going to be revealed as a Q. And plans are probably in the works to make him 15 in time for next summer's sweeps, but in the interim, how about bringing AJ back from the dead. Come on. You're the writers, you guys bring people back from the dead all the time. I'd also like to see Dillon and Ned back in town and not just for the occasional funeral or ELQ shareholders meeting. Brook Lynn, too. And while you're at it, can Claudia Zacchara please be Tracy's long lost daughter? JE and SB are too awesome together not to explore giving them a mother daughter relationship. And just think how Eddie will react.

Ok, I've said my piece and I don't want to keep you from your keyboards and concocting some amazing character driven stories with roots in the rich history of Port Charles and General Hospital.

Hair: It's definitely growing. Wish it had some more ooomph.

Outfit: I liked it. It was a welcome repeat unlike that horrible teal thing that I hope we are never subjected to again.

I liked that Nik and Tracy were sitting down to eat together and discussing Lulu. I think it's nice the way that Nik and Lucky pretty much accept her now as Luke's wife. Nik with his own ghost Emily stuff has been a bit out of the Spencer orb, so it's good to see him interacting with his extended family.

Totally agree about Kin phoning it in. Oy. Sometimes he's just so wiseguy cartoony it's unreal. I was sad that they didn't use that opportunity to show a little emotion from Scott and I was furious that he would even insinuate that Tracy had something to do with it. Uh, dude, your son who you don't even care about isn't even with her step daughter anymore. The contrast between JE and KS in that scene was pretty amazing. We saw a whole host of emotions with Tracy--reluctance to tell Scott the bad news, concern for him when he finds out, disgust when he suggested she could be behind it etc). I loved seeing Nik defend Tracy and that he even went so far as to physically get up to step between them. Such a gentleman.

I can't be convinced the above were FAKE!Spoilers. I get that magazines get information well enough in advance that there is time for it to change, but there's a difference between straight up fake scoop and something that was changed last minute. Plus, ABC.com had most of this in their recaps, proving to me all this was supposed to air. And didn't. And I know things get cut all the time in the soap opera world (Greg Vaughan used to talk about watching GH and being like WTH! They cut like 3/4 of the scenes I filmed!), but it bothers me when it happens to Tracy 'cause she doesn't get that all that much to begin with.

While I was on youtube, I forced myself to watch some LnL, so I could affirm what I already knew...the "super couple" has about as much chemistry as two cantaloupes. Seriously, sexy they are not.

hooked, looks like you called it about TIIC changing the person who was supposed to tell Scotty about Logan... I really, really believed (from the recap wording) that Tracy was going to tell him, got preoccupied with something else, and then Nik had to tell him. BUT... Per SON Previews, Tracy still tells him. I bet their info is outdated. Right now, I am VERY angry with TIIC! How awesome would Tracy/Scotty have been?

It's one thing if it's supposed to her but like I said, something comes up (i.e. she gets a call from Luke or something and runs out of there so fast, letting Nik take care of it). But for TIIC to actually CHANGE THE SCRIPT?! What a rip off. Heaven forbid she gets an extra minute or so of screentime... :angry: Now am I being reminded of the other goodness they cut/changed... I would actually not mind Laura finding out about Luke and Tracy, even if Luke isn't back. It would be so soapy for this scene to happen:

Lulu: Mom, your awake, OMG (in a shrieking voice with a scowl on her face)

Tracy: Bursts into the room and hugs lulu..."Lulu, there you are sweetheart, I was frantic when you were not in your room. I just talked to your father and he is coming home to us as soon as he can. Alice is getting your room ready for you to come home with us where you belong!"

Laura: WTF? What is Tracy Quartermaine hugging you for and calling you sweetheart?

Tracy: OMG Laura...you're awake?

Lulu: Mom, um...let's talk later about this, you're awake I need you and this after all is ALL ABOUT ME!!!!

Some more...this person seems to be legit, but grain of salt...if this is true, I know things can change on a dime, but...doens't seem like Luke and Laura will have a big reunion.

Foreseeable Insider: Do you know if JE has taped at all for August yet or will still have random lulu scenes throughout the month or will they ship her offscreen to go find Luke? I know you said she was having some scenes and then would not be on til August. I am hanging on by a thread...hoping Tracy will have a bit more when lulu goes nuts or when luke returns.

Her airtime will increase when Luke comes back and they are staying married at least through the fall.

She also spilled when I asked that Laura does wake up, not just in lulu's head.

So I would guess that if she does wake up, and luke and Tracy stay married, that Luke either doesn't reuinte with her and she slips back away or she has to be sent off somewhere to get treatment or something?

I just received an email from abc.com about next weeks spoilers and I read this article about GF's return........

So we've just picked ourselves off the ground ... because we fainted (though we had great accessories on, keeping in true soap opera fashion) from sheer, unbridled excitement. Genie Francis is coming back to "General Hospital" as Laura Spencer! THE Laura Spencer. Of Luke and Laura fame.

In case you have been vacationing on Pluto for the last two decades, you know that Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura were the biggest thing since sliced bread back in the day. Their wedding was watched by more people than any other daytime television broadcast EVER. Elizabeth Taylor even showed up (in a turban, natch) to curse them. Genie was last seen on the show in 2006, when Laura came out of her catatonic state (the reason the character exited in 2002) thanks to a new medicine. Too bad the medicine didn't have a permanent effect: She slipped back into a vegetative state, but not before remarrying her true love, Luke. So Luke was married to Tracy at the time, but it was the symbolic gesture of it that counted.

So what's the deal? Why is Laura coming back? First, because Laura Spencer is awesome. Second ... well, we don't want to spoil anything too much, but let's just say that Laura's love for her daughter, Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) is more powerful than science, medicine, earth, wind, and fire (which is a great band, BTW).

But what will she do when she finds out Luke is married to uber-wicked Tracy (Jane Elliot)?

So many questions! Regardless, look for Genie to first air on August 26.

I'm all for good material for Tracy and if this story provides it, great. But seriously if the writers pi$$ all over LuNacy for some stupid LnL cr@p, I am so done with this show. Grrrrrrrrgh.

That has more credibility than the rumour de jour. I think it's wishful thinking - esp. the 'reunion' part. There are many way to 'reunite' and only one is to permanently run off into the sunset. There are still some LnL diehards who still want to believe in it.

The story right now, even as it's gag-worthy, is Lulu. And if GF herself says it's only a mother/daughter thing, than I'm inclined to believe that.

I would love her to discover Tracy is the real Mrs. Spencer, though. Guza created LuNacy and he's obviously not inclined towards ewcbo/LnL so that's in our favour.
