While she doesn’t blow me away, thankfully Tanisha Harper has grown a bit as an actress. Oddly, I thought Briana Nicole Henry was finally settling into Jordan performance-wise right before she left. But they need to commit with a characterization and a direction if they plan to keep her. If not, just kill her off at this point. Speaking of stepping it up, I’m enjoying Eden McCoy more than like… ever. I thought Rena Sofer and Michael Easton had some chemistry too. 🙈 I enjoyed the Nina/Ava and Carly/Sonny fight scenes. Both were well-written and acted.

I agree Rory Gibson was underused, but nothing he produced on Y&R suggested he was an NAC-level talent.

Just my own feeling—I hope I’m wrong.

Something feels off about how this show is dealing with Sharon Case. It sort of goes beyond mere disinterest on JG’s part. Just my feeling.

My issue is that I don’t think Y&R has any idea of what to do with him and hasn’t for at least a decade. He’s not well suited for the type of stories he gets. He’s not untalented; he’s great-looking; he can be charismatic when he wants. He wouldn’t be the first in Genoa City… I dunno… we’ve already seen Nick waver quite a bit about his place at Newman, and he started that ill-fated club that Dina burnt down. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him ditch the corporate gig for something more free. But they don’t seem to be able to write for him outside of NE.
