In 2006 the Senate was not supposed to flip, but it did and only came into contention at the last minute. That was the same map that is up now, except Democrats have more seats to defend. If Midwest and Rust Belt backlash that shows up against the controlling party in midterms is particularly harsh then Republicans could lose the Senate.

There is a small Twitter back and forth between locals where I live about Antonio Sabato Jr. One of the resident right-wingers used the Kaepernick meme to claim Sabato had sacrificed and ended up blacklisted. Then the left leaning folks came out saying that these thirsty housewives were just drooling over a washed up soap star and posted his gay softcore pictures. It is a mess but is fun to watch because I am not engaging in it (although I did make a passing comment that Sabato doesn't get work because he can't act).

John Loprieno (Cord Roberts, OLTL) is head of the theatre department at Moorpark College which is one of the community colleges in the county I live in.

It is nothing new since most (if not all) previous mass shootings were about some angry person taking out their problems and/or feeling on other people. There are quite a few people subscribing to the entitlement based anger that is common on the internet now. Some of the screenshots of reddit groups that have been posted on Twitter are absolutely insane.

His vote to retain Obamacare is one that everybody should be grateful for and it was fitting that he did something so valiant in his final years in Congress.

This is just a message board. It's not that serious. Anyway, this clip never will not be good

Not everyone watches the Soul Train Awards, but that probably is the closest opportunity that we'll for a proper tribute (they usually air in November). Even though that will likely happen I still think that someone should produce a two hour tribute show where more than just two or three songs can be heard.

The soap opera fan in me likes to imagine Cohen breaking down like Karen Wolek and releasing all the dirt in humilation.

Yesterday morning I had this horrible random dream about a television show where a lackey went state's evidence against a drug ring and ended up getting beat up really bad. Trump himself has mafia ties and knows some frightening people so Cohen is in some serious danger. The law does not have a sterling reputation of keeping witnesses safe from harm.

The 1990 version is nice in that elevator music sort of way.

Three months reel time in four years is certainly quite slow. The entire onscreen timeline of the show has to be around only six months or so if even that much, lol. Erica being all burnt up had me rolling even though that scene was not supposed to be funny.

did If Loving You is Wrong get cancelled? It used to alternate with this show but Haves has returned 3 times this year and If stopped airing. I think I read the cast hadn’t even filmed
There hasn't been any official announcement but I think it is cancelled.

Her discography is well stocked so hopefully people doing tributes will select some songs that are not commonly heard. The albums that Luther Vandross produced for her have a some nice album tracks like "Pretender", "Love Me Right" and "I Wanna Make It Up To You" which is a duet with Levi Stubbs.

Aretha did take her status seriously and didn't seem to count herself as part of a group of legends, but as the only legend.

This won't work. The other remaining cast members are talented in their own right, but Carter being gone makes it's impossible to duplicate the interactions that made the show funny. Julia responding to Suzanne saying something ridiculous was a highlight itself. Even Taylor being gone makes it not workable because of Anthony and Suzanne's interactions being so funny.

Been watching some episodes on Youtube when Tina was covering for Niki Smith and some of it is so hilarious, especially when Niki gets upset because Tina tells her that Viki would never wear party dresses.

This one hit me hard like Florence Henderson's passing did. It's always really sad when the icons go.

I bet they couldn't get Michael and settled......LOL
This is something that I thought too, lol. Jermaine was undoubtedly cheaper than Michael.

Ah, yes, the second season theme with the bizarre grammatical choice of "and Raquel Welch and Gerald McRaney as Adam Brock"...did Raquel refuse to agree to a "with Raquel Welch" credit? Just bizarre looking. And what ugly white font choice.
The show had been pulled from the schedule for poor ratings and Welch was part of the revamped second season so it's probable that billing was part of the negotiations.

That Another World theme was great, I love soap themes that have that lush sound. CBS' short lived primetime soap Central Park West had some interesting and sleek themes. The first one had a 900 number commercial vibe while the second was more upscale trendy business style.

Sunset Beach had a great opening sequence from the start. The music and the backdrop completely fit with coastal California.

Hallmark Channel fired him and for no apparent reason. There weren't any issues with behavior and supposedly Steines was blindsided by being fired.

It's gotten to the point where they are only concerned about winning and will support whoever helps them to win even if it's a foreign power. It's only a matter of time before they attempt to mess with actual votes. Everyone should check their voter registrations periodically in advance of registration deadlines just to be safe.

I have mentioned this before, but I was named after Chase Gioberti on Falcon Crest (mine is spelled slightly different).

Overused: Carly. At least three different soaps had a character named Carly on the air at the same time. For males it isn't a specific names, but the tendency to name a character a Junior and either abbreviate it to initials or use a common nickname for said name.
Underused: Glenn is one name that is not used much. For women, Dolores is rarely used.

Senate Republicans immediately put out a letter signed by women who says that Kavanaugh always behaved approporiate around them. It was put out so quickly that it had to been drafted well in advance of the article being published. They knew about this and were desperately trying to get him confirmed before it came out.
