Yikes. Laura Siegemund plays Naomi Osaka in Charleston tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Bouchard lost to Sara Errani today and gave this interview.

Posted this in the Steven Bochco thread, but Kim Delaney (AMC) has paid tribute to the late TV writer/producer, with whom she worked many times.

Aaaand Coco and Ash Barty won in dubs.
I wonder if Thiem will be ready for Monte Carlo. I suppose Sascha has to be a favorite for that title given his performance on clay last year, but Chung and Delpo have to be in the conversation. But the ATP hasn’t felt this unpredictable since the early 2000s.

Sascha folded like a flimsy old tent. Days like this are when I wish Andy Murray was back and healthy.
I guess it’s simple math that someone I don’t particularly care for would win this title after Osaka, Delpo, and Sloane, three of my favorites, won championships.

Zverev has fallen apart on serve. I would never have imagined Isner of all people would look fresher in a deciding set. But he has been clutch. Maybe he’ll wear Isner down.

Yay Sloane! She was in full-on pusher mode for most of the match, but she didn’t have to do that much but let Ostapenko’s errors fly. Sloane did step up at the big moments, and, man, can she cover the court. Not easy when Penko is hitting with such power.
Let’s see if we get a salty Ostapenko concession speech...
EDIT: Not bad. She’s grown up a lot. Very gracious.

This is disappointing. Novak seems totally lost, and he really shouldn’t have played IW/Miami.

Not a shocker but...

If Isner serve is on and his opponent is the least bit off, he’s virtually unplayable. Delpo has played a lot of tennis and is likely exhausted. But if you’re not taking care of your own service game and Isner is raining aces, you might as well just fast-forward to the handshake.

If Ostapenko plays Sloane like she played Collins, I give the edge to Ostapenko.
If Ostapenko plays Sloane like she played Svitolina, Sloane wins handily.

Watching the women's match.....poor tennis balls.....LOLOLOLOL
They are beating the hell out of each other. Maybe the winner will be softened up for Sloane.
Why is Delpo/Isner a day match while PCB/Zverev is a night match? Can you imagine the drunk, hyper-partisan crowd rooting for Delpo?

It’s getting that much harder to get anyone interested in anything new. There’s just too much stuff out there on too many platforms.

Hahaha...you don't like him? When I heard he had dropped Juan Carlos I knew he was full of it. It's too bad he can't get some separation from his dad. Lendl was mentioned as a possible new coach?
As for the match....I flove both but was pulling for Coric because he hasn't won a 1000 Masters and he was the lower seed. He's had 4 great weeks though with Indian Wells last week and now this week in Miami. He is at a new career high of #28.
Great player with lots of potential, but he just seems like a fuccboi. Spoiled and entitled. Coric is just more sympathetic.
LOL at Collins’s guttural screeching when she’s in trouble during a difficult point.

Ostapenko hits with so much power, and Collins is going toe-to-toe with her. She’s good.

Zverev is so obnoxious.

So he was basically playing himself all those years ago in Bamboozled. I don’t follow him much, but I’ve seen him say some very stupid sh!t.
