  1. RC has created his own soap? What do we know about this? I have never heard anything about it.
  2. Thank you for taking the time to post them. They really look much better. At this point I think that the current Dynasty-like images of the characters all dressed up and giving us dramatic looks, are very old-fashioned and not in a good way. I wish that we would go back to the drawings (or some close-ups) and the 80s YR logo. A modern version of the late 70s LOVE OF LIFE intro would fit the show much better.
  3. Is there a video or a photo for someone outside the US to see? I really hate everything about the opening.
  4. Early B&B was perfection for me. I was furious when the Logans were replaced by the Spectra gang. It is amazing that all these years later, B&B still follows the same story. The Forrester family, the fashion house and Brooke's drama. I never understood why they never chose a more vibrant and dynamic for the part of Beth. Denise Alexander would be perfect. And they were stupid to let Margo go, but I understand that in many ways Brooke took over from both Beth and Margo The arrival of the Spectras and the Thorne recast ruined it for me. BTW am I crazy to think that JER was a consultant during the (amazing) Deveney Dixon madness?
  5. Yay, another Josh Griffith mini-story with name guest stars he will have no idea how to use.
  6. OMG. Thank you so much for explaining this to me. This sounds insane lol.
  7. Can someone please explain the train thing to me? Cane lives and works there? Is this a thing? Where is the train? Outside the city?
  8. I even found him hot as Keith Timmons on Santa Barbara.
  9. Joel Crothers was indeed a very sexy man. I have only seen him on TEON and Santa Barbara.
  10. All this talk at the GH thread inspired me to start a new thread about the sexiest men on soaps. Roscoe Born would me my number one pick. He didn't need to take off his shirt to look hot. Same with Chris Bernau as Alan Spaulding on Guiding Light. Timon Kyle Durrett from Beyond The Gates as well. Terry Lester as Jack Abbott. Trevor St. John's OLTL Todd. Ryan's Hope Geoffrey Pierson (Frank #4) Your picks?
  11. Ellen Wheeler would have done a horrible job recasting Blake. I would bring back Ed and Holly as Blake's support system, have her marry Alan-Michael, bring back her kids and have her feud with Dinah. That part of GL deserved more attention than the Coopers and Reva.
  12. Blake was raised as a Bauer, she was Roger and Holly's child, mother to Ross' children and shared a past with all Spaulding men. Her 2006-07 coma was a good time to recast the part with a more vibrant and dynamic actress. And why not sexier. In my GL, she marries Alan-Michael, helps him take over Spaulding Enterprises and they become Springfield's power couple after Ross's death.
  13. Roscoe Born was the hottest man on soaps. Ever. I am not into young boys that much, but I find Josh Swickard sexy, especially with the chest hair. He would look hotter if he played a bad guy though. This type of guys are sexier when they play bad guys. I never had a thing for Cameron Mathison, but I fond him sexy as Drew, even now that he is catatonic.
  14. If only Tamara Braun was playing Grace Turner and Noah was involved in a triangle with her and her daughter.
  15. Yes, all these men who were meant to cause problems to Jack and Mary and they all vanished after a while. Reenie was more or less the Kim prototype. I also loved John Blazo. His Pat was really sweet and he eventually felt like a Ryan.
