Well I guess this wasn't so bad for a 3 set sweep in a final. (cough, kidding but probably not).

Saw a clip on Twitter, what a crack up. One of the ESPN announcers was going over a leader's list of some kind and reading it and said, Federer and someone was moving up on passing Uh-Vert. About records or grand slam semis or something. Uh Vert. A girl had recorded it and said 'UH VERT!??" and sent it to Chrissie. And the girl had retweeted it and said, uh, it's EV-ERT and she's kind of your...COWORKER. Chrissie replied with the laughing so hard/crying Emoji. Pam Shriver replied...something like...I tried to beat her but she averted my attempts 18 times in a row! Where do they get these hosts/announcers? Anyone else see this?

Has anyone argued over whose portrait should be above the mantle yet? Anyone fallen or shoved off a balcony and lost a shoe? Anyone texted with someone non-stop and then suddenly texting doesn't work or they need to talk to them in person (for some reason) to tell them something and then (insert accident) happens? Something happens somewhat important, but no one lives in Los Angeles actually because no one ever sees anything important and there are only security cameras when they feel like it. I just read stuff and laugh...the whole show hasn't been anything but stupid plots for years. Just got old for me and I don't even read about it now other than passing by these threads. I don't know how people sit through it. I laughed when I saw Woods say something about how they needed to tell the addiction story accurately and carefully. From what I read it lasted like 3 days or something. Yeah, people address their addictions and get over them in one week I guess. Very accurate and emotional. LOL. It really is a shame that I saw they had Daytime Emmys and they were on CBS??? I haven't even looked at a list to see who won because it would be depressing that it couldn't be a tie that no one won.

The thing I can't believe is just the total discounting that these women were all in it for the fame. ??? How on Earth do they all have such similar stories of how it happened and it's not like they all KNEW each other. I know, we're going back years at this point even with the case itself and this has all been said. I don't know how Phylicia stands herself, and I wonder what Howard thinks about their decision now. And in my head I know that none of these women were more important than another, but I cannot get out of my head Beverly Johnson. OK, so say any one of the other women want attention (it's clear to me that they didn't), but how do you explain Johnson with the SAME story, and she doesn't NEED the attention...her career speaks for itself - there's NOTHING in it for her. And above, you all pointed it out. Men. Hey, I'm a gay man but I say it all the time, when conservative women get on their high horse about (now I'm talking about the Karens out there) - about men should marry women, no Adam and Steve, etc. - you know the old school type. I've more than once said on boards and to faces - hey, I might be gay, but guess what, I could say I'm a man and that makes me up the totem pole from ya sweets. So you can go the biology route if you want and gripe about who is using whose bathroom, but I'm still a man and you can go fight that battle all day but it's true. So have a seat. And lets not forget, these men not only get away with it, they become Supreme Court justices.

I forgot to inform you, unfortunately I will not be playing Wimbledon or any of the tournaments for the rest of the year. It's a very personal choice and I'm listening to my body, my trainer, and I've also fired my coach, and have filed a lawsuit against my financial advisor. For some reason I have what I believe to be missing funds from all of my accounts from all of my Tennis-related income. I apologize to my fans, but this is in my best interest. I'll be tweeting a little later, and I know I'm in your thoughts and prayers.

I keep asking, what did these people do during the layoff/Covid limited schedules for a year? Lay around and eat bonbons? I don't know that I've ever seen so many injuries and dropping-outs. Olympics, I wouldn't go there either, but just the walking over and dropping out of it all.

Pretty much sums up B&B and why I became disinterested. Characters that are on for years and have no real meaning. Quinn was written as a cartoon type of character - I didn't care one ounce about her no matter what redemption they tried to make or her cockamamy stories or obsession over her son, who I also never cared about. Bring in Shauna and Flo and try and give them all some kind of backstory. Rush everything you can rush. That guy Steffy married - Liberty Biberty guy - felt like a throwaway character from the beginning. I really can't think of a character on the show I cared about, everyone felt annoying to me. Tired of Brooke and her thirsty vagina...Ridge isn't appealing to me, Bill is also a cartoon character - didn't care about him. Insta-plots with holes everywhere. One note show that pretty much struggled telling more than one story at a time. Now give it an emmy for best writing and best show. One exception for me was young Sally - they missed the boat on that one and it was obvious to me. She was gritty, had chemistry with pretty much everyone and they had a chance with that character. They blew it and I can't even think of what they were thinking...some people have star quality that you can't put your finger on, and to me she had it. I'm going to have to catch up on reading the re-caps if I can bear to get through that... I actually think Deacon had potential but they wrote him as a doofus character when I was trying to watch regularly. This Hope never resonated with me - whining, perfect, sanctimonious never-do-wrong like her mother. I could stand the other Hope for whatever reason. I realized there was 'nothing to see here', kind of like Y&R - I don't even read recaps of Y&R anymore. I pass by after the noon news has gone off, and before I change the channel I see Y&R and don't know who many of the faces are LOL. Both shows struggled for me in making me care at all. Bad news for a soap.

