  1. They did the same goofy design for Rafe's kitchen, in which the hallway to neverland has been moved at least twice, with windows all around.
  2. I appreciate his, uh, workout tips. Yeah that's it. The workout tips.
  3. RHONJ I thought the New Jersey premiere was decent. In terms of Melissa vs. Teresa, if it wasn't obvious already, it's so clear this family does not see each other unless they're being paid to for the cameras. I wonder if the cousins were once close and if they stay in touch... I really don't buy anything Teresa says in terms of wanting to rebuild any friendships. This is all strictly for a paycheck. That said, I'm glad she's looking to end the feud with Margaret so she can move on to her sister-in-law for one final year (am I making too early an assumption that this will finally be the OG of Jersey's final season?) Meanwhile, it felt like a rookie tryout night for all the newbies and friends of, trying to make a mark and takes sides on various feuds. One looks like Janice the Guitar Player Muppet, one looks like Heather Dubrow's Whoville cousin, and one looks like a basic everyday middle-aged housewife who doesn't get any work done (which is actually refreshing, but in Housewivesland, that won't get you a spot, which she didn't). Janice the Guitar Player is doing too much; it feels like an act. But what else can we expect at this point in the game; none of these shows are fresh, never-before-seen ventures. Jennifer is still being Jennifer, which is why I'm Team Dolores no matter what the issue is. And of course, long after his photo session was over, Joe Gorga kept his shirt off and walked around the house having conversations. Weird.
  4. Yeah, speaking things that seem to be "off topic." I wonder if it's mentioned at the reunion; stuff like that typically is (see that one BH reunion where Andy called attention to EVERYONE'S legal battles at the time)
  5. Mmmm-HMMMMM... I've been saying that for years. Bill vs. Carter over any woman (though my ideal choice would be Brooke) would be a lowkey contest over whose pendulum swings closest to the floor.
  6. I mean, with Alice Horton being Julie's grandmother, and Julie being fast-tracked with an adult son in the mid 70's and late-teens grandson by the late 80's, I'm guessing Alice died at the tender age of 140.
  7. Tee-hee-hee... that image will forever cause me to giggle. Who doesn't love a buff ginger As I used to say in my ho days, "he looks like he could do some DAMAGE to me..."
  8. I thought Andy gave her a decent grilling on last night's WWHL. You could tell he was a tad ticked at Robyn withholding the truth about her own life while at the same time stirring up rumors and discussion about other castmembers' marriages. As he said, suspicions of infidelity seems to be a continuous throughline on this show. Meanwhile, Robyn still has that DUH expression on her face as she tries to twist her words to make Juan sound completely innocent with the woman from Canada. If/when she returns for S8, The Grande Dame and likely Candiace (and Wendy) will hold her feet to the fire. At least we can enjoy that. "UNLIKE her finances..." lol at that shady writeup for Mia at the end.
  9. That was on the Salem Spectator website. Good grief, that is just awful. And no mention of age, tee-hee.
  10. Well anyhow, with a 31 minutes run, or 34/35 as some are listed, I wonder what the game plan would've been had they aired on NBC as originally planned. Bulk it up with needless multi-minute flashbacks? Speaking of ending credits, I sure wish they would go back to their actual closing theme song instead of the cheeseball elevator stuff that is always used now. I don't care for the majority of their catalog of music currently as it is, but at least they used mostly good cues during the couple days Marlena was "dying."
  11. Wow, I never noticed there was an episode(s) only 31 minutes long?
  12. I particularly liked this point: (am I allowed to quote from another site?) So many stories or plot points these days are just the obstacle du jour. There is no fallout or repercussions or character analysis or growth. Stuff just happens and then they move on. The only aftermath they've shown recently was Bonnie's PTSD which was just for the purpose of outing Xander as the kidnapper. Now she's cool again; no more scary clowns haunting her. (P.S. Characters constantly making cracks about devil possession doesn't count)
  13. “I need Andy and a camera…!”
  14. Wow, I guess Peacock does allow more stimulating depictions of foreplay.
  15. I think every former DAYS actor who's still alive is basically on recurring... except Maree Cheatham, who should've been recurring for the last 2 decades.
  16. The irony of her tagline. Her truth couldn’t even make it to the reunion.
  17. @j swift I don't think Candiace opened a can of worms by using Andy's common phrase. She didn't say anything provocative or controversial about her boss. Here I am defending Candiace again (a world gone mad!), but I actually like what she did. She's pissed that certain castmates that she otherwise defended are cherry-picking what can and can't be revealed, all the while deflecting by calling attention to other people's marriages. And I love that the roof is caving in and the truth is coming out (©Jason Derulo) on Robyn, the Terri DeMarco of Potomac. Bingo.
  18. This wouldn't be the first time. Bradley seems to like jumping into a storyline several beats in to avoid writing the initial courtship. We never saw Eric & Quinn come together initially -- it was just a cliffhanger shock to find them in bed together. Didn't they do the same when Eric and Donna started boinking again? They did the same bedroom shocker some 10 years back when Taylor and Thorne got back together.
  19. LOL there was that one long chunk of time where it seemed like Nadia was coming while Chloe was going and vise versa back 'n forth because Nadia was pregnant twice and DAYS tapes a half-year in advance (at least).
  20. Count me in as an OG NYC fan. The OG cast is my all-time favorite and Season 3 will remain my all-time favorite season of any franchise. It's sad the Legacy idea is fizzling away, because there is still an appetite for the originals. Look at how excited & curious longtime Housewives fans are to finally see Alex McCord again. Plus, so many have wanted a full-time return of Jill. Plus, the curiosity over whether Dorinda can pull herself back together, and there's always good old tried and true LuAnn and Sonjarita. Seeing RHONY: Legacy fall apart really solidifies the idea that Housewives are modern day soap operas and we the audience like to see our longtime favorites come and go and return and... stay.
  21. Ellen Wheeler and the gang at the time acted like Guiding Light was gonna cure cancer or some sh!t. That Wednesday "Find Your Light." Oy.... those final 5 years. (I too read the Zimmer book).
  22. I liked the Lifesavers theme too. I kinda liked the visuals and definitely liked the music. Very majestic. 2003-2005 opening. Oy. Just awful. I always referred to this one as the "Knots Loving" opening; a cheap version of Knots' scrolling images, along with a direct ripoff of L-O-V-I-N-G as part of the music. Its one saving grace was that the melancholy background music version of it used in scenes was nice.
  23. The older I get (and the more tired I feel), the more I appreciate guys of a certain age that are able to maintain such a fit body. Well done.
  24. .... and in other related news, the infamous Blue Room will return to Salem, and it will now be redressed as hotel rooms, The Brady Pub, and the DiMera mansion.
  25. I'm looking forward to New Jersey too. Ditto Orange County. Like, I'm really super curious about this next season of OC and it's normally not a Housewives show that I anticipate. Regarding the taglines, I thought they were mostly clunky and longwinded. And like you mentioned of Teresa's, the delivery of some of them are :::yawn::: I'll be just fine if they don't play the opening for the majority of the episodes as they seem to be doing nowadays. IMO, the best taglines spoken are Margaret and Jennifer. In other news: Potomac Reunion fashion: Ashley continues to impress... Dear Lord at Gizelle and Charrisse... https://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-potomac/style-living/rhop-season-7-reunion-dresses-fashion-spoilers
