  1. I think the entire storyline is a mess.

Ridge has to act like a complete idiot to even agree to another ceremony. Who does that? It’s just ridiculous. Every scene this week was stupid, just building up to Katie overhearing ANOTHER FaceTime conversation between Quinn and Shauna.

And weren’t those talks stupid, too? Quinn would call her on the phone, not do some FaceTime with her. Brooke acts perplexed, which also dumbs down her character to nothing...Shauna is embarrassingly desperate...Quinn does nothing but try to wreck Brooke’s life while standing by the mantle...Eric walks in like a doddering old fool who’s lost...and Ridge stands there speechless and lets things happen to him.

i’d rather have spent the entire week on Steffy.

  2. Put Maxie with Spinelli. Sorry, but she’s no romantic lead any longer, and it’s time they stop giving her babies.

The Cyrus story needs a Laura, but honestly, the show doesn’t need Cyrus. The character is ridiculous, and just not menacing enough to matter.

They don’t have a clue what to do with Brando or Dev, and I’m not sure they know what to do with Joss and Cam, either.

The daily lessons from and for Alexis on osteoporosis are dreadful. It feels like View Your Deal on The View.

I pretty much enjoyed all of Mike's alzheimer storyline, even if it took years to tell.  Mike's story involved a lot of the cast and there were some good emotional scenes.  It was nice to see Sonny be in a main storyline that wasn't focused on the mob - it was a family story.   And Max Gail was really good in this role. Another thing that was good was the background music - the three sad piano cues.  I thought it was handled a lot better than Y&R's alzheimer storyline.

There has to be some happy medium between taking YEARS to die with 1000 goodbyes and talking about Dina while “she’s in her room.”

I really don't think Ava/Nikolas have chemistry anymore. Sadly.

I agree that GH missed the boat on not pairing them earlier. I’ll be honest, though. I’ll watch any scene with a Marcus Coloma. The guy is so damned attractive I can’t stop staring at him.

2 1/2 actually. I really like Max Gail in the role and I'm glad that the story has been more focused on Mike and the effect that his disease is having on the family, rather than stuff like that dead body under Charlie's mess, but I'm ready for this story to transition into another one.

I also don’t need to see all these scenes supposedly from the past — creating Mike’s relationships that we never saw onscreen.

    Just die already.

  5. An asexual story for Dev would be a waste of time and a complete joke. Where is there to go with that? It would be ridiculous.

i like Britt’s return, but as Chief of Staff? Another joke. So Cyrus is taking over the hospital so that he can destroy it in a few weeks? I don’t mind soaps doing soapy things, but this is just stupid, as is Cyrus walking the hospital halls and delivering threats.

CBS would do well when Coronavirus is over - to reduce Y&R back to 1/2 hour and have another 1/2 hour of Price is Right, or cancel B&B on air here in the U.S. and just stream, and have 2 hours of Price is Right.  The Talk is stinking now as well in ratings.  Makes me laugh as a GL and World Turns Fan when I used to post that it was a mistake to cancel them instead of trying to fix them and give them a little money/budget - and people actually said CBS Daytime will be stronger than ever with Let's Make a Deal and just 2 soaps.  Well now you see.  Bring on 2 hours of Price is Right and say goodbye to B&B - let foreign countries air it live, put it on stream here in the U.S. - and Y&R I don't even know what to say.  How the mighty have fallen completely and they've done nothing about it.  It's like they want it to die.  And I wouldn't be cheering if I were GH or DAYS - the numbers are terrible.  You're well below ratings for alot of shows that were cancelled within 10 years ago.  And I know primetime on major networks aren't doing great either - but they're not going to continue to pay all that budget for no output.  They'll air more local news rather than squabble over 200,000 women 25-54 or 18-49 or whatever.

    LOLOL

  7. I like Sharon and Adam together. There’s chemistry, which she doesn’t have with Rey and he doesn’t have with Chelsea.

As far as Sharon opening her legs for Adam, it’s her life and her business. She’s a grown woman, and Adam isn’t forcing her to dwell on his problems or to do anything.

Lola and Noah might work. That short scene had some chemistry, and I’d like to see Robert Adamson back full time as Noah. Lola and Theo are not working at all. She’s pissed at him every 10 minutes, and the writers are doing Lola no favors.

Addressing COVID on the show? No thanks. I don’t want to see it. They’d have to make it a big deal for every character in order to do it justice, and I don’t want the show turning into The COVID-19 Hour.

Freddie said there’s supposed to be a lot of flashbacks of Will and Sonny today. Idk about him but I’m sure Chandler will be back sooner or later.

Hope you keep watching @Soapsuds These monthly threads wouldn’t be the same without you lol

The flashbacks only reminded me of the time when both Chandler and Freddie tried and when Freddie actually looked good.

More goodbye scenes today, and none of them drawing any real emotion. The actors are to blame, but so is Ron for some terrible writing that made WilSon the most boring gay couple in America.
