  1. This. I thought MySpace died off years ago.
  2. [!@#$%^&*] the GOP, [!@#$%^&*] Ted Cruz's crocodile tears and pearl clutching on Twitter, and [!@#$%^&*] every news outlet that tried "both sidesism" in service of Trump. THIS is the result.
  3. I dedicate this song to Mitch McConnell and the end of the GOP Senate majority!
  4. Considering Laura slept with Jack, I think "glass houses" applies here.
  5. I don't give a crap about EJ or EJ/Sami. But the world of Days could survive without EJ. He's an unseen albatross at this point. Kill him (as dead as one can be on a soap. Hopefully Isabella dead, though...) and move the hell on. Just my $1.50 about the situation. Shrug.
  6. Hey, @slick jones! First, Happy New Year! Just a little postscript about the 2011 Law & Order credit for Jay O. Sanders. It was actually from the spinoff, Law & Order: Criminal Intent (if you're going for 1,000% accuracy!) I just figured I'd give a heads up! (He was the final captain for that final season.) He was a perp on the original Law & Order, however, as Nick Taska/Bill Fallon in the Season 9 episode, "Tabula Rasa". (Can you tell I was a fan of the franchise? )
  7. And yet, I have the feeling it won't matter. I think Georgia will vote Loeffler/Perdue in again. And the fact that McTurtle killed this so fast tells me that internal GOP polling must be favorable.
  8. Dumbing folks down is the only way 99% of these plots work. And this pre-dates Ron [whom I do consider a hack!], all the way back to James E. Reilly....
  9. Longtime GOP strategist Steve Schmidt registers as a Democrat: https://thehill.com/homenews/news/530393-longtime-gop-strategist-steve-schmidt-announces-hes-registering-democrat
  10. The Trump Organization must turn over documents to New York Attorney General Letitia James as related to the fraud case in progress. To which I say, BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
  11. He's not Mrs. Mitch McConnell, the current holder of the position. So already an upgrade!
  12. Don't know about Marlena's best pairing, but I do know I liked (Ro)John better with every other female he was ever romantically involved with more than I like him with Doc. But, at this point, I know they are forever chained together, so...whatever there. I still love Steve/Kayla, what can I say...
  13. She was also in the 1982 film version of Annie as Grace Farrell:
  14. I have no problem with that one. Shrug.
  15. OMG! Who(m)ever did this gem is a GENIUS!
  16. The TIME Person of the Year goes to President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris! And, not to be left out, in what appears to be a special honor for this year, TIME has named Dr. Anthony Fauci, "Guardian of the Year": Fauci shares the honor with front line health-care workers:
  17. I guess David Lander (no s, changed from Landau! ) fought MS for many years. It's such a horrible disease. As a wee kiddie, I remember watching Lennie and Squiggy on Tuesday nights. No one could say "HELLO!" quite like Squiggy. This has been posted on Twitter, but I'll post it here. Hilarious song by Lennie and Squiggy!
  18. Another day ending in Y, yet another day of Donald Trump being a criminal:
  19. This is your daily holiday reminder that Gym Jordan is an arrogant dick and a POS:
  20. Katie Porter eats Steve Mnuchin for a snack:
  21. It starts off with the classic Kisses bells but then morphs into a horn as a family makes cookies. For me, the original was a CLASSIC, airing for DECADES. No reason to change it. But the "update" blows, in my humble opinion!
  22. Congrats, @Fevuh!
  23. Also posted in the media/journalism thread: Governor Andrew Cuomo (New York governor...so, my governor!) will be receiving an Emmy award. Seriously. New York’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, is set to receive an Emmy award, typically given to those in the television industry, for his use of the medium when responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, one of the organizations that awards Emmys, said Cuomo’s award, the Founder’s award, is “in recognition of his leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic and his masterful use of television to inform and calm people around the world”. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/nov/20/andrew-cuomo-emmy-award-coronavirus-briefings
