  1. I know I said this already, but it bears repeating here too - OMG!!!!!!!!!!! You don't know how happy I am to hear that you're bringing this back! I have never forgotten what a great story you were weaving and the fun times we had on blog talk radio! I've often wondered how you were doing and where your career has taken you in the last 4 years. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with you and all my RTSB friends! Teri OMG again!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so touched that you not only remembered me, but mentioned my name with the other SB superfans! LOL Having taken just over 2 years to my own fan fic, which ended up being 20 chapters, I understand how hard it is to pick it back up and how you need to reread it all and edit it, but that it's just something you can't let go of because there is a story that just has to be told! No matter how long it takes you to get the next chapter out, I will be here to read it!
  2. Sorry I have been MIA lately (work, making MVIDS, in-laws barging in, parents suddenly moving to Florida, and trying to write my own story). Sorry to hear that you seem to have had similar problems. I loved reading the last 5 episodes. All of them had me on the edge of my seat, laughing, excited, and happy. You really tell a great story and I hope you get to update soon Teri

    Episode 76

I agree. Great episode. Loved Warren and Brick stirring things up. The stuff with Eden is as heartwrenching as the McCreepy stuff is stomach turning. Loved Augusta barging in and I can't wait to see how the "good" doctor explains her to Soretta. I am always excited when I see there is a new episode and once again - I am SO addicted. Teri

    Episode 75

Very good episode and I am so glad you took your time with it. It really needed to be written well and you did that. I could just see Eden yelling at Kirk and the Ramirez family, Mason and Ted grabbing Kirk and throwing him out on his arse, Eden collapsing, and CC running to comfort her. Nice job. In addition to a nice Mason/Eden scene, a CC/Eden talk about their feelings regarding their common loss of a spouse would be cool also. I am sure you are already thinking about those scenes and I am looking forward to reading them. Teri PS - Also looking forward to the show tonight as long as I can stay awake.

    Episode 74

You know one thing I would like to see soon though is one of the those great Eden/Mason moments. Like the Eden/Mason scene after Mary died and when Mason sat with Eden all night on the courthouse steps when Cruz was in jail. It would be a good time for Mason to be the older brother and forget his problem for an hour or an evening. Teri

    Episode 74

I think (correct me if I am wrong Greg) Eden is reverting back a little bit to what she was like before she and Cruz were a couple. Because she is lost without her soulmate, she is becoming a bit more rude and self centered. I can't blame Adrianna for wanting a break and I thought it was well done. Great episode!!!! Good to see Chip and Brandon at the house and interacting with the family. Loved Augusta keeping an eye on "Soretta" while keeping Lionel in the dark about the whole thing. Also really liked Mason, CC, and Ashton taking little digs at each other. Mason has pretty much had that same response everytime his dad has tried to offer him relationship advice. Very in character writing and the addition of Ashton's comments were perfect. Poor CC, Ashton isn't any easier to control than Mason. LOL And to top it off, McCreepy and Soretta get it on. I can't wait to see what happens next. Teri

Nice to see so many people here too. I must not be the only RSTB addict. LOL

    Episode 73

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is definately a surprise. I was actually ok with Kristin, but now that I see who you cast, I like her much better. Very nice choice. Can't wait to see how she interacts with everyone. Also love Chip. Great choice and I can totally see him as Cruz's son. Fantastic episode. Teri

    Episode 72

In case I haven't said it lately, I am SO ADDICTED to RSTB!!!! Augusta in the bushes spying on McCreepy and Soretta was priceless. Also loved Brandon being the owner of The Lair. What I really liked is your nod to my SB favorite and his theatre project. Very cool! Teri

    Episode 71

Nice job! Loved Eden going off like that. A ticked off Eden makes for a dramatic and interesting scene. Augusta and Stewardess Tracey were a riot and I can't wait to see what she does/thinks about what she saw. Looking forward to the big reveal tonight and I hope to stay awake for the radio show tonight. Teri

    Episode 66

OMG I am such a Mason fan and this episode was the absolute best yet for me. Of course I have been thrilled with all of the episodes, so that just tells you how much I FLOVED this one!!!! When Maureen said the casket had been dug up, I just about screamed the same thing "THE BONES!!!!!" Brilliant, just brilliant!!!!!! I never saw that coming, but I really should have. It explains the whole church thing so completely. I was really wondering how you were going to do it and now I know. I bow to your supreme plot twisting skills. You are the master. I will be reading the next episode so fast that I will have to go back and read it again. Great job!!!! Teri
  12. Seems like this was the story of the last two weeks for both of us. I had similar trouble at my work with about 3 people trying to screw me over and make me look bad in front of the new manager, so I sympathize with you. I am not sure if your manager is new, but the following also applies to insecure managers/supervisors. I told someone the other day that a new/insecure midlevel supervisor is a lot like a new officer in the military. They get their first taste of power and then they start creating all these hoops for you (usually the best/most knowlegeable worker) to jump through in an attempt to prove to themselves they do have power. They hope that they can create a hoop that can't jump through so jumper will look bad and they will look favorable. In reality, they look like the idiot, but the fallout can be harmful to the one jumping the hoops. I hope things look up for you soon whether it be at the current job or a new one. Teri

