  1. C'mon, Soaps, Leo Howard is just 26, not almost 30. Your rounding up method is mean, especially during Pride month. LOLOL. But those texts were gag-worthy for sure. Tate said Holly said Tate gave her the "perfect prom"? And Tate responds "We'll always have tonight"? HUH??? Did I miss something? A lamer prom I have never seen -- and that's before the whole thing was upended by Criminal Mom.
  2. Jane Elliott is just so good. She's the heart of GH right now. Genie Francis should share that honor with her, but Laura is so poorly/weirdly written that Genie isn't even in the competition. I cared about Finn for 1o minutes a few weeks ago. Then that feeling went away.
  3. For me, the scnes with EOB playing Theresa as a mom don't work. There's nothing about her that screams "Mother."
  4. And didn't we not too long ago see Paris walking down the aisle with Carter, who she knew for about 10 minutes? Regardeless, I guess we're all tuning in because we want to see Tom the Homeless Dumpster Diver look longingly at Luna and Poppy.
  5. I'd love to go back to the non-spoiler days and those times when we actually be shocked at what's on our screens.
  6. I don't think Maura West would agree to do Zooms and answer GH questions carefully if she were being written out.
  7. Exactly how I feel. I thought the writing for him would improve when Ron returned, but it hasn't. I just don't get it. Leo Howard reads "mature" in a way that JMM did not. It was easy to believe JMM's Tate and Holly would do stupid things. That stuff does not work with Leo's Tate, and the side effect is that it also makes me dislike Holly.
  8. I agree with you in principle. Any "argument" I had with Doug Davidson was precipitated by his lies about Joe Biden, Democrats, liberals, etc. He also (thinks he) excels in condescension and passive/aggressive behavior. Could I let that go? Sure. But I don't want to LOL. I called out DD yesterday because he FOLLOWS this Kerry Racist Bitch -- the one Braeden went after. He offered excuses like "I didn't know that." Well, Dougy, I just told you. Then he said he doesn't spend all day on social media, but maybe I do -- more condescension and passive/aggressiveness. Then he goes on to whine about "so much ugliness" on social media these days. So yeah, I'm fine with taking two minutes out of my day to give the guy some heartburn.
  9. I love Eric Braeden, even though he blocked me on Twitter. Why? Because I argued with "Dougy" Davidson the MAGAt. EB is loyal to his friends, I guess -- even scum like DD.
  10. I don't either. The normal soap trope would be for us to root for Holly and Tate while hating Sophia. Instead I want Sophia to ruin them. LOL. I caught that, too. That's definitely a tell. I just hope he's not paired with Leo, who Ron C seems to be OBSESSED with.
  11. I LMAO just thinking about it. Poppy announces their arrival by saying "Bill owns a billion-dollar corporation." Well, honey, why are you then getting dressed up for a f.ucking reservation at a PIZZA DIVE???
  12. That Kerry woman is attention-seeker, but she's also a blatant racist, and I'm glad Eric Braeden called her out. Yes, she'll get more attention for 15 minutes, but none of it will be good. She's upset/hurt that so many at GH blocked her, so I'm fine with all of daytime going after her. Eric Braeden never had much of a filter, and now he has none. Good for him.
  13. It didn't. It's all super cringe, including Tom the Homeless Munchkin getting hired to wait tables at Deacon's "make a reservation" pizza dive.
  14. LMAOOOOOO All so true. None of it makes sense. And then after that "late night shirtless jog," Alex goes home and puts on a suit. OK then. But good job to DAYS' props department for getting some of those prom balloons to the Salem Inn!
  15. I'm guessing most everyone just decided to roll their eyes at this and scroll on. I can't. With all that's going on at GH, I can't imagine the need to trash Trina like this.
  16. That's true. Of course, we knew Passions played with time when the show premiered and the first month of episodes covered one day.
  17. Around here, you can't buy tickets at prom, and there's a cut-off date a week or two before. Maybe other schools permit day-of. Chaperones were teachers, not parents who can put a damper on all of it. Also, I'm most familiar with proms that start at the gym for a few hours, then go somewhere else for "Post Prom." I just had to LOL at all of DAYS' prom choices -- such as all those helium balloons by the lockers. Decorate thee gym? Yeah. But the locker area leading to the gym? No. I guess DAYS had an extra $20. to spend. Yes, and there's all that liquor that's been poured into decanters to leave out on a table. I mean, who does that?
  18. Good points, Maxim. The energy created by yesterday's episode just disappeared today. I wanted a much stronger, longer reaction from Steffy that included sustained ranting and pouting. Instead, everyone was sort of copacetic. Wildly disappointing. And the Poppy and Katie scenes I've complained about had no teeth, either. Sheila and Deacon? YAWN. All I kept wondering is if Sean Kanan started on Ozempic when he didn't even need it.
  19. Especially silly since Katie has Big Chocolate Stud Carter waiting for her and should have no interest in Bloated Serial Cheater Dollar Bill.
  20. This prom stuff -- the timing of it all -- is ridiculous and hilarious. This is reminiscent of Y&R proms of decades ago when they were held in the dead of summer rather than in April or May. DAYS has taken it one step further. Seems you can decide to attend THE DAY OF PROM. No worries about getting tickets, getting a dress/tux, or finding a date at the last minute. Of course, since no one is attending school, I guess there's time for all of those.
  21. I guess Steve Kent was "in charge" of the Lily and Daniel storyline that ended with a complete THUD.
  22. Are we supposed to support Katie when she side-eyes Poppy and acts like she has ownership of Bill? Because none of this is any of her business, and I want Poppy to tell her to tell her to get the hell out.
  23. -- With that body and bubble butt, I can take Carson Boatman's acting, but I agree that they're boring. They've been given "story," but the end result is it feels like they've had no story. I really think the writers have failed them, dialing back the wildness/edge/immaturity in both characters. -- I think Brandon Barash has been failed by the writers, too. He exists as a talk-to, showing up with a letter, or overhearing some secret. -- I'm also done with Jackee. I love her for a year, but I'm over it. All of it. -- Marlena's Drive-Thru Therapy is impressive. If you can find a psychiatrist, it takes a couple months to get an appointment -- but not with Marlena! Same day is fine!
  24. I agree -- clumsy and clunky. Part of that is because I don't think Matt Ashford is much of an actor. He IS Jack, but he's just not very good. I also did a double-take when he made a postive comment about Juneteenth. Didn't we hear him go all racist in his run for mayor???
