  1. Last year, it was celebrity deaths. This year, it's sexual harassment and assault allegations.
  2. But, now that one has come forward with allegations about BS, do you expect there to be others? From what everyone's been suggesting, BS' victims are MANY. In fact, I'm thinking this story ALONE, once it fully breaks, will keep everyone buzzing well into January 2018.
  3. Translation: "America was great when n*****s knew their place." Yeah, I cannot WAIT to see this guy in action in the Senate chamber.
  4. Believe me, though, some people in this country actively want to see Hillary impeached.
  5. CUT TO: New York Times: Women Accuse Actor Denis Leary of Sexual Harassment, Rape (You know it's coming.)
  6. IKR? And it's the same with Obama. I swear, people talk about those three more today than they did when they WERE in charge. What gets ME the most is that, for all their talk of taking responsibility for one's life, those within the GOP and Trump Nation are so quick to blame their personal troubles and those of the nation on others. As Natalie Cole once said... For once, the [!@#$%^&*] was too crazy even for them to contemplate. Sigh. So, Al Franken's gone. The Democrats can claim the moral high ground, but I feel like the GOP's the real winner here.
  7. Whenever I see another jackhole jonesin' for Hillary's "impeachment," I always think, "See, you wanted Hillary to be president just as badly as we did!".
  8. The polls suggest that he will. Al Franken will be gone from the Senate...but Roy Moore will be elected...and Donald Trump will STILL be in office. It's just so unbelievable.
  9. That's all probably true, Vee, but why can't I shake the feeling that some of the women who have come forward about Franken are being motivated politically? To me, this feels less like taking down another, alleged sexual predator and more about taking out someone who posed a challenge to the GOP. Meanwhile, senior citizens will go after the GOP when they gut Medicare and Social Security, and I. Can't. Wait.
  10. The GOP whistles, and the Democrats come running. It's been that way since the election; and frankly, I'm sick of it. I'm sick of the Democrats being played by morally and ethically bankrupt a-holes who do not represent America's true values, who never have represented its values, and who never will.
  11. They're not calling for Trump's resignation, because they know that's a fight they'll never win. Sigh. There are times when I feel like all hope is lost...and this is one of those times. For all the talk of the GOP imploding, I feel like the party will end up having the last laugh over everyone else, effectively killing everything America was supposed to stand for.
  12. I'm not defending Franken or his actions, but asking him to resign at a time when the likes of Judge Roy Moore has been all but confirmed as the next senator from Alabama is preposterous. Moore will be in, Franken (and maybe others) will be out, and then what? I mean, besides all hell officially breaking loose?
  13. I guess that's what happens when a bill is scribbled hastily within the margins, after midnight, with a Sharpie.
  14. Exactly. You think YOU feel "weak and broken and ashamed," Matt? Well, it ain't even a tenth of how the women that YOU victimized over the years must feel. However, they, unlike YOU, will keep working in the business they've committed their lives to; and as far as I'm concerned, that's justice. Me, to Lena: "Is it possible that no one listened to your warnings about Harvey Weinstein, not because you're a woman, but because you're, well, you?" I probably shouldn't say this, or even think it, but I, for one, cannot WAIT for the day when Lena Dunham's career is shot down like the virus-infected bird that it is. #BIRDEMIC
  15. I must admit that when I read that headline, my first thought was, "David Davis? What the hell does the co-creator of 'The Bob Newhart Show' have to do with this?"
  16. I know him as well from "Murder, She Wrote."
  17. If anything, God could protect the very people THESE people would rather see burn. It'll be the most ironic thing ever for Trump to (inadvertently) deliver peace to the Middle East by having them all united against us. But, like I always say, all of us are God's instruments, lol.
  18. And the rest of the world says, "Who??".
  19. I've watched "The Turning Point" enough times not to be shocked by the amount of drama that occurs off-stage in the world of ballet.
  20. Yippee. Just what the free world needed: another long-ass article that seeks to plumb the depths of Bubbles' tortured soul. I am way past giving a [!@#$%^&*] about this man.
  21. Meanwhile, Robert DeNiro wishes he were back on "The Graham Norton Show." But seriously. Hoffman's been accused of sexual harassment by several women, and now he's on a panel to discuss "Wag the Dog." Who DIDN'T think that would be a recipe for disaster? I'm sure the Scientologists will say it's a witch hunt (if they haven't already).
  22. Why do I feel like Willie Aames is about to have a very, very bad day?
  23. Exactly. This is why I regard all the criticisms of the current administration on SNL as little more than posturing. In a way, that's a shame. Once upon a time, SNL was where you could speak truth to power. True. In fact, women and POC have been exiled from the news business for far, far less. Also true. Of course, back in Louis B. Mayer's day, being a Republican meant something different from whatever it means today. If Louis B. Mayer and his ilk were alive today, they'd definitely be considered centrists, or maybe even libertarians.
  24. They should. As for Brian Ross and his HUGE fumble: considering how much of an impact his bombshell made not just on everyone's news feeds, essentially burying the stories on the Senate tax bill for the day, but also on the stock markets, I'd say his suspension is just. (Although firing him would be good, too.) Look, I understand the desire to "get" Trump and his allies. Lord KNOWS I understand the desire. However, if these efforts on the part of the MSM to expose TrumpCo. as a den of thieves have any chance of achieving their desired effect, then they've got to stop behaving so recklessly. Brian Ross and ABC News' blunder was not the first time a major news outlet effed up a story involving Trump and his allies -- and it probably won't be the last -- but it absolutely needs to stop. Being first to report something means squat if you don't get it right; and these days, with Trump Nation dismissing anything that isn't from Fox News as "fake news," I think being right is more crucial.
  25. Yeah, IA that Little Jimmy Comey needs to pull up a chair and sit a spell.