    Episode 65

Another great episode. Tishy is right on about Julia being there for Eden (and Cruz) no matter what. Kirk continues to be a thorn in everyone's side including mine because I have no clue as to what he is up to besides hiding Cruz and trying to win Eden back. I just have a feeling it is so much more than that. Also liked Ted and all the women. I never remember Ted having many guy friends. He always had girls around him fighting for his attention. Ted sure hasn't changed much since we saw him on our TV screens, but maybe the girls have. It will be interesting to see what these women do to each other to win Ted. And all the while, Ted will just hang back and watch. Teri

    Episode 64

Love this episode!!!!! Interesting backstory for Mark and his mom. I can't wait to see where that goes. The kiss Mason gave Mary took me by surprise as much as it did Mary. Love the Pamela/Christine/Sophia-Loretta bit. Christine seems happy as a clam to have Mrs. L back. LOL Kirk is such a great villian and I am trying to pick apart everything he is saying to pick up any clues about his plans. What a great character to bring back to the canvas. Keep up the great work and I hope things are getting better for you on the work front. Teri

    Episode 61

Just when you think it is going to be a near miss with the phone, Angela's determination connects her with Laken. I love it!!!! As for Mary, I don't think she will have any kind words to say about Mark when she finds out he cheated her out of years with her child. Wonder who he got to raise that baby while he was "busy" saving Mary's life. I sure hope he and Kirk don't know each other. For that matter, I hope Mark and Dr McCreepy don't know each other. Another great episode and I can't wait until tomorrow. Teri
  16. I hope that you are feeling better this week and can't wait to read what happens next. I plan on calling in on Wed's show and I am sure the episodes will give us plenty to talk about. Teri

    Episode 60

I am sorry I missed the show last week. We got a new puppy and I was doing a bad imitation of my own ------> handyman. Took me about 3 hours to install the 3 baby/puppy gates and when I finished at 1230 am, I headed straight for bed. I plan on calling in this week though and I can't wait. Teri

    Episode 60

I agree with Tishy and Pentek, this was a fabulous episode. Loved Keith's antics and the way that whole scene was written. Kirk following Santana had me really creeped out. I am sure there is lots of good stuff to come for them. One thing I was thinking about though - Does anyone else think Kirk has set himself up as some sort of imitation of CC. The way he said that a lot of people in the community had reasons to set him up because he was a successful business man. Not that I am buying it, but it is a good cover story. I think it is so funny that he is trying to make himself like CC and I can't wait to see if any other characters notice that. Keep up the excellent work Teri

    Episode 58

Very nice!!!!! I could see that board meeting and all the characters while I was reading it. I'm sure Lizzie Bit was not planning on announcing her recent marriage quite that way, but it was great! Loved the Dr McCreepy who continues to treat/brainwash Sophia, but most of all I loved 2 days of Mason and Mary. So Mark (the doctor) was wrong about how far along Mary was. 5 months would be 20-23 weeks along and due dates are at 40 weeks. Babies are considered premies at less than 36 weeks, so based on what I know, I am thinking the baby was born at about 36 weeks, maybe 37. So that is about a 15 week difference from what Mark thought. Very interesting. I am racking my brain trying to remember the sequence of the Mark, Mary, and Mason triangle. I am sure that is a clue as to whose baby it was, but for the life of me, I can't remember when she was with each of them. Well, I will have to go read the synopsis and see if that helps. Great Job!!!! Teri

