Why does that (about Eric Bolling) not surprise me? I'm sure this type of behavior goes on all the time at all the major news networks...but why does it seem as if it happens more frequently at Fox News? I mean, is EVERY guy they hire a misogynist who gets his jollies from sexually harassing women? Is it a job requirement or something?

To which, Miss Pence reportedly said, "God don't like ugly, girlfriend." There are probably soooooo many people who need to be taken down politically. It really WILL be up to the WH caterers to keep things going.

Anyone else get the impression from the Politico article that the Republican House Intelligence Committee staffers were actually sent to London with the expressed but covert purpose of intimidating Steele?

You could DEFINITELY say the same about Mike Pence. From what I understand, his home state of Indiana detests him; and if not for being Trump's VP pick, his political career would be all but over. (Honestly, if I were Pence, I think I would pray for Trump's impeachment. After all, how ELSE would I ever get to be president?) That's not a bad theory. But you know whose name crossed MY mind for a brief moment before collapsing into laughter and sliding away? Steve Bannon. Don't ask me why. Thank. God. Because that net neutrality business is so damn putrid. But it's a double-edged sword. Yes, his laziness and ineptitude have resulted in very little of his and the GOP's agenda being fulfilled. However, North Korea remains a threat, and I think there's a good chance his let-China-handle-it attitude will result in our being dragged kicking and screaming into war. Dennis says "ALMOST none," which has me wondering, what HAS been enacted? Srsly, has Trump accomplished ANY thing on this agenda?

Girl, you are a mess, lol. See, that's why I'm not entirely convinced Pence isn't in the closet. I think -- and this is just what I think -- he came to the realization that he was gay (or at the very least, bisexual) when he was in college, which was also when he became the gay-hating Christian conservative we know today.

I don't think they'll really KNOW until 1) they have removed the immigrant workers and 2) they realize the rest either won't fill those empty positions on account of the crap wages, or they'll have to fire 'em because their productivity ain't worth [!@#$%^&*].

Yep. The WWC can say all they want about "the illegals" and the harm they claim they're doing to the economy, but the truth is, they're not gonna work TOO hard to get rid of 'em or restrict their flow into our country, because immigrants, both illegal and legal, are working the low-level, low-paying jobs that the WWC don't really want. I mean, c'mon -- why do you think Africans were brought here on ships over 300 years ago? Because the Whites on the plantations were lonely?

From the article: “I don’t want to get off into a whole thing about history here,” Miller said. “The poem that you’re referring to you was added later. It is not actually part of the original Statue of Liberty.” And I say, SO WHAT? Was that even RELEVANT to Acosta's question? Oh, well. At least someone within TrumpCo. reads, right?

Exactly. Racism doesn't go away because we messed up and let a Black man be president for eight years. As long as there IS racism and there are racists, IMO, these issues will continue to matter. But, you know, it'll be okay. Black people have become used to this one-step-forward-and-two-steps-back treatment. We'll still get [!@#$%^&*] done, just like always. I figured he'd be pissed. For the most part, he'd been silent about those sanctions. Also, whenever the subject came up, they would say he "might" sign (or "was likely to," or "expected to"), indicating there was a good chance he wouldn't. Of course, we don't have to explain WHY there was a chance he wouldn't have signed the bill, do we?

Yep. Honestly, I blame the Abigail Fishers of our country, the ones who are mystified as to why the colleges and universities of their dreams won't accept them with their 3.5 GPAs and 1100s on their SAT's, even though OTHER White applicants with higher grades and test scores got in. As well, I blame those within the GOP who, if not outright endorsed Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, either remained silent or simply looked the other way, EVEN THOUGH Congress had denied him a federal judgeship -- during the Reagan administration, for Pete's sake! -- because he was too racist even for them. That man never should have been allowed to head up the Justice Department, and today proves why. Any minute now, I fully expect TrumpCo. to reinstall separate bathroom and eating facilities for all non-White persons. And that's only due to "name value." Because, the truth is, an Ivy League education isn't necessarily the BEST one in terms of quality.

Since when have White people had trouble getting into college? In my most honest and unfiltered opinion, this is a textbook example of those of the "Caucasian persuasion" refusing to admit their own mediocrities. I mean, your GPA's and test scores are crap, but that can't be why you can't get in or why you're denied this-or-that scholarship. No, the reason why it's SOOOOOOOOO difficult for you to get into colleges is because of all the coloreds and chinks and illegals taking spots that you think rightfully belong to you. And the long, dark night of America's soul continues.

IOW, 1600 Penn is about to undergo the tackiest makeover ever. Frankly, I keep waiting for the news that North Korea has launched a missile directly toward us. Because, if that happens, you KNOW we're going to war; and if we go to war, you also know Trump's second term is pretty much a "lock."

Already?? It's sad that most of us consider war one of those not-if-but-when inevitabilities under Trump's administration. I mean, I don't think anyone was even THINKING about war with Dubya before 9/11. But Trump? Yep, it's a foregone conclusion that we'll be fighting somebody before it's over. The article makes it sound as if Kelly and Trump's argument happened some time before he was elevated to the Chief of Staff gig. Nevertheless, it might not bode well for the two to share such a contentious history. After all, that's what helped boot Priebus out of the WH. If Kelly ends up getting canned, then I wouldn't be surprised to hear Trump announce (probably via Twitter) he won't be looking for a new COS, because he believes he can assume those duties and still be Prez.

Dear God, I can't leave the Internet for FIVE MINUTES w/o something else catching fire in Trumplandia. I think it's obvious now to most everyone that Mooch was hired for one reason -- namely, to push Priebus and Co. closer to the exit -- and that once his purpose had been fulfilled, he was officially dead weight. If his exchange with Gen. Kelly hadn't gotten him [!@#$%^&*]-canned, trust me, it would've been something else -- and it would have happened around the same time as well. Correction: Donald Trump has no idea what he's doing. Those closest to him, including his own daughter and son-in-law, know EXACTLY what they're doing; and they're exploiting his combined low intelligence and clear-cut diminished capacity to do it. (There's a special place in Hell for those who do that sort of thing to the elderly and infirm.) Except...Mooch didn't even have time to take off his hat. No doubt, even as we speak, Mooch is on the phone with Megyn Kelly AND a book publisher, ready to tell all.

From the article: The fear now, among Republicans in his administration and on Capitol Hill, is that Trump will turn against the party, waging rhetorical warfare against a straw-man GOP whom he blames for the legislative failures and swamp-stained inertia that has bedeviled his young presidency. It would represent a new, harsher type of triangulation, turning his base against the politicians of his own party that they elected. That seems...appropriate.
