I voted. But YEP. BIG YEP! I am done. I will look for the rest of my life for a "D" on the ballot. Not that I didn't before, but there were rare occasions in my town where I voted Republican. That will no longer happen. I was young, gay and stupid when I did that. They are the ones who busy themselves with driving issues between people. Roe Vs. Wade shouldn't even be a DISCUSSION. IT'S LAWFUL. They constantly insert themselves into other people's lives when it's convenient for them. I'm so TIRED OF IT. By the way - Baron wears a T-Shirt that says "Expert" on it. LOLLLLLL. I'm in Northern VA, voted Northam but I had to force myself to go honestly because I know I'll be looking for the "D" on the ballot when the election comes no matter who wins the primary. The ads here have been interesting with the Republican candidate running weird pro-Trump messaging. I laughed when I heard it. And then said he was the only one who could "beat the Democrats".

We get this to look forward to for 4 years. I could care less about the Sessions stuff - nothing is going to come out of this - and this administration will be 4 years of a Reality TV show with breaking news every single day. It's like watching a scripted TV program. Off topic board I know - and we know soaps won't last forever, but this will be the end of Daytime TV as we know it. And I don't understand why when something like this is going on - why every single network has to cover it...I tuned in to see Ellen, not this testimony. If I want to watch it I can find it on like - CNN, MSNBC or 6 other stations. I'm not watching NBC, CBS, or ABC one over the other for coverage like this especially when it's just testimony....there are no "hosts" or "anchors" while it's going on for me to care which network I'm watching.

I loved Jean (SP?) Carole - Nadine. I remember back when they had the SOD Awards (Guiding Light and World Turns fans pretty much never got our way because we just weren't rabid enough to go buy up every magazine and mail in 100 ballots each) - but Jean Carole one year won "Favorite New Character" or "Favorite New Actress" or something. It was very odd for Guiding Light have someone win a popularity contest/voting contest...was a huge mistake to kill her off. Of course everyone knows the worst kill-off in Daytime ever is probably Maureen. But this show went on a penchant for killing off beloved characters....they did it with Nadine and then Jenna also.

I'm right there too. This little snowflake is done. I said in another post - open up all the coal mines, let them die of black lung because they get a paycheck and no healthcare. We get what we want faster that way. I'm tired of being caring, thoughtful, and empathetic. I hope she comes back and eclipses the *itch. One article I read....Martina had made a comment about Margaret and Margaret said something like...Martina should focus on the problems in her own country. Reminds me of a Designing Women episode...you know what? We ain't all crazy here. But you know what we do with our crazy people? We don't hide them upstairs, we bring them right down here and let them talk to you. In the South we say it's not a matter of whether you HAVE crazy people in your family - it's just a matter of which side of the family they're on. They were talking about this issue (well, he's got more issues than Vogue magazine but) on The View - about how he convinced his supporters that everything is fake news except for what he says. He's the only one telling the truth and that's what they think. So of course he'll tweet the entire time about Comey and his supporters will eat it up. I hope he incriminates himself. Has himself a few brewski's and then tweets something blockbuster.

If they do make a statement it will be a bunch of B.S. that - we just need more guns and less regulation. If you just teach people to be responsible gun owners then everything will be fine. We just need more guns and more education and training on how to use them. I've never ever understood this narrative. The Sandy Hook Shooter knew how to use a gun.

Do you remember the incident that happened between that *itch Henin and Serena that year? I don't remember exactly what happened but something with Henin putting her hand up for Serena to wait, and then Serena waited and either faulted because she tried to stop her serve - it was something like that and then Henin stood there looking stupid...not admitting that she held her hand up and asked for Serena to wait, and then the crowd started whistling and jeering SERENA. It was so dirty. I was always a French Open fan but that did it for me and that crowd. And I'm not even a Serena homer...that was just dirty.

I said earlier this week - there was nothing injured about Mladenovic Mag-face. She milks anything she can and plays alot of gamesmanship. She argued with an umpire for 3 minutes - found out she could get away with it, and then did it again. She is a total hack. She is a fake and a hack. She gets "injured", then runs around afterward like a kid on crack. She sucks. She'll win though so that's all that matters.

I wonder what people's thoughts are about Serena returning after the baby? I've actually wondered if she will be able to do it with any success. Evonne Goolagong was one...and Kim Clijsters I believe returned but I don't know if she won anything. I don't remember. Getting the weight off is a bigger issue than people think, even if you don't have anything to do but train and diet. And it's when...after the baby is 6 months, do you wait a year? And you never know - will tennis just become secondary afterwards. I think she'll have the will but it will be interesting to see what her stamina is, and maybe even if - she just gets in marginal shape but just plays anyway and plays herself into shape. Even if she's marginal she'll still be better than 75% of the players out there.

What's funny is that he cited "Pittsburgh". Pittsburgh is the place that figured it out - they reinvented themselves when their main industry shut down. I'm missing something....how are their lives already astoundingly better? What has he done that is so great...his job performance? With the crazy tweets, the complete constant disruption....what on Earth do they think the media is to blame? It's laughable....they're reporting the NEWS. They're not MAKING HIM SAY what he says and ACT the way he does. They're just telling you about it...and Hel* don't even watch the news....just read his tweets for yourself and see if you can make any kind of sense out of it. But no offense to anyone, but thanks for just confirming I have no desire whatsoever to go to Kansas, Oklahoma, etc.

Interesting, so they confirmed that Hawkeye is not accurate? For years players have complained about it, and there have been times on TV when I will be watching and think....that ball may have been in/out but there's no way it was by that much. This scene was a scream - they played it on Tennis Channel today...the guy screaming and yelling when the other one double faulted? I don't know either of these players and honestly I don't care if it's unsportsmanlike....if someone acted that way to me in a match I wouldn't shake his hand either. The wave was funny! LOL

Kerber has been awful...but that was a pretty rotten draw for a 1st round match....whoever she was used to be pretty good. I hadn't heard of her in a while... The Jen Brady match vs. Mladenovic - eh. There wasn't anything wrong with Mladenovic I don't think - it's just gamesmanship. She didn't like the way she felt in the 1st set so called for a trainer to give herself a little restee-poo. Then every now and then when you lose a point you grimmace a little and grab your back. Then on the very next point she's running around like an 8 year old on candy crack retrieving balls left and right. Then in the last set when a point didn't go her way after a long game she argues the mark....chair umpire was horrible because she fell for it. Stands there and talks to her for 3 minutes about why she's not changing the call. Keep complaining to see how long you can stand there because she needed another restee-poo. Free timeout. And Brady is standing there waiting to serve her game...will probably tighten her up a bit if I keep this up. Hey wow, look at that, it worked. A little later....wow I need restee poo. YES as luck would have it - another mark close to the line! Bring chair umpire down to check the mark, and stand and talk for another 2 or 3 minutes. That umpire was horrible. I don't understand - I don't know - do they not have the challenge system just because it's on clay? In the above instances the call was correct they said and then Davenport said something like...but I understand why they don't show it on Hawkeye, so. Well - I don't understand it...the chair umpire or player could conceivably call the wrong mark - so why not have Hawkeye in place, make her challenge it, and be done with it.

Unless it's a Slam I usually don't pay attention until the really later rounds....but I'm looking back and daily play and Kerber go her butt kicked??