    Episode 57

I agree with Steve. Another great episode and having Eden be the one left behind is going to be very interesting. One thing I didn't think about before is that Adriana has not been through this before. That will also be an interesting dynamic as Eden not only deals with the loss of Cruz, but also her daughter, who is sure to spin out of control at least for a little bit. Kinda interesting that Santana showed up when she did. Since Dr McCreepy has recent expierence faking death, he gets my vote for the mastermind behind Kirk. Definately an interesting set up. Thank you for the Mason and Mary update. That has got me wondering all kinds of things like what the heck are Mark and Nurse Rhodes up to? There was no indication yet that the child was at their apartment so where could that child be? I suppose the kid is old enough to live on their own, but I wonder if it is in Florida or somewhere else. Also, since she and Mark have something going on, pretty much everything she says to Mason, Mary, and Pearl will be a lie. Of course, it will probably take them a while to figure that out. I really hope that they do find the child and that it is Mason's. Samantha and Julia will have major adjustments if it ends up that way. Can't wait for the next episode. Teri PS - Love that you have some action in our lovely state and I have the feeling there really is a Captain Joe's on A1A. LOL
  21. It really shouldn't be a surprise that I have the strongest feelings about Lane/Mason and Nancy/Julia. I just love everything about the situation that you have set up with them. It really was hard to choose the scenes for them. I told you the other scenes I had considered for Nancy/Julia, but for Lane/Mason Episodes 23 and 24 were the others that I had considered. For Judith/Sophia, it was the discussions with Rosa in Episodes 17 and 24 that were the most dramatic for me. Jed/CC was the hardest for me as far as the Leads go. A lot of his scenes in 2006 were shorter and didn't have quite the impact for me that the 2007 Episodes have had. Of course that may be because I was really focused on the Julia/Mason/Mary triangle. Are there a lot of bloggers submitting? I have only read RTSB and some of From These Roots. From what little I have read on SON, these are the 2 blogs that are the best written. How stiff do you think the competition is and what blogs do you think the stiffest competition will come from? I would like an idea (even if it is in a PM) so that I can make better educated suggestions. Teri PS is the show tonight at 10pm EST or 11pm EST? No promises, but since I am on vacation and don't have to be at work early in the morning tomorrow, I will try my best to log in or call tonight.
  22. Okay, I have reviewed all the episodes from last year and here are some suggestions for you - YOUNGER ACTRESS - Personally I think some of the best scenes for these 2 happened after the New Year's Eve episode, but here is the scenes I like best before the cut off. Alisa Reyes/Marta Ramirez - Episode 30, Marta accepts a peace offering from Adriana. This scene showed both her need to stand up for her father and wanting a friend who understands Heather Lindell/Samantha Capwell - Episode 20, Samantha consoles Rafe who has lost Lily. This scene showed that Samantha is all grown up and ready to go after what she wants even if it is following in her parents footsteps of falling for a person who is entangled with someone else. BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR - Very hard to pick for this category because there were a lot of good Keith scenes and very few before the cut off for Angel. Tuc Watkins/Keith Timmons - Episode 19, Keith spills the beans to Sophia about Elizabeth stepping in to save Capwell Enterprises. To me, Keith is at his best when he torments a Capwell with some bit of dirt he has dug up and no one knows how to bury a knife and twist it better. Bernard White/Angel Ramirez - Episode 17, Angel thinks his cover is blown because of Eden. This scene really shows how much Angel has invested in this deal so that he can be with his family. BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS - Great choices and I agree completely LEAD ACTOR - These are 2 of my favorite male actors and characters of all time. Lane Davies/Mason Capwell - So many great scenes for him especially after he finds out Mary is alive. I have to go with Episode 25, Mason is drunk once again and tells Julia, Augusta, Warren, Pamela, and everyone at the Orient Express exactly what is on his mind. Mason was always the most honest and verbose when he is drunk. I love how he can cut to the core of the situation and he can see his feelings as well as others involved so well when he has a little whiskey on board. Jed Allan/CC Capwell - Episode 23, CC has to change his will to save his company. CC makes a decision that will be good in the short term and thinks that he can manipulate things to minimize the fallout and this is a good example of that. LEAD ACTRESS - Once again, these are my favorite actresses and characters of all time. Judith McConnell/Sophia Capwell - Lots of angst, as well as great scenes, to choose from. Episode 24, Sophia and Rosa discuss her decision to keep her condition from the family and go ahead with Dr. Lavery's treatment. This scene just showed how important it is to Sophia not to worry anyone and handle things on her own, much like she tried to do with her breast cancer. Very in character for her. Nancy Lee Grahan/Julia Capwell - Even more angst and great scenes to choose from. I had the hardest time choosing for this one. In my opinion, Nancy and Julia are the most sure to win for me. The character has stayed true to type and has been well written. After careful consideration of 5 particular scenes, I have to go with Episode 30, Julia confronts Mary in the bathroom about why she came back. This scene showed just how torn Julia was between being honest, not wanting to lose Mason, and truely liking and admiring Mary. It also shows that Julia just doesn't think she measures up to the great Mary Duvall. The other 4 scenes that I look at were Episode 14 (Julia almost tells Mason that Mary is alive), Episode 16 (Julia confronts Mary about Mason, Mark, and the baby), Episode 22 (Julia tells Mason that Mary is alive), and Episode 23 (Mason blasts Julia for not telling him sooner about Mary). BEST STORYLINE AND BEST SHOW - I have to agree on both your choices, especially The Mud Fight as BEST SHOW. That show was classic SB and a very fun read. Good Luck and I hope RTSB cleans up at the Awards. Teri
  23. Sorry I am still having major issues with all the computers, but I was able to catch up this morning. You are doing a great job with all the storylines and the cliffhanger was as good as any that ever graced the small screen. Love that they are doing a SON Emmy event. I will try to get back to you later today with my suggestions. Teri

    Episode 44

Another great episode. The mystery is really getting good with all the storylines. Don't forget Roman, that Ashton was the one that handed the hair to Rosa to give to CC. No one said he gave her his hair. I do wonder if Edmund's plan includes letting CC find out what he did or if he just wants CC to think she is gone. I also wonder how long Gina will be able to "behave" while Keith pretends to be interested in Elizabeth. If memory serves me right, Gina was never had a lot of patience. Gotta get back to work. Can't wait to catch up. Teri
