  1. It doesn't make any sense. None. Do these writers think we just overlook that kind of thing? It's lazy and condescending.
  2. -- Have to agree that Dani is a mess. I mean, she went to Haley and Bill's house to let them know she wanted nothing to do with them. LMAOOOOOOOO Just stay away and you won't have to hear Haley's lame "I didn't mean to" apologies. Dani is delusional. -- And how sad can Dani be if she's having constant sex with one of the finest guys in town? -- Chelsea's date is one lame actor. That was not good, although that final scene gave a pop to the entire episode. -- Derek showing up with carnations -- CARNATIONS -- made me howl. Cheap ass bouquet from the grocery store. -- I hope they're done with the Ashley praise for delivering that baby. My God. -- The writing for Martin is embarrassing. -- I'm looking side-eyed at the lack of affection/desire between the married gay couple. Yes, things are strained, but we still could have had a hug (or more) from them by now.
  3. Giving Gio all these scenes with Tracy make it clear the show knows -- rightly -- that this actor is more than solid when he's given decent material. Plus don't get me started on Gio's looks. I mean, he's beautiful.
  4. Sorry I missed the tongue-in-cheek comment. Meghan Markle? She was very good in Suits.
  5. I've decided I'm not crazy about Joy. She can leave any time. She doesn't read as someone who's qualified to do anything but act on a terrible soap opera. I think Galen did a nice job with Arnold, but it's gone on too long -- to the point where everyone else looks ridiculous.
  6. Josh Morrow was a guest host on Good Morning Football this morning and did a nice job. It's a M-F 2-hour show on the NFL Network and is out of L.A.
  7. That was Emmy race stuff? Uh...agree to disagree. I saw nothing special. Besides, I'm not a fan of scenes where characters talk/argue and one of them (Hope) shouldn't listen to a thing the other one says (Daphne). The other scenes were worthless. This is a show with a runtime under 20 minutes, yet they're airing damn flashbacks. When they're not doing that, characters are repeating dialogue from previous days. It's one stalling tactic after another: Luna not telling Bill she knows who her father is and that she met him, and Finn not telling Steffy that Luna isn't in jail.
  8. -- Does this show really think we still care about Oscar at all? -- Maybe it's the lighting, but Eva LaRue looks rough today. -- LMAO that Sonny talks about the "improved security" at Valentin's house while we see that enormous window in the living room. Not exactly a fortress.
  9. Yesterday, moments after Martin overheard Smitty tell Nicole he was thinking of going back to work and getting back into journalism, he then told his mother about his presidential ambitions. He didn't even mention Smitty. I'm seeing a really self-centered Martin. As I said before, it looks like all the shopping was done at IKEA. I mean, that's just bad. What's with those rickety shelves?
  10. Agreed. Today's episode was yawn-inducing trash. I was bored outta my mind. Not one conversation made a difference to any storyline.
  11. With the BTG competition in most markets, GH would be crazy to get rid of Tabyana Ali. GH should be giving their Black actors MORE to do, not less.
  12. -- This was Martin's and Smitty's best day, for sure. I do wish that kiss had been a peck on the lips instead of the cheek, though. I hate to think they're overdoing the "playing it safe" thing. -- Kat was so much fun today. Loved her. -- Loved the "real" references like TMZ, the Shade Room, Insta, Gucci, Loubitins, etc. Soaps always make up some generic name that is so bad, and it takes me right out of the scene. It's Facebook, not FacePlace or some other bullsh_it. -- Overall, a really good episode. I was invested in every single scene.
  13. -- I know soaps play with ages, but this is a HUGE error, in my eyes. And running for president? Are you kidding me? Soaps never do high-level political stuff realistically, so this is ridiculous. If they had mentioned senator or governor, I might have swallowed hard on it. Also, talking about running the day after Dani's viral video makes Martin sound really dumb.
  14. Liam has been back-burnered for months. Carter was good with Quinn, but they ended that quickly. He's been awful ever since, and is now delivering some of the worst acting I have ever seen on daytime. He's also a BOLD writer, but I can't compliment that, either.
  15. I doubt if Jamey did any more of that than Ron did.
  16. -- Luna's making that same face for the 3rd day in a row. -- Major troubles for Finn/Steffy and Carter/Hope. And you know what? It's good to see their lives blow up. I don't think Bradley Bell intended that, though. Fact is, he hasn't created one couple we care about.
  17. Granted, Joss has been around guns her entire life, but we were never given any indication she was familiar with them to the point of being an expert marksman. I'm sorry, this is completely absurd. What would be wrong with a line that she showed promise and was getting better? That it's possible she can get there? I'm not complaining too much. I love it when soaps give me something to laugh at.
  18. -- Joss scored a 99.2% on her marksmanship test. Thanks for the laughs, GH!
  19. I think it is his real voice, and I don't think he's putting on anything. My gaydar pings with Brandon Claybon, for sure. There's so much talk about recasting him and the actor playing Derek, and I'd rather they not do that. We're just getting used to a huge cast and I think the idea of recasting already is crazy. Let's see how these guys work out. Let's see if they improve. I don't want the show to announce "We made mistakes" this early. Bill and Hayley mentioned they had an interior designer for their house. Looks like they hired one who gets everything from IKEA and Walmart. Wayfair was off limits. I noticed on their home set and elsewhere, the BTG designer has a fascination with open shelving that looks really inexpensive.
  20. Derek is no prize, but let's face it, neither is Ashley. She started getting on my nerves when she asked for another shift at the hospital. GMAB. I still think Andre can do better LOL In other news, Ashley's apartment is a disaster. That bed on a landing? Hope no one stumbles getting out of bed. Her place is almost as bad as Bill and Hayley's.
  21. I agree about the livestream not changing anything, but without it, there was no need for a press conference -- which the show clearly wanted. It is silly that no one was really interrogated let alone arrested LOL LOL He did. Every time he says "Duprees" he does it with dripping contempt in his voice.