Wow...sounds interesting...and I came here to see if anyone had posted about seeing JMW on Entertainment Tonight talking about how well done the addiction storyline was and her 'best actress' nomination. I hadn't read about all of this Vinny stuff, if I'd known I would have tuned in just to see that. It sounds like another well-done storyline.

Youngkin the Trumpkin is going to ride whatever he can to get in office, from the claim that he 'flipped eggs' to pull himself up by the bootstraps and soon it will undoubtedly become the flag waving only-he-is -Murican and he grew up very poor that will resonate with the crowd (you know who they are). They'll believe it as he waxes brilliance and the plight of those who are impoverished and small-business owners from his home in Great Falls.

I haven't watched since March but read about it and this topic board once in a while...whenever Finn came on it was pretty obvious he was going to be another useless character to cause angst among the main triangle/quadrangle...I'm surprised to still read about him.

Well I watched the first 2 sets and my sister messaged me and said "Joker is down 2 sets!" I replied and said, yeah, at least Tsitsipas can say he won 2 sets when Novak wins. Went out for a run, worked in the yard, and watched the last episode of Bridgerton because believe it or not I still hadn't seen it - I had saved it. Then I checked NBC and saw - shocker (cough) that the match we've all seen before happened. Yawn. I'm such a cynical gay man hahahahahaha. Really, I don't dislike Novak just because really, he's been the least favorite among the top 3 usuals and he's had the game over the years to back it up but kind of does not get the respect that the other 2 get. Federer will always be my favorite among them but I can't hate on Joker. It is what it is, but I still think the French was a total bust. I've been losing weight (down from hovering around 175 to 180) and down to 155 now...trying to get lower in hopes that Wimbledon comes through with some excitement and I will eat biscuits and cream and strawberries like crazy.

Chris Evert said it was a match for the ages - so I'm sure they'll be airing it again and again as an 'Instant Classic', or repeat when nothing else is available to air. Like a choice between this and a CanJam or Cornhole Championship or the Minecraft World Championships.

I've tried to watch but it's been a total bust this year. It seems like so many players must have spent the time off and a lighter schedule figuring out how not to play or get injured. I say that jokingly but...seriously. So much drama, injuries, or whatever that I don't even care. A friend of mine on Facebook posted about all the drama being off the court or just walkovers and injuries or showing up but then basically not being a factor...and a friend of hers replied that there had been a lot of great matches. I wonder what tournament he's watching because I haven't seen anything even remotely interesting although I'll admit I haven't been paying a ton of attention. But it seems like a bust...we could have probably formed a dead-pool and had more fun betting on who would be the next fly to drop.

I think I had quit watching during that time too...didn't know about those. One thing B&B is good at - people in car crashes and falling off of something and losing a shoe.

I only lurk now but this makes me laugh. Let me guess, no one was around either. No one actually lives anywhere around Los Angeles and no one drives on those roads if it's B&B.

I stopped watching Y&R and B&B altogether. I used to post once in a while but it's been 2+ months that I've seen one minute of either. All 4 shows remaining will be around for awhile, and their ratings could tank through the basement and they'll still be on the air. They have on their side the fact that there is literally nothing to replace them with, especially after Ellen announced this coming year is her last and the Talk is so far in the dregs it's just further proof that for the most part talk shows are not working. Kelly and Tamron had the luck of somewhat OK ratings and that's all anyone can hope for now. 3rd and 4th hours of Morning shows re-branded as GMA3 or Today in the afternoon will not work now.

I haven't seen her but about 8 months or a year ago the show made a huge announcement about their new exciting stylist that would be better than ever. Very qualified and talented. The times I've watched? Haven't seen it. I think she's Italian if I remember. So she knows fashion.

Tuned in the end and saw Hope and da Brick and damn they’re both awful. So is Liam but Hope and Brooke have immediately jumped into another man’s bed before. Hope is just miserable to watch. They’re both whores. It's only a matter of time until Hope sleeps with Thomas and Brooke decides to follow her heart and jumps Bill's bones again.

That's her. I just think it's stupid when they have an accent and then suddenly lose it. Same with Zoe and Xander on B&B.

Zoey and Zander from B&B own this - so dumb. The explanation was to see who could lose the accent the longest. That Pilar girl from Y&R was bad also with the fake Yack Jack. Lost her accent over 1 day. Pathetic
