Go GH, absolutely well deserved! The show has been firing on all cylinders since about a year ago for me, so I’m thrilled that they are seeing it in the ratings.

That's exactly what I thought too - I was fully expecting her to go through with the marriage in order to get her kids back and then eventually have some confrontation with him later. I was pleasantly surprised that she did not go through with it!

NGL, I love Britt and am so happy she’s back. I didn’t really care for her in her initial story with Patrick/Sabrina, but enjoyed her ever since they pivoted her over to Nikolas and everything since.

I actually really like the spoiler tags, it makes it easier to read for me and helps consolidate the info.

I read a spumor somewhere (here maybe?) KG was back filming, guess we now know why. No way she isn't playing Britt and Liesl has her stashed away somewhere, saving her from the hook and "curing" her Huntington's.

Watching the last couple of weeks' episodes, I can't help but notice the casting of Eva and Kat. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the actresses that play Eva and Nicole have very similar shaped faces and skin tones and the same can be said for Leslie/Dana and Kat. My current theory is the baby switch - Leslie swapped her own baby with Ted for Nicole's, allowing her child to be raised in the lap of luxury while turning Nicole's child against her as the ultimate payback.

That’s great news! Would love to see GH’s numbers too. There are people watching these shows, just not in the same way. I go back and forth between watching the next morning while I have my coffee and catching a few episodes over the weekend.

Damn if I wasn't bawling my eyes out on the elliptical when their theme came on. Brought me right back to high school and falling in love with them all over again. I have been a HUGE KM fan ever since Port Charles (that was my show and Livvie was my girl) and I am so very sad to lose her and this character.

I was just thinking this as I've been watching GH lately. They seem to be beefing up both the black stories/cast as well as the LGBTQ side of things. Competition from BTG will be good for them all, I hope.

Oh I’m in the same boat, but I was just catching up on GH and reading this thread and got to thinking that the timing is suspect….

Complete speculation here, but does anyone think the reason Robert Gossett (Marshall) is leaving GH is because he has been cast on BTG?

New Lucas is the first time I have felt that he actually was a part of the LGBTQ+ community. His scenes with Carly definitely played as the older sister with her younger gay bro and with Joss, the gay uncle wanting to hear all about her life.

While I am sure there will be daytime newcomers, and there should be, it is a good sign that they are hiring actors who know how to work on a soap opera for these lead roles. Tamara Tunie has such wonderful experience in daytime, primetime, and beyond, it is a truly great hire. Karla and Daphnee are going to be wonderful as well. I feel that one of the biggest missteps Passions and Sunset Beach made was hiring models and non-actors for lead roles that took them years to catch on, or not at all. Really excited for BTG and can't wait for the flood of additional casting news to come in. Also, I am guessing that with the election they have pushed back the premiere to February? Speculation on my part, but that would be the ideal time in my mind, during sweeps month with more eyeballs watching tv and less opportunity for pre-emptions post-inauguration.

Plus who’s to say this doesn’t lead to something more down the road of successful?

I am happy with this. Landon would have been great too, but Havins will do just fine in the role.
